Made better and fits better than I thought these boots would. Really like them and wear them every day going to the country. Ordered 1 size smaller as they suggested and they are a perfect fit. Highly recommended.

I have the 10 in hunting shoe, 8 inch insulated & now the 6 inch. All 3 have there own purposes, depending on conditions.I work outside & the 6 inch Is great in wet weather, but more importantly everyday wear. Great product as always, LLBean is my go to store for shoes & clothing

As with most LL Bean products, I was very pleased with these boots. They're a good height to keep socks dry in heavy rain or snow, but not as bulky as the larger boot. I wear a 10-1/2 shoe, but the website directed me to order size 9, and it fits perfectly.

Initially, I couldn't get the size 7W on easily! Tweaked the size, from a 7 to a 8, and all is right with the world. THESE boots are NOT for the birds, LOL! (See pic : )

Great product second pair of Bean boots. If you expect top quality good service and long lasting products the Bean boot is it.

I don't quite get the "buy one size smaller" but it's accurate in terms of sizing. I wear a 10 and this 9 fits perfectly. It's ideal for what I was looking for: functional in smaller amounts of snow and works great in the rain. Very comfortable fit and like most LL Bean products, a good value.

I purchased these as a Christmas present for my son. I went by the recommendation in the size chart and when he opened them he told me I bought the wrong size. I told him to try them and reluctantly he did. And they fit perfect! He loved them. Thanks for the good advice.

My dads bean boots were almost 30-years-old and it was time for a new pair. I decided to purchase him the boots as his Christmas present. He was very excited and happy that they fit the same as they did all those years ago. According to him the size 9 was true to size (length & width). He is happy he can have these for another 30 years!

For years I have seen tons of people wear these boots around, but I never could find a pair exactly like what I've seen. Last year I found them but I decided to wait, and I'm so glad I decided pull the trigger on them this year! I normally wear an 11, so I ordered a size 10 which is what the instructions say in it fits about perfect. They are very comfortable and stylish to wear with anything from jeans to khaki pants! Great boots, lifetime customer!

I have wide feet and hate having my toes feel confined. Knowing that these run big, I ordered EE in one size larger. I've now inserted lambs wool thick sole inserts; and, wonderful, the extra size is filled in but the desired extra width remains. Warmer, too. Very pleased.

After seeing the sizing recommendations, I was a little concerned. Man was I wrong. Fits like a glove.

I wear these at work. I work outdoors in Charleston, S.C. where it rains often. They are super comfortable and are holding up well. I bought an 8 after reading reviews about the sizes running 1-2 sizes large. It was a good move. I usually wear a 9.5 and the 8 is a little large still. Besides the weird sizing these boots are the shiznit

Great boots. Great fit. I wear 8 1/2 shoes. Order a 7 in the boots and they fit perfectly with heavy socks. Do follow the fitting instructions. They look great and no need to pre treat them. In my opinion heavy socks are what should be used with these boots.

Have only worn these once for a few hours and they were very comfortable. As the description says, these do run large, so I ordered 1 size down in length and the size 8's are just about perfect. Width-wise I normally wear EEEE but that width is not offered in these, so took a chance and ordered the EE width, which seems ok and not too tight. Couldn't decide whether to order this 6" height boot or the 8" ones but think the shorter length will work fine for me. Quality, stitching, etc., seems very good.

Boot arrived just in time for the largest December snowstorm in Piedmont North Carolina in 50 years! The boots are great in ice and snow! Usually winter here is just wet and cold. So these boots will work great for that. I was a little skeptical about ordering a size down, but they fit well. So far, so good.

I do have have these boots in various heights for various different purposes. Very well made and durable. These are a second time purchase. The first ones lasted 15+. Used mostly through MN winters. Used for short hikes and knocking around town.

My wife and I have 6 pairs total of bean boots and they are great. We have slip ons for around town etc and lace ups for fishing and hunting.The 8 inch lace ups have become my fav late season pheasant boots lately after years of much stiffer upland style boots. We also appreciate the fact that their U.S. made and have a long legacy. I've always followed beans advice to order one size smaller than your normal shoe size with good results. Ll bean as a whole is a great company and a bit better than most of the competition especially their clothing. Also the 25% off sales with free shipping are hard to resist!

There are many boots available on the market today, but very few that can match the performance and longevity of the Bean Boot. I have a pair of the 8" boots that I bought 20 years ago. They are used every winter and provide unmatched performance: quality, warmth, waterproof, etc. I recently purchased the 6" boot and expect the same out of them. When other people have cold wet feet, you will be comfortable and dry. Made in Maine means something!

These boots are everything I hoped they'd be. They're versatile, look great, and can weather all conditions. They do run very big, as you may have heard. I'm typically a size 11.5 or 12, and I did end up having to get a 10. But once I figured that out, all was well. These are fantastic.

I have been finally using these boots for their intended purpose. Yes, I chose the incorrect size first time I ordered, but got it straight. Back to the boots, I used them a few times in and after rain storms and cold weather. Nice dry feet and decent traction. It made it easier for me to walk. With the recent snow (and ice), things were no more slippery than my normal boots. My feet are still warm and dry and I could go where I need to. In my opinion, well worth the price and I look forward of my years walking my dog and shoveling snow in them.

My last pair of Bean boots lasted many, many years so in the long run the price for the boots is very reasonable. I originally ordered a size nine in spite of the warning that these boots run a bit large. I should have heeded the warning. I sent the size nines back and got the size eights in a few days. They fit fine although it might be useful to make the boots available in half sizes.

The best walking the trail shoes I have ever owned. I have put many many miles on them in a few weeks, in some very wet Adirondack weather, and have not had a wet foot.

Visited your store in October 2018, which is awesome. My husband has been wearing L.L. Bean boots for a long time. He loves them. Great quality.
