Nice boots, but the advice to order.two sizes smaller wasn't true in my case. I had to send them back and get my true size. I've wanted this style boot for over 30 years so I finally bought the genuine article. Very nicely made like all of their items and I'm glad to finally have a pair.

Wow, the first time I put them on I loved them. I don't want to wear anything else.

I bought these for a friend for Christmas and he loves them. He went to prep school at Kent on the East Coast and always wanted a pair. He said they are comfortable and perfect for the weather we've had so far this year. He is still thanking me!

I wear these boots for everything, yard work, rain, snow. I don't need to tie them up because they fit perfectly and it lets me slide them on and off easily when coming inside covered in mud so I don't track it all over the house. I also own a pair of higher Bean Boots for deep snow but I usually just grab these. LLBeans quality and customer service are unmatched. I recently sent them in for repairs for a small fee and the boots were returned like new. I will always own a pair of these boots.

What can I say, great boots, quick break in. While they are new, I am wearing them to work.

These are so nice but way too big and wide. I had to return.

Just bought these boughts a few days ago and wore them in a downpour for the first time today. The're replacing Sperry boots. The Bean boots kept my feet perfectly drive, and are very comfortable! One thing worth noting, as the product notes say, order a full size smaller than usual. I always buy 9.5 in shoes, in fact I have the Bean sneaker boots in a 9.5 and they fit perfectly. For these boots, I ordered an 8.5 and I'm glad I did. There's a little extra room so if I want to wear a second pair of socks I can. Excellent purchase! Mike

I have worn bean boots only for work the last 7 years. They see it all and they last longer than any boot I've ever tried, even boots that were much more expensive. I usually get about 6-9 months out of a pair that I use for work which is great in my opinion. The last pair I bought I noticed some differences and now 2 months later they are trashed and need to be replaced. Heel is blown out on both shoes stitching on back loops came off after 1 month. I was about to try another boot, but I will give my trusty beans another chance.

These boots are very durable, water resistant, and wear well.

Be sure to order your boot size, One size down from your normal size you wear. LL Bean suggests this when you order, I did and the boot fits great.

These boots are indestructible. I can't remember how long I have them, probably 25 years, but they are still going strong. They are now my lawn working boots.

I find I wear my Bean boots everyday as I take a morning walk with my lab in a dew soaked field. I don't know how old my shoes are but i think 15-20 years. Today i decided to put some mink oil on the tops along with a newer pair I bought when I sent this pair in for repairs---that has been almost two years ago. I can't tell them apart. There is virtually no wear on the soles as most all of my use is in fields. There is no reason a person should ever buy such a boot from anyone other than Bean. Great quality. great service.

Works great for my needs--keeps my feet dry for daily walk in wet grass of southern Louisiana, also comfortable, durable .

This is our third pair over several years and will continue to purchase. My husband works in construction and wears these to work. We live in Mississippi and he wears them year round. He says they are comfortable and keep his feet dry. I have a pair for women and love them for outdoor activities. My husband wears a size 10. I would recommend these to anyone.

This is my second pair ... my first pair is into its fifth decade ... why did I wait so long to buy another pair? The low-cut style truly is a different experience altogether -- much more suitable for daily domestic use than for long days working or playing outdoors. Telephone assistance from a patient, knowledgeable, and delightful person named Melanie is the reason why I chose, by online order, this size. Always risky to order footwear online, but these are a perfect fit. Quality is as great as ever -- as great, I'm sure, as the originals made by LL himself way back in the days of old Freeport. Way to go, LL Bean. The best boots in the world.

This is my son's second pair of Bean Boots. They are built to last and keep your feet dry!
