I bought the longer version of this coat. Liked it so much I bought the shorter version. It's a warm coat but doesn't weight a ton. What is great it folds In it's own pouch which is great for traveling

I ordered a large thinking that with heavier winter sweaters that might be a better choice, but it was too large overall. It is lightweight coat, well made, warm and looked good except for the size. I plan on re-ordering the medium.

I loved this coat and wanted to keep it; it is very warm and cozy. Unfortunately, the outer fabric is extremely delicate and ripped very easily, resulting in a loss of insulation. The durability of this coat needs to be improved.

I was so amazed at how light weight this coat is and how slim fitting it looks on, while still providing that protection from the elements. Too, it feels great. I can move it in without feeling restricted by the down. I am thrilled I chose this length. It's the nicest gift I've given myself in a very long time. A down coat isn't something you buy every day - this coat will probably outlast me. Also...I love the machine wash and dry capability!!

I got this for my mom . She likes that it feels light but keeps her warm without feeling restricted by bulk.

Beautifully constructed. Dark Plum is a very pretty color. Coat slides on very easily. Love the two zippers. Glad to have a hood I can adjust. Am very happy with it. Am between a medium and large, but glad I chose the roominess of the large so I can layer whatever I want under it. Well worth the price.

This lightweight but warm coat truly encompasses "you get what you pay for". Stylish length, zippered pockets and quality cuffs. Perfect!

Super light weight yet keeps you warm and stylish. I have always wanted a long coat and I should have gotten one sooner. Better late then never.

This coat is well-made, with a good zipper that also unzips from the bottom for ease in walking. It is very lightweight, but I don't find it all that warm. I would compare it to a long down sweater, which is handy but I need a warmer coat for colder days. The hood is well-shaped and cozy. The coat runs large. I am aways an XS in clothes, and the XS in this coat is generous, and I can easily wear a fleece jacket underneath it.

The size advice says I should wear SMALL, but I wore MEDIUM with sweaters & jackets under it in very cold weather. It could be dressed up or down and was extremely comfortable & practical, even rather elegant. I wore it several years before suddenly the zipper broke. That's what cost it one star!

Fit and size great. But zipper just broke a little over a year having the coat.

The coat is light & warmer than my other similar coat. I love it!

It is very comfortable and fits well,and has kept me warm in single digit temperatures and high winds, here in Boston, this winter. So glad that I bought it just after Thanksgiving at store in Freeport. I would prefer to have a hood with fur on the outside. Does this coat come with a fur outside the hood?

Bought this coat 3 years ago and wore it constantly. The zipper broke an llbean replaced it for $30.00. No questions asked. Thank you llbean!

I bought this coat for a trip to New England, but we've had such a cold winter here in North Carolina that it's come in handy at home, too. I love the warmth and light-weight feel of the coat. The fact that the down is waterproof is a bonus. I had originally wanted blue, but it was sold out, so I got the gun metal gray instead. The color is beautiful - sort of a slightly blue and silver hue. The petite small fits me perfectly.

Warm and is very packable. The quality is outstanding and meets all of LLBean's standard.

I bought it or a trip to New York and kept me warm and dry.

Purchased this coat in December and have warn it more than expected but winter in central New York has been brutal this year. Love the coat it warm and so cozy and versatile perfect for and cold and blustery day!!

Rarely to functionality and beauty go hand in hand, but this coat does bothit arrived just before the coldest spell in the NE for decades, and it was a blessing. It kept my tropical Wife warm , and it looked lovely on her!
