Because they are LL Bean, I expected the boots to look and feel great. They do. I anticipate years of wear and compliments.

What can one say? There's a reason why these boots have been around for over a century. This is my 3rd pair of these, and for snow days I've got an 8" version with thinsulate. Also, they're made in Maine which is a huge plus. Just treat the leather with mink oil or similar once a year, and they'll keep your feet dry regardless of the conditions.

Best quality! They are so durable and love that they are waterproof.

The first pair was to big, I had sized them off my work boots. The best part!! was the representative that helped me reorder with a smaller size. He was so thought full asked me good questions, gave me a number of options. I wish I had his name? If I had a bussiness I would hire him!! L.L. Bean is top shelf.

I purchased these boots more than 15 years ago and have finally worn them out. I fully expect these boots to be the last I'll buy for another 15!

They are comfortable, waterproof and just the boot to take my dog on walks in the field when it's raining and the field is wet. I was getting tired of wet shoes. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe so I ordered a 9 but it was too big. I returned those w/o any hassle and ordered an 8 and that was the right size! So be careful when ordering so you get the right size that fits. I highly recommend the 6" boot they are just right. I would buy them again!!!

Boots are great. Sizing and returns to get correct sizes are terrible. Even their recommendation to "order one size down" is wrong. I wear an 11 in all shoes. After two returns I am now in a size 9 in these boots with plenty of room with thick socks. Could save themselves and their customers a lot of headache by just sizing them correctly. That way are don't have to be special sizing instructions and dealing with returns.

I have worn these boots all day on several occasions and they provide all day support and comfort.

These boots are exactly what the doctor ordered. W did also buy a set of fuzz liners, and now my feet stay dry and want. They do run large, I brought a size smaller than I normally wear and they were perfect.

Perfect for walking through light, slushy snow. Built like a tank.

These boots are everything you'd expect. Quality, durable, and classic. The best!

These replaced a pair about 15 years old. Good quality . I wear a 9D shoe but had to buy a 8M in this boot to get the correct fit. Get boot for wet snow days for for running to the store or clearing show under 3 inches. Good in summer for working in the yard with wet grass.

A man wearing 9-9.5 men's boots. The men's size was not available but Customer Service helped me suggesting a 10B woman's boot which fit perfectly. I would have preferred to order my centuries old 6" boot with no straps or laces, but NLA. I like'em!

This is an amazing company. I sent shoes back because I bought the wrong size for Christmas. I sent them back the day after Christmas and it took them less than two weeks to get them back to us. It was impeccable service. I love L.L. Bean.

My husband loved this gift I followed the sizing advice snd he is a big man's with wide feet snd difficult instep. He wears 13 extra wide in sketchers and the 12 EEW worked well. The leather tab at the back eliminates the need for a shoehorn.
