Nice lightweight jacket which will keep me warm in the winter with some other layers while I'm walking my dogs. I already had owned another Ultralight 850 Down Hooded jacket from 2019 in a Large size. This time I bought same size but it was too baggy, so I had to exchange it for a Medium which fits better.

Nice super super light. Wish it fluffed up more but haven't really had a chance to wear it. Bought it for my trip to Alaska this summer so we'll see !

Nice jacket. It is not as warm as i thought but is warm enough for my purpose.

Would have liked the hood to be packaway in a collar

A very good looking lightweight jacket. I mean light-extremely light. Every thin This is a nice looking jacket for Fall and Spring. It is extremely light weight and not suitable for me here in north east Pennsylvania during the cold, windy Winter days. I notice the wind and cold when it gets around 40 degrees. Good looking jacket but not suitable for long periods of cold weather.

Got this coat for my husband, who says it's comfortable and warm!

Be sure you realize what you're buying. It is certainly warm for its weight and packability. However, it is not the warmest 850 down coat around. For temps below 20F, go with something else.

Nice, very light and warm. But tight in the shoulders. XL almost too small. 5'10" 205 (46R). Fabric also feels thin, hoping it won't rip.

Worn walking in 30F to 50 with 2 cotton tee shirts under (one long sleeve) in dry, cloudy to sunny weather. Warm at lower temperatures when zipped up completely, especially when windy. Fits well. Chest pocket barely fits iPhone 14 and must be zipped to hold the device.

Almost perfect but I'm keeping it. I tried numerous coats this season, and had a hard time finding one that fit well. I'm 6'3, 170 lb. I ended up getting this coat in a medium tall. Everything about it fits nicely except the armpits are too snug. If I could change that one thing, it would be perfect. It's not so bad I can't keep it though, and I otherwise think it's a nice coat.

Very warm and lightweight. Comfortable fit would like it to be a little longer. You must a mid weight layer on while wearing this jacket.a inner pocket would be nice but otherwise excellent performance.

Purchased this in Large, Tall for my husband who is 6'2" and about 170#. Unfortunately, it was too small for him. There was no room for anything but a thin layer underneath and he typically wears a sweater-weight layer under his jackets. I will probably look for a different style rather than reorder in a larger size. The coat is well made, but the outer layer is thin, and I think it could rip or tear easily. I have the women's version of this jacket from about 3 years ago, and it isn't as thin as this one. It is very lightweight and warm, and good for travelling, which is why I like this particular jacket.

Very nice jacket and it's pretty warm. Not nearly as heavy and warm as I had hoped, but it'll do for quick trips out and about.

I like the coat color, fit and zippers. I do not like the stiching color and there should be and inside pocket on both sides.

I bought a medium but it ended up to be slightly larger than anticipated, mostly looser at the bottom. However, with multiple layers in the winter time the coat should end up being a perfect fit. The color is nice.

Bought this jacket several years ago and wore it every day. I loved it so I bought a new one recently. Everything advertised about the new version is true except the "pack away into its own pocket" feature is not available in the new version. I called to complain but no one would believe me. I went to the LL Bean store in Yonkers to see if the coats there had the feature and they did not. The salesperson looked at my coat and the coats in the store and agreed they did not have that feature. LL Bean needs to correct their description since it misleads customers. Hope someone sees this and corrects the ad.

Warm jacket and light weight but not made well. The feathers came out after few uses. I would expect a better quality for the price paid.

Seems well made. 850 down isnt very puffy though. Not sure of warmth as its a coat i dont wear in the spring.

This coat is awesome and so warm. The only improvement i would make is to add a lining to the hand pockets. When its windy and your hands are in the pockets they sag down below the level of the outside of the coat and catch some wind. Only the thin material between your hand and the wind.

This coat is almost perfect. The only thing i would improve is to put some kind of lining in the pockets. Would be slightly more comfortable and sometimes when my hands are in my pockets, they actually sag below the very bottom of the coat and if it's windy, there is nothing except the thin shell material between the wind and my hands. Kind of a cold spot on the coat.

Unfortunately it was too large for me. I returned it. Beautiful jacket though!

Its a nice jacket but extremely small. I wear a 2xl in everything and this was extremely tight, almost smaller that an xl.

This jacket is great at keeping my son warm. It looks great without the bulk. The version from 2 years ago had fleece lined sleeves. Sorry that feature is no longer available.

Nice light warm coat but doesn't have a hood adjustment because when you tighten the hood it goes down too low and limits your eye sight!

The Jacket is Good for 35 to 40 degrees . Just have at t shirt and at Sweater and light Vest. The only side Down is the tread on my is coming up. I have other 850 LL beans and they Good. They are at Good Jackets. I like them. I will continue buy them.
