They keep my feet dry and fit great. I did order them them 2 sizes smaller than normal. They mention that they should be ordered small. I use them a lot around the yard.

It's the ideal boot for wet weather, and all other conditions. If you don't like high boots, this one is for you. It's comfortable, you can order the right width for your foot, and it protects you against water and the elements. It even is good for casual everyday wear. I love the boot. You have to buy a size smaller.

These fit as expected after reading the review to "size down" one size as they tend to run large. They fit well, feel great and hold up to the conditions.

This is my 3rd boot that I use around the yard during the monsoon season in Hawaii, I am very pleased with the boot. I purchased another one for my secondary home in Florida, I use this great boot for the yard and it is a great item during the hurricane season.

I purchased the 6" boots for a last minute cruise to Alaska. The boots made my trip a great success. We had many days of rain and nasty weather and the boots kept my feet warm and dry the whole time. The boots did not need a break in period, they felt like an old pair of slippers right out of the box. I purchased the boots a week before my trip, knowing that L.L. Bean would get them to me in time for my trip, the boots came in time but there was a problem with one of the laces, a bad tip, so I called for help and the customer service department responded and sent me a new pair of laces in time for my trip. This was not a surprise because of my many years with L.L. Bean they have always stood behind their products. The Customer service group should get a GOLD STAR for their super service. This is one of the few companies that believe their Customer service group really provides Customer Service!

Excellent LLBean quality, speedy delivery and I would definitely recommend this shoe.

The boots were sized exactly as the catalog stated. It only took a few wearings for the tongue to conform to my foot. The are very comfortable to wear.

I wear size 11 1/2 in most shoes so I took the recommendation and ordered this boot in size 10. That size is just right. My foot moves around very, very slightly in the boot while I'm wearing a normal athletic sock. The fit will be perfect with a heavier sock. Can't comment on the durability of the boots since they're still new but they were comfortable out of the box and definitely waterproof. A very good purchase.

Comfort and fit are unbelievable. I work in Cranberry bogs and active on the Massachusetts coast. The waterproofing is wonderful, and the tread holds up great when walking on steep grassy banks. Great for all day comfort and performance.

I wore these boots during my childhood when I lived in the North . My son is going to Pennsylvania for graduate school and we live in the south now. He loves these boots . Perfect height and they fit great. Made in USA which he also likes.

Excellent product! Very well made, completely waterproof. They do run large, so best to order 1 size smaller than you typically wear. I did that, and the fit is great.

Most comfortable boots I ever owned. Keep my feet warm even in coldest weather. I love them.

I purchased my husband his 1st pair of Bean Boots after years of raving over mine. He finally said he would try them. He wears a size 14 in a regular shoe, size 15 in most tennis shoes. Ordered him the 14, and they fit great and he can also wear his thick Bean wool socks with them comfortably. They do tend to run about a size large based on true fit. Hubby owns a construction business. It rained over the weekend. He wore these since the job site was still a bit muddy. He was very happy with how easy his boots were to clean off, said they were comfortable after wearing all day, and kept his feet warm and dry. He is very happy with them.

As noted in the description, these boots run at least half size large. They were correct there. The boots are comfortable, light, and an overall nice fit.

Living on the coast, I experience very extreme weather swings. These boots are perfect for rainy/wet conditions. They also do very well in the snow. I have been wearing a pair that was passed down from my dad and, after 20 years, finally decided it was time for a new pair. Absolutely love them.

These are the best boots I have ever owned. If you work around water these are for you. I work with dogs and lots of wet ground and my socks are always dry when I take them off. I have bought many pairs of boots that say they are waterproof and after a short time my socks are wet. Save yourself some money and try these the craftsmanship is excellent very well made.

You can't go wrong with a Bean boot. They are functional, they look good and they wear nicely. And if you are into recycling, contact LL Bean and they will resole your boots (replace the rubber portion with brand new material) for less than it costs to buy new boots.

I always wanted to purchase a pair of L.L. Bean 6" boots but never did. Well, I finally did and am extremely satisfied with my boots. I followed the recommendations for sizing and they fit perfect out of the box. I wear 10 1/2 wide and ordered size 9 wide. I use medium weight socks and the boots are so comfortable that I forget that I am wearing boots. Very, very satisfied. I plan on buying an insulated pair of 10" for the winter.

These boots are iconic and a must have for any well dressed practical person. Never be caught in wet weather without them. Good fit with room for thick socks or the shearling insole. Only down side is the laces. Not sure what the heck they're made of but it was like they were stiff plastic. I just went and bought a pair of leather laces and swapped them out. All is good. My only recommendation is to go ahead and spend the extra money and get some lined boots. If you are still wondering if you should make the purchase; Just Do It! You'll be glad to have these. They are to cool weather as docksiders are to warm weather.

Bought these for my son and he loves them. He wears them everyday. They are very comfortable and fit perfect.
