I had sent my LL Bean Boots for a re-sole and other minor repairs from Canada to the US after having used the boots for many years. After the repairs were done within the stipulated, I received them back and was pleasantly surprised that they looked as good as new. Thank you LL Bean, I look forward to using these 'new' boots for many more years to come (and at a fraction of the price).

so far these boots are as comfortable as my old Bean boots and they lasted for almost 40 years. I'm 72 years old now so the new ones don't have to last that long but I bet I can pass them on to the next generation!

These are made to fit with room in front of your toe. This room helps you retain warmth. The boots are very comfortable.

Great fit, replaced a pair bought 18 years ago. Will most likely be buried in this pair!!! LOL

I normally do not write reviews. But I felt like I needed to share my pleasure. I have a 6 inch pair. It's my first pair of bean boots. I love them. And the stitching was coming apart in a few areas. I decided to send them to L.L Bean for repairs. I was absolutely impressed and satisfied with their craftsmanship and customer service. New insoles. New laces. New outsoles. They look like brand new boots. And they even personally called me before repairs were started to be sure of the defects. Such a personable gesture. I will recommend LL Bean to everyone! Thank you for the great work

I ordered these and they weren't quite perfect, so I returned them for EE and now they're perfect.

Love the classic quality in a proven rain boot. My third pair of Bean boots since the 1980s, one pair that I still wear. Nothing beats the Bean boot for long lasting reliability. Note: buy one size smaller than your normal size and they'll fit perfectly.

My regular is a size 13. The LLBean shoe has generous room at that size for me but works with my thicker socks. I love that they are waterproof. No other leather boot held up to where I hike.

Ive had LL Bean footwear on my feet since I was a young boy and know they are a reliable choice. I work construction in a similar pair every day in muddy conditions and they are not only comfortable but durable enough to withstand a workday in any environment. Well worth the investment that should hold up to the test of time like my other pairs.

This is my sixth pair of bean made in America boots of different styles, I like all of them some are older, but still fit and wear very well, I've had other brands ,but LL bean are superior to the other brands.

I followed the size recommendations and my boots fit perfectly. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Hard to find a quality boot like these anywhere anymore. 2nd pair I've purchased. wont live long enough to wear this pair out.

I bought these to wear when I walked the dogs. I use them as slip-ons by having the laces tied loosely. They are comfortable, light weight and have high quality.

I buy these boots every 3 years. (I wear them a lot).Of all of the brands available these are the best, especially if you can buy them on sale.

Fit perfect and very comfortable. I had a pair from another brand, but these are so much better. Plus, made in the USA.

Bought my Bean boots in 1988 when I as a freshman in college. Resoled multiple times. This time the uppers were chewed up by our new puppy. Called by a representative who genuinely cared that I cared about my cherished 35+ year old boots and discussed what was actually possible to fix and they did it! I appreciate the personal service, speaking to a real person and the fact that it could have been suggested to "just buy new ones" because it would be a lot of work to fix. Furthermore, the repair cost was nearly nothing.

I can see how LLBean became so popular with this boot! Mine are the uninsulated style so I can adjust my warmth with the thickness of my socks. They're the most versatile, comfortable and functional footwear I've ever owned. I love the look of them too. I bought these for cutting and clearing wood this winter in the cold sloppy northern Michigan winter weather. Walking in the 30/35 melting snow was soaking my"waterproof" footwear in less than an hour. Changing shoes and socks 2 or 3 times to get a days work done was getting old and very annoying. I bought these and some heavy "Smart wool" socks like LLBean recommended to wear inside of them. I now work all day long with comfortable dry feet! These are not big and bulky either so I am not tripping over them. I bought 1 size smaller than I wear in a regular shoe and they fit amazingly well. I don't understand how they do it but I can step into them with no socks and untied laces like slippers to step out the back door with my dogs and they fit almost as well as they do with the heavy wool socks in them. I know I'm going to be able to wear these this summer when it's sloppy outside also. They're like magic! Another great thing is the comfort of the gum rubber sole and the chain style tread. It's comfortable and doesn't hold dirt so you almost never track in dirt with these if you scrub them off at the door. There is really too many positives to list with these boots. I wish I would have bought them 40 years ago. They are my best LLBean purchase ever. I just bought another pair for having at my cabin in the 8" uninsulated style and another pair of 6" for my son. If they last like many people have said they do I'll probably only be buying more for gifts for friends and family.

Boots were first ordered in my normal size (11), too long, so returned them and got size 10 . They are perfect with medium wool socks.
