So I ordered these in September based on your recommendations of size ordering as you do not make half sizes. I wear a 10.5 and I ordered a 9, when it came it was to small. Sent back and ordered a 10 and that works for me. These are well made and will serve me for a long time. I am however quite disappointed in that they are now on sale at a great savings that is not available to me.

My boyfriend loved these boots I got for his birthday. He wore them so much due to how comfortable they are.

The first and still the best. Accept no imitations. My two cents, FWIW: heed LL Bean's sizing guidelines. I usually wear an 11 but bought the size 10 and they fit perfectly. My custom orthotics also fit perfectly. I do not wear a super heavy sock with these boots. I always treat the leather with a quality conditioner to accelerate break-in and provide some water resistance to the leather. Still, there is little to no break-in with these boots. My two suggestion for Bean with these 6" boots: 1) a gusset around the top of the boot, similar to the Gum Shoe would be helpful in keeping debris out of the boot and 2) replace the top two eyelets with lace hooks. Otherwise, don't mess with a good thing. Highly recommended. Peace!!

This is a replacement pair. I have been wearing the Maine Hunting Shoe for over 40 years.

I just purchased my third pair of men's LL Bean 6" boots. I wear them for yard work and when we have snow. They keep my feet warm, dry and they are durable.

Comfortable waterproof! Best boots ever! We vacationed in The Oregon snow and these were perfect!

i have wanted a pair of these for years and at the young age of 42 I finally broke down and bought a pair. I actually caught them on sale so I felt a little better about the purchase. I then had my 20 year old son beg for a pair so I ended up buying him a pair for his birthday and he loves his also. I know it sounds crazy but i find myself looking for rain now so I can wear these boots. I cant tell you how warm and dry these boots are and you can instantly tell the quality just by seeing them on someone's feet. I STRESS, follow LL's instructions and get a size smaller.I went back and forth, ask people who had them and all that but I stuck with the factory instructions and went a size down and even then mine are a tad roomy but i love them. You will not be disappointed in this purchase!! Now all I have to do is buy a pair for my wife and daughter:)

This is a true LL Bean classic. I purchased these to replace a pair I had for many, many years. I wear a 10 1/2 street shoe; the 11 is perfect for me with medium weight/thick socks. I'm a fan and don't hesitate to recommend this boot.

They are at my door, when it rains or snows I just slide them on my feet, no more wet shoes. The 10.5 length was a little short so I ordered the 11 and with socks I could wear these all day. I put insoles in also.

Sent them back to have them resoled. Stitching was even better then when purchased new. Still soft broken in leather tops with new rubber bottoms best of both. Delivered way before I expected. Been buying from LL Bean over 50 years and they never wavier from providing excellent products and the best service in the retail industry second to none. Thank you LL Bean for sticking to original roots putting customer satisfaction first.

This is a great boot for around use. I follow the sizing recommendation and feel the boot would fit better a half size larger. It's not a bad fit it could have been better by moving up a half size.

I recieved my Bean Boots right on time and wasted no time lacing them up and wearing them out. They fit great, and are perfect for an occasion.

I've worn these in the harshest conditions. When I got them I sealed the stitching with Obenauf's LP Boot Preservative. They have taken me through mud, snow, wet, cold, floods,briars, etc. They have not let me down. I ordered true size and wear with heavy socks and they are perfect. I got the uninsulated version so I could drive without foot sweat. Great boots!

Very nice boots, leather uppers were stiff but think they may break in overall great boots, not sure about traction On ice or slippery surfaces but do like the boots

These keep my feet dry on wet muddy trails. I wear size 9 wide purchased size 8 per catalog recommendation they fit perfect room for thin liner sock plus smart wool socks also can fit toe warmers in on cold days. Easy to break in plus made in USA . GREAT BOOTS

I bought these for my son to wear to the Winter Classic 2019 at Notre Dame so that his feet would be warm and not get wet if it snowed. He wasn't sure if he would like them or if they would keep his feet warm. They worked well. I did have to order 1 size smaller since they do run big.

I buy these boots because I live in a very rainy climate on the Gulf Coast and not only do they work they are comfortable. Will get another pair for colder weather in 8" with lining.

Bean boots are the best and loved giving these as a Christmas gift. He loved them. He wears size 12 and the size 11 was perfect.

Made better and fits better than I thought these boots would. Really like them and wear them every day going to the country. Ordered 1 size smaller as they suggested and they are a perfect fit. Highly recommended.

I have the 10 in hunting shoe, 8 inch insulated & now the 6 inch. All 3 have there own purposes, depending on conditions.I work outside & the 6 inch Is great in wet weather, but more importantly everyday wear. Great product as always, LLBean is my go to store for shoes & clothing
