These are great fitting and super comfortable shoes! I have very narrow feet and ordered the "Narrow" size. They fit perfectly. Great shoes to wear in the rain or for any outdoor pursuit that could get your feet wet. I will definitely recommend these shoes to my friends!

These are great boots. I live near Seattle where it rains for days. I walked three miles in a down-pour and my feet did not get wet. The sizes run intentionally large. They say it is to allow for an air pocket. Just be cautious. If you are a 9.5 don't order a 10.

My mom bought these for my husband as a gift to thank him. He loves them, his feet stay dry in rain or snow, they fit very comfortably (we bought a size smaller than he takes) and he can walk in them without discomfort.

My husband was seeking a pair of 6" boots in the headquarters store in Freeport. He left disappointed as the 6" boot was not available, but did know what he needed for size thanks to help there. We ordered the boots online at home and discovered there was an online special. That was certainly a pleasant surprise. As to the boots, they fit very well and are comfortable. Their durability will make them part of his wardrobe for life.

I love these Maine boots (6"). They are very durable and comfortable. The styling is great and I've wanted a pair for a while. And they are easy to wear with or without wool socks. I definitely recommend these brand boots to anyone who would rather buy American-made.

I purchased these boots to replace the identical pair that my husband had worn out after many years of use. They are his favorites: comfortable, sturdy, waterproof and warm! That's important in our sub-zero climate.

Great Boot. After pulling my new pair on it felt like I was reunited with an old friend. I've owned Bean Boots in the past and used them for Grouse hunting and early fall Bowhunting. They have always kept my feet dry and comfortable. I'm using my new pair for my latest hobby Geocaching. As I go hunting for hidden caches I don't need to worry about rain, wet grass, puddles or any other minor wet inconvienence that I may encounter while I'm exploring the outdoors. Quality workmanship.

Bought Bean Boots for snowy slushy conditions. I am very pleased. They are perfect for our long winters here. As Bean states, you must wear heavy socks for proper fit and warmth. The unlined ones are cold and sloppy fit without heavy socks. I own Maine Hunting Shoes that I purchased in the '70's and they are still going. I am also very pleased that Bean Boots are still made in Maine and not overseas.

Purchased the Brown/Brown men's 6" boot and am very pleased with its durability and appearance. Brown/Brown looks more masculine that the Tan/Brown. Very trendy and stylish and looks great with jeans and a barn jacket. Need to order one size smaller than is typical, as these boots run large to accommodate a thick sock. Would recommend that L.L. Bean improve this boot by adding a more cushioned insole for comfort.

These are the best! I last wore Bean boots when I was in college (mid-80s)-- I decided to give them a try for the wet Fall/Winter/Spring weather, and I'm very glad I did. I have big, wide feet, so I was apprehensive about ordering. Comments said to order a size down, so I got 11W. To my surprise, they fit perfectly, allow me to wiggle my toes a bit, are not big heavy or clunky. Very comfortable, I find myself wearing them whether its wet outside or not. If/when these wear out, I'll be buying them again in a heartbeat!

My son was thrilled with the boots. I ordered the wrong size and was able to trade them out before he left for college on the 2nd. Great customer service.

Bought these boots before...My husband has some and our son was always borrowing them. We decided to purchase a pair for him for Christmas! Our son was very pleased!!! We thought they were not going to get here until after Christmas...but we were pleasantly surprised, they arrived Christmas Eve!!!

This is a great fitting comfortable boot. Pay attention to the sizing and you will love these boots. I especially like the 6" boot because here in NW Fla and lower AL I can wear low socks and shorts in the summer and keep the sand out of my shoes. Lower shoes don't work for me. In the winter there is room for an extra pair of socks which really helps out during our periodic cold spells. The price is right too!

I bought these as a gift for my son to wear around campus on rainy/snowy days. He wore them the first night he got them. He commented that they are comfortable and easy on and off. Wears them on cold days as well. A great value as I have a pair that is @18 years old and still look great!

The boots my husband bought aare perfect. And your service is outstanding.

My hubby wanted these for Christmas because he has had them before. We basically had a monsoon here this weekend, and his feet are nice in drive. Only suggestion is the lack of cushion/support inside. My hubby has flat feet and needed to put inserts in the boots.

It's been said many times already, but these are great boots. They keep my feet dry, look great, have proven durable after a year of use, and are made in the U.S. The sizing is strange, but is as described in the sizing information.

I have poultry houses.Walk on the droppings,eats shoes up.These last a year.Thats way better than most.

Do I really even need to tell you that these boots are perfect. Follow the sizing guidelines. You won't regret this purchase.

My first pair (known back then as 'Duck Boots') lasted more years than I can remember, so when they finally gave out I had to have another pair straight away! I finally persuaded my husband to get a pair, and he is especially pleased because they come in narrow which, like me, he needs. We both love them and can't recommend them highly enough, thanks LLBean.

We are giving these boots to our son-in-law for Christmas as the men in our family have been wearing Bean boots for years and years and they are the best in every way. Thank you LL Bean for staying true to your products since the beginning.

First pair lasted 20+ years. Unfortunately Bean's warranty doesn't cover new (7 months old) puppies. My bad. They'll probably bury me with this lastest pair. The name on the heel says it all - Quailty never goes out of style.
