For perhaps 70 years of my purchasing of LL Bean products, I've never been let me down.; and these boots are just another example. Excellent fit, quality, comfort...essentially all I expected. It's heartwarming to know of a company on which I can depend for all my outdoor and other needs. Thank you, LL Bean (and Sean, who made these!).

These classics are still the best pair of boots for walking the dog through wet woods and fields. Comfortable, sturdy, and stylish in their own way.

I never buy any footwear without feeling them on my feet first. But I took a chance with these, and I am soooo glad I did. First let me say the size is weird but just follow the suggestion on their site. I wear a 9.5 in almost all shoes, and I primarily wear Brooks. So, LL Bean suggested for these I get an 8 EE, which I thought was crazy, but I did and they fit perfectly. FYI - see the picture of the 8 EE size Bean Boot next to my other 9.5 size shoe. And they are so comfortable, so warm. We got a big snowstorm the day they arrived and I was so stupidly excited to try them out. And the temps were 17 degrees, windchill was 8 and my feet were cozy warm while snow blowing and shoveling even with thin socks. I love these boots. I hope this helps someone, especially on the size. Another great thing: MADE IN MAINE, USA. Woo-hoo! Anyway, I love my Bean Boots, and I bet you will too. Peace and Love.

I lost the pair that I had since the 80's in a cross-country move. It's great to have them back. Same great boot and same great customer service. Tip: definitely order one size lower.

We bought these boots for our kids and significant others for Christmas. I'm excited to gift these. They all arrived packaged so well and with a personal touch.

I have been a loyal LL Bean customer for 40 years. I still have my original pair of 6" bean boots that must be 35 years old. I worn them for camping, fishing, all kinds of wet, muddy, snowy weather and kept me dry and comfortable. They are as comfortable as a tennis shoe and offer great support when using an extra insert. I take great care of them using the LL Bean Bootwax. I'm a huge fan and own several more versions of the 6" and 8" LL bean boots. Highly recommend them!

I bought the uninsulated 6" bean boot in 2022 and absolutely love it. I wanted the shearling interior but was worried it would be "too hot" for much of the year. The perfect compromise....get the uninsulated standard boot for $139, but purchase the shearling insert for only a few bucks more. Perfection! comfortable...warm but not too warm. Perfect !!!!

First time on...no breaking in...they feel great, warm and safe on the snow and ice.

I purchased these because I needed a higher top boot. The mocs I purchased from Bean 3 years ago have been great, but too many hay bits, dirt etc get into them while doing chores at my place. These 6" tops are perfect for keeping debris out. I LOVE them. I also purchased a spare set of insoles which fit my wide boots perfectly and actually appear to be the exact same as those in the new boots.

Great for snow, rain and flooded curb crossings!

These boots are comfortable, rugged and repairable. I had a pair for 20 years with 3 or 4 re-soles before a housefire took them...this pair is my replacement and barring other disasters...my last pair!

These are amazing boots. The quality and craftsmanship are well worth the money. Keeps your feet dry all day in comfort.

Just as advertised. Waterproof when walking through wet grass. Glad I read reviews as this is sized large, I ordered a size smaller than usual and they fit perfectly, nice and wide doesn't cramp foot, nice cushion insole make them very comfortable. The uppers are a little uncomfortable around the ankles, figure they will break in over time. Some noted the tread was slick on some surfaces, I do agree, I noticed when wet on painted concrete surfaces the need to be a little careful. I assume the same may be true on a rocky trail. But for my use these work great. Quality and workmanship appears very good, expect them to last for a long time, overall well worth the money.

These boots are perfect for my son to wear on his college campus. Comfortable to walk in and to stay warm as the cooler temperatures set in.

Bought my bean boots almost a decade ago! These are my favourite winter boots!! They should start making the dae brown boots!! Would look great with black jeans for casual wear while still great to do yard work, shovel snow, etc. Christmas is coming, make it grand!!

Purchased this for my husband and he started wearing them immediately. They are perfect for getting into and out of quickly and very comfortable to walk in.

Best boot/shoe for wet climatic outdoor work or hunting. On second pair although first one is 4 years old and still ticking

Today my bean boots arrived, they fit me perfectly, tomorrow I will start using them daily, I work in the pool industry in Ave Maria Florida and for me it is important to keep my feet dry

A classic item from LL Bean. I splurged for the real deal. The quality was as expected. I haven't worn them in inclimate conditions since it we are into warmer spring weather here, but hopefully when I do, they will be leak free and warm.

Very pleased with the workmanship. I have a pair of 25+ year old 10 inch Bean Boots which finally need new bottoms. The 6" boots will be a temporary replacement when old boots are at Beans being reconditioned.
