I have had mine for just over two years and have put well over 2000 walking miles on them. This is not "street walking". It is woodland trail, bushwacking, mud, water, brush and rock.I weigh 240 lb., so these boots get a work out with every step. They are still very useable. Heels are worn and leather separated a little on one shoe from the rubber bottom. I re cemented the leather which took care of that. I know I will get many more miles out of them. Great boots and more than well worth the cost.

After exchanging a pair with a sharp edge on one of the eyelets, my feet were good to go. I placed my orthotics inside, and have been doing some hefty projects with the Bean Boots. They are holding up fine and staying a bit dirty, but my feet are not.
Will probably be asking Bean for another pair of insoles before these boots have their first birthday.

I have had my 6" Bean boots for about 10 years and they are still going strong. I would buy another pair but these are still in good shape, at least from a utilitarian perspective. I am very tough on them, and they come through like a champ. Stitching is still perfect, minimal wear on sole even though they are worn nearly every day in winter (dog walking, log splitting, clearing brush and blackberries, fishing, hunting, hard-core yard work...). Leather is worn as you would expect it to be. I waterproof the stitching as needed and they keep my feet dry even in Puget Sound rain. Just a great boot as far as I am concerned, in addition to tough they are comfy. Assuming they are still made the same, I recommend without reservation.

These are the prettiest boots I have ever owned. I haven't had them long enough to know about the quality but they seem nice.

I ordered the Bean Boots with the new green sole. They look amazing and fit great. I usually wear a size 10 1/2 loafer and ordered a sized 10 Bean Boot. They fit perfectly with medium to thin socks, and are snug with thick socks on.

Among the LL Bean Collection, these unlined 6" boots are the most comfortable, versatile, very good looking; yet underrated. These 6" boots are not just great in snow, but in rain in all seasons.

Great fit. I wear a 13AA and boots are hard to find that are not wide. Narrow, but good fit for me. Room in toe as not to feel pressed. Order mentioned to order smaller size than you normally order, in my case, 13 Narrow is just what I need.

I've had Bean boots going back to the 80s when I lived in New England. This is a great quality product. Try them. You won't be disappointed.

I needed a light-weight pair of boots that would keep my feet and socks dry when volunteering at the local dog rescue shelter. A co-worker there showed me her LLBean 6-inch boots, and she raved about them. I was particularly pleased to find that they were available in narrow width (a perennial problem for me). They fit perfectly right out of the box, and I have been happily using them daily ever since. I and my four-legged friends thank you!

The standard lace up configuration can be customized so these iconic boots can be slipped on and off all through the white/mud/slop seasons up here in the mountains. Perfect product.

I'm a 10 1/2 and ordered the full size plus down to a 9. It sort-of fit, but it didn't feel right. Took it to a retail location and compared to the 10, which was MUCH better. LL Bean retail location processed the re-order and the correct size was sent to my home. Very happy with my purchase.

The first thing I noticed out of the box, was the beautiful leather. They are what I expected of LL Bean boots. Craftsmanship and quality! A very comfortable boot. LL would be proud!

This is the second pair of Bean boots I have purchased. I bought these so I could get my old ones resoled. The new ones are of equal quality of those I purchased approximately 12 years ago. I appreciate LL Beans commitment to quality and that these great products are still made in Maine by true craftsmen and women

I have had these boots for a year and a half, and have put well over 1000 walking miles on them. The heels are worn a bit, as you would expect. The upper leather began to separate from the rubber bottoms, but some glue easily fixed that. I am totally satisfied with these 6" boots. I weigh well over 200 lb, so these boots get a real workout. I know I will get another year out of them. They are well worth the cost!

This was my first time purchasing a Duck Boot, so I looked around for the best ones and in my looking I always came back to the LL BEAN BOOT so I decided that it was gonna be the LL BEAN BOOT I was truly Amazed how it looked on foot and felt on foot This shoe is a must have in your closet for that inclement weather when it comes your way it's truly a good price for a very well made boot I would totally recommend this boot to all that was in the search of a GOOD LASTING BOOT FOR ONLY OVER A 100 YEARS

I love my Bean boot; it's why I ordered a new pair to replace the one I was offered for my Birthday in 2011. Yes, I have had a pair since 2011 and it still works if it was not for the rubber sole that got used over time and lost part of its height. I have worn my shoes in various places as Montreal-Quebec, Toronto-Ontario, Detroit-Michigan, Atlanta-Georgia, Paris-France and Brazzaville-Congo, during hot or cold weather and they suit me just fine.

I first bought my boots in the 1990's when I lived in Vermont. Wore them often in the snow and mud. Have moved from Vermont but these are my go to boots to slip on for any wet weather and walks with the dogs. Have had the same pair resoled twice by LL Bean and the original leather uppers still going strong in 2020. I love the quality of these boots and all LL Bean clothes. Great to see in today's world that local quality products still thriving. Great job LL Bean!

Quality is excellent and the soles are grippy on wet surfaces. I ordered a 9 and they have plenty of room for thick socks and a good insert. An 8.5 would of worked as well. Order one size smaller if you are between sizes.

I have wanted these boots for a while, so I finally decided to do it. I ordered them, but unfortunately my first pair were not sealed properly. LL Bean's amazing customer service sent me a new pair. I have worn them in a few storms at this point and they are great. They are surprisingly comfortable. Since I have the unlined boots, I was not prepared for the coldness that you feel around the toes if you've been outside for a while. It almost feels like the boot is leaking, but it is not. They are everything I thought they would be and I know that I will have them for a very long time. I suggest breaking them in first before you wear them in the real world for the first time. I am very happy with this purchase!
