This coat is warm and so light weight! I love the longer length. The hood is adjustable. There's an inside pocket and it has a duel zipper. It's well worth the cost.

So warm and cozy but not bulky. I also love the length and the warmth from the hood. I live in upstate NY and this is the nicest looking warm coat I've ever had.

I love the light weight of the coat, not bulky like my old jacket. . I was impressed with the warmth of the coat. I like the color, Gunmetal Gray. I recently was out in below zero weather riding in a car and had to turn the car heater lower. The slim design of the coat made me feel trimmer. The hood lays flat when not in use, which is most comfortable. I like the inside pocket for putting my winter hat, so I don't lose it. Pocket is good for my phone. I am petite 5ft 1in, 150 pounds. I purchased a reg size, large because I wanted room to be able to wear a pullover sweater underneath. This is my very first coat purchase from LLBean. I was glad I made the trip to the store to try on several sizes. I am a senior citizen. Chicago winter, here I come!

My husband bought me this coat for a Christmas gift. It is warm, comfortable, and looks great whether I'm wearing to work or to run errands or to go out for dinner. It's lightweight and it has been nice not to have to wear a bulky jacket to stay warm in our Northern New York cold January weather. I love the length as well since it adds a layer between cold car seats and my legs.

L.L. Bean stayed true to its core with this item - the quality as a whole is just perfect! It is worth your money. Although I usually purchase Petite sizes, the Regular Small worked for me. I was out for an hour in a windy, dry, 25 degree weather and this coat kept me warm the entire time. I have to mention that I specifically worn a light long sleeves t-shirt underneath to test the coat. I hope the company pays attention to these reviews and consider suggestions for future products or to improve an existing one, which I would suggest to add two more packets outside. I have a similar coat with 4 packets outside from J. Crew but obviously the quality of this item is way better. You will not be disappointed with this coat. I have been an L.L. Bean customer for 17 yrs now and have never been disappointed with their products.

A neatly tailored and ultra warm coat. Fits well and all aspects such as pockets and zippers beautifully executed.

I LOVE this coat! It is everything LL Bean Promises: lightweight, warm, comfortable, stylish. The down pattern slims me (even over a heavy sweater) and the gunmetal gray color looks great (I have "summer" skin tones and don't look good in black). I'm so glad I bought it!

I am thrilled with my new down coat! I love everything about it! It is much lighter than the down coats I have worn in the past. I have been very pleased with my coat and jacket purchases from L.L. Bean over the years, and when I decided it was time for a new coat I only looked at them. Love the color, too - dark plum. It fits perfectly - Large Regular - I am about 5'7'' and 138 pounds. Wonderful purchase!

This coat is so warm and not to bulky. I was concerned that it would be to bulky to drive in. It's perfect.

Bought this for my wife who wanted a new down jacket without the bulk. It's super light weight and compact but as warm or warmer than other more rugged down jackets. She loves it!

I LOVE this down coat. It is warm, stylish and not too bulky. I have had a few feathers pop out, my suggestion is to push them back in, don't try to pull them out. I learned the hard way and have a small hole in my brand new coat. I got the charcoal gray and I like the color but am a little disappointed that it looks like slate blue in most light. Despite the color/feathers, it's a great coat and I'm very happy with it.

I LOVE this coat. I live in New England and need the warmth but love that it's so lightweight! It ran large so I had to return the size medium for the small, which was perfect. (I'm 5'8" 140 lbs) The hood is not overly 'poofy' and lays nicely on the back of the coat but is so toasty for our winter walks. I don't even need a scarf because it zips up tight to my chin keeping my neck warm and the wind off.

I LOVE this coat! It is light and not bulky, but warm and comfortable. I have had many compliments on it, and at least 2 of my friends are headed over to our new LL Bean store to try on and hopefully buy.
