We live in a really sunny area. I never go outside without a hat. This hat provides excellent sun protection to the face. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear. I have a small head and this hat came in only two sizes (if I remember correctly) which was kind of disappointing. All in all, this is an excellent hat for anyone who wants serious sun protection.

I'm a redheaded hiker and recently moved to Arizona. Your adventure hat is perfect for the sunny climate and my fair skin. Thank you so much for designing a perfect hat for a person like me!

This hat is perfect for when I go birding in the hot Texas sun. It doesn't block my view & provides just the right amount of coverage. Even though I wish the brim could be folded I will buy another in a different color.

I do not have any hair on top of my head. Living in So. California near Palm Springs it can get HOT! I have never got sun burned after hours in the sun while using this hat. I have had a couple of hats for over 6 years now. Wash and wear and no sign of falling apart, Great Hat!

I use this hat when I do landscaping work outside. In St Louis it gets hot and really humid and I usually do not like hats because they tend to make me sweat more and get hotter. This is the only hat that I wear - it protects me from the sun and is very cool to wear (meaning I do not get so hot). I keep it in my truck and it gets rough treatment but after 1 year it still look new. I bought to protect me from getting skin cancer. I recommend buying these products.

Used it for long days on the water, very comfortable and supplies plenty of shade in the blazing sun, excellent.

I bought the Women's Adventure Hat in black to wear when I have to walk between buildings at work on our campus. Not a lot of people seem to order it in black, but it goes great with the clothes I wear to the office. As some one that can get sunburned just "walking across the parking lot" this hat has been a wonderful addition to my wardrobe.

Recently I went on vacation in the Canadian Rockies, I got several compliments from people on the hikes, some wanted to know where I got the hat. I was a walking advertisement for Sunday Afternoons! The hat not only offered great sun protection, it also kept my head warm when we were hiking to high elevation where the wind was strong. The hat is easier to take on a trip and easy to clean.

I wear the adventure hat when outside and even in my car because the sunroof screen is sometimes not enough. I also have the water hat for rafting and an infant hat for my new granddaughter. I love the over the ears" brim. My daughter loves the flip up brim. and the water hat is secure enough for the most vigorous water sports."

Excellent design for most any outdoor activity. Back flap very effective at protecting neck, blocking sun; has velcro patch to hold up when not needed. Front brim reinforced to hold shape. Has vents on either side to help keep cool. excellent hat, I use mine for gardening and yard work.

I first wore one of these hats that my daughter had and loved it so much I ordered one for my husband and myself. We have a lot of sun as we live in Surprise, AZ. They are so light weight you hardly know you're wearing a hat. Would never buy any other hat.

I have had my Adventure hat for many years and it is still in great condition. I wear it on sunny days when I will be spending hours in the sun and it does a fantastic job of protecting me, as a result, my wife wanted wanted one too. In the past she had wide brimmed straw hats but this hat is lighter, less likely to blow off in the wind and is more comfortable to wear. It is also less cumbersome and easier to store so that you have it when you need it. She really likes her Adventure hat.

I just purchased my second adventure hat. My first one which I purchased a little over a year ago, has taken quite a beating. I have worn it practically every day including the winter because I do aqua fitness in an outdoor pool and I am extremely sun sensitive, even on overcast days. I would have liked to see it hold up a little better, but it still has a lot of life left in it and the performance of the sun protection has been so good that I bought a replacement to use outside of the pool. My original was the Primrose color which I liked a lot and received many compliments on, but it has been discontinued. It faded quite a bit but my my new adventure hat is the plum/grey combo which came yesterday and looks great. I wish it were made in USA.

best sun hat on the market! I'm a swim instructor almost year round - in water outside 7 hours a day - this hat is an absolute must! A true winner!

I use this as my gardening hat and my river hat primarily. I went to the garden shop a few days ago and nearly everyone there asked me where I got my hat because they wanted one. I've already had skin cancer so I am very careful about sun exposure. This is great because it's air-conditioned (vents) and it covers the back of your neck (which happens a lot when your bent over your flower beds. I bought these for my grand children, my parents, and my sister. They all love them. You will too.

Protects face and neck well and vents allow fresh air. I have various hats from SA and I keep this one in my suitcase.

I bought this hat in white/navy and chapperel/everygreen. I have had them for 12 years and can't live without them. They are the best I have ever seen. I used to Lifeguard and teach swim lessons and this hat protected me from the damaging rays of the sun. I have worn this hat in the chlorinated pool with no damaging effects to it. I use it for every aspect from hiking to gardening to just walking to the mailbox. I can fold this hat up and throw it in my purse and I abuse it thoroughly an it still looks brand new. The only reason I would ever purchase another hat would be for a color coordinated outfit and it would be this hat in another color. I love all the colros available but would love to see it in baby blue and a light rusty orange color. Best Hat I have ever purchased.

I bought the men's adventure hat for myself to use in the garden, however my husband took it from me. He works in construction outside all the time. Since he has been using this hat he does not have the red neck burn that he usually gets, and does not need to rub all the greasy sun tan lotion all over his face, ears, and neck anymore.

I bought this hat for my father who often has to have skin cancers removed from his face. He loves it because it's cool, lightweight, and stays on when he rides his bike. I don't think there is actually any difference between the men and women's adventure hat which you might be led to believe because the online catalog lists them separately. However, the mailer catalog lists the same hat as being for men and women. A medium for me (female) shouldn't be the same size as a man's medium.

This hat meets my needs for cutting my grass and fishing in the sun. My dermatologist suggested I check for the hat I was asking about in the brochure he handed to me.

This is not only a great sun hat with full coverage and cool comfort. It is also perfect for wearing under a bug netting hood as the wide brim keeps the netting away from skin so the bugs can't bite through. I use it while working in the vegetable garden during black fly season which invariably coincides with planting time. Thanks for a great hat!

Absolutely best beach hat when you're with little kids! I love wearing this hat anywhere I go with the kids under the sun cause it doesn't fly off and is the least of your worries when your playing with children. Gotten lots of complements, so I direct them to the website. This hat sells itself!
