The ordering process was very easy. Instructions on how to choose a size that was appropriate were spot on, even down to what type of sox you would wear with these boots. Solid construction, comfortable, and waterproof. Nothing less than expected from LL Bean.

I love these boots. I have a pair and I love them so much that I had to purchase my boyfriend a pair. Great boot for any occasion.

These boots are fantastic. This is my second pair, having reluctantly replaced my last pair that I purchased in 2010. The quality is high, they look great, and they're extremely comfortable. I recommend going one size down from what size you normally wear. If you are looking for a pair of high quality boots for a good price, then look no further. Thank you LL Bean!

The inside ridge connecting the leather to rubber came right under my ankle bone, giving me a sore on both. Solved the problem by adding an additional sole insert from a pair of my shoes. Also, I have a slim foot; sides under bow at top of boot almost touch.

Boots have just been received and they do fit perfectly. Weather has been dry and hot so I have not worn them much yet. I have no doubt that these boots will suit my needs perfectly. I will update this review after I have worn them more.

I'd recommend these to anyone. Look great and will last for years.

These boots are amazing and I love them. I normally wear a 9 to 9.5 in men's shoes and I ordered an 8 in men's and they fit perfectly. I ordered medium width and that's perfect for me. Not too slim, not too wide.

Fits great, I thought since I wore a size 11 a 10 would be to small but turns out I could literally wear a 9, great product can't wait to wear for fall!!!

I called to order these boot and needed assistance on the sizing of the boots. The lady that helped me was extremely knowledgeable and the boots fit perfectly. The boots are extremely well made and I will order again when the need arises.I also had ordered the thick socks and they were of the best quality. I ordered the boots on a Monday and they arrived on a Thursday. I live in Georgia and thought this was extremely fast shipping. I had used LLBean items in the past, when there wasn't any computer online ordering, but had to use the catalogs. I always received my correct order then and it was also shipped promptly. These are my husband's year round "go to" boots. This is his second pair having worn out the ones he bought years ago.

Living in the Lowcountry of SC with all the water, rain, humidity you need quality footwear. My first pair of these lasted 25 years. Everybody is always talking about fit with these boots. I have wide size 9.5 duck foot!! I can wear everything from a 9-10 depending on the shoe/boot. I usually wear a 9.5. I ordered size 9. Perfect fit!! I even called to get a smaller size but the Representative said try the 9 first. She was right!! They might feel tight but over time they will loosen up. Awesome quality!! Best boot you will ever own......!!!!

I got these boots after a similar pair from a different source developed a large crack in the rubber after only 4 months of wear. I walk my dog thru a field of wet grass every morning and got tired of coming home with wet feet. These keep my feet dry and comfortable and I like the fact that they lace up. I usually wear a size 10 but since reading that these run large I got a size 9 and they fit fine. Would definitely recommend these to a friend.

I have wide feet so I'm restricted to wide sizing (9 wide) or upsizing (anywhere between 9.5 to 10.5 regular). Followed the sizing note on the page and ordered a 8 wide and it fits perfectly (still has extra toe room), even with heavyweight socks. Extremely pleased with my purchase.

Both my teenage sons have these boots which are great! I love the fact that the boots can be hosed off to remove mud. After a quick rinse they still look and feel brand new.

Does exactly what I need, as I walk along our hike and bike train walking my dog in what is frequently very wet, high grass. I plan on taking them with me on my cruise to Alaska, for the hiking a trail in Canda. The fit is large, even with thick socks, so I probably should have ordered at least a half size smaller.

High quality components, time-tested design, American made, and outstanding customer service made my decision to buy this boot easy. They are well worth the wait. I'm fortunate to have an LL Bean retail store nearby, and while they were out of this specific boot, I was able to try on some other boots made by Bean so I could be assured I was buying the correct size online. I usually wear a size 11, but in the store a size 10 fit perfectly, so that's what I ordered. The size 10 fits perfectly, even with a mid-weight sock. They'll fit fine with a heavy-weight sock when winter comes again. I bought them for late fall through spring because they're water proof and the tread, while providing excellent traction, doesn't hold the snow, so you don't track it in when you come inside. Keep the leather oiled and these should last for years.

I have had a pair of these for 4 years. I wear them to work out side or to go to baseball games when it is cold outside, I love the boots, My kids got bigger and started wearing my boots, They loved them also, So I just purchased two pair for them and the wife asked where is mine. I can't recommend a better product. They are comfortable, affordable and last a long time, They can take working around the house when weed eating, cutting grass or digging holes, My feet are always warm. I did add an insert too make them fit tighter when I am not wearing thicker socks, The only down side is you can not order them at Christmas they are out of stock or back ordered so order now and a size or size and a half smaller.

I use these for working in a tire shop. I do a lot of stopping and turning on a roughly finished concrete floor. These hold up better than any other shoe I've ever tried and they're also very comfortable. I just wore a pair of these down to the soles (Every other part of the shoe looks < 10% worn). I bought a second pair so I can send the first in to get resoled. They're very comfortable. They're waterproof even in snow and rain puddles as long as you lace them up tight. Highly recommend if you can't seem to get boots that are comfortable and last a while. These do run very large though. I wear a 12.5 in sneakers and the 11's fit me pretty well.
