All I can say is this is the best all around sun hat you can buy.

I am 69 years old and have had periodic severe sun reactions for decades that affect my exposed scalp, neck and arms. I spend most of my days outdoors in direct sun with well over 100 and 110 degree temperatures in the summer but even in the winter under cloud cover I can still have a UV reaction. I have never been able to stand hats or long sleeve shirts as thy are much too warm and uncomfortable. I recently purchased your Derma Safe hat that covers the neck also and a long sleeve Lightweave Tee shirt on the hope that they might be reasonably comfortable on hot days. It worked! I have worn them over a month now and find them pleasantly cool and comfortable under some 90 degree days so far this spring and while working up a sweat with no more sun reactions! Great Products!! I can't wait until mid-summer to be able to work outside without sun problems.

I live in the Outback town of Darwin in Australia where the average temperature is 35 degrees with 90% humidity and UV levels of over 14. I discovered SA by accident and it is the best discovery of my life! I have owned various sun clothing in my lifetime but nothing is near the quality of your product. The Women's Adventure Hat is perfect. It's wide brim and back flap provides all round protection with comfort. I highly recommend this hat for those of you looking for something simple and comfortable.

Just spent two weeks at little coastal town in Yucatan. Thought this hat might be too much, but--ha, ha!--it was perfect. Plus, the fabric is so tight it works well to bail water! Funny thing, when you see the local Mexican fishing guides, they look like mummies: it's 85 degrees, 80% humidity, and they've got gloves, long sleeve shirts, long pants, a hat, sunglasses, and a fabric tube pulled up over their necks and face, right up to the bottom of the sunglasses. Avoiding the sun on the water down there is serious business, and this hat did it for me.

I bought this hat at Fiesta Days, a summer event in our small town in the mountains of Southern California. The colors are great: bright pink on top and purple underneath; and the drawstring keeps it from blowing off when I am walking in the wind. I use it while walking the dog, running errands around town, at the beach...I like the fact that it is washable (most hats are not) and lightweight (easy to carry). I wore it last week at a county fair and a friend wanted to know where I found it! I ordered one for her online, knowing she will get lots of use from it.

I use my adventure hat everywhere I go under the sun...everywhere! It really keeps me cool and comfy. Just wish the wide brim was stronger.

This is my second summer wearing my adventure hat, and the number of people asking me where I got mine remains high. When asked, I then remove my hat and show them the Sunday Afternoons label and all of the practical features incorporated into this wonderful hat. It has saved my eyes and skin from my intense work conditions. I have also found that it makes a fine umbrella. I recommend this hat to everyone. I even think the appearance is top-notch. Only those not comfortable wearing hats of any kind would find this hat unattractive.

My daughter owns this hat, which prompted me to buy it because it looks so good on her, and it looks just as good on me, even though we have different face structure. It is summer and hot here right now, so when I go outside, I use this hat . I thought it would be hot in the sun, but it is very cool. I love the color ... and it stays on in the wind! I am going to buy another in a different color, and also the visor with the veil. Thank you for being a Company with integrity!

This is a Great Hat to wear when you are in the sun, so light and airy.

I have a small head and the small size fits me perfectly. It really covers me from the sun and I use it every day as I live in a very warm climate with constant sun exposure. I have travelled all over with it and it is light, easy to wash, easy to carry around and gives you complete coverage from all sides of the face.

I wear my hat whenever I go outside! I have very fair skin; and I love that I know I am protecting myself from the UVs when I wear my hat! I also get compliments every time I wear it and many people ask where I got it. So I just show them the tag that has Sunday Afternoons web and phone number! I love everything about this hat especially the dark fabric underneath that cuts the glare from the sun! For all sunny afternoons, I wear this hat! LOVE IT!

I wear this hat anytime I go outdoors. Each time I get questions and compliments from men and women alike. Two modifications I had to make on all three of my Adventure Hats: I removed the velcro tabs to hook up the back flap, and cut and bound a hole in the back above the band to put my ponytail through (think baseball cap). Please consider including this function in a future model for us long-haired folks who want to keep their necks cool. I love everything else about this hat.

I have spent a lifetime trying to find a fishing hat that shades my face, but also does not flap around in the wind (soft brimmed hats) or almost pulls my head off in high winds/blows off (stiff brimmed hats). With a large head, a ball cap type brim only covers my nose. As far as coverage, this gets 10 out of 10. The tail in the back also distributes the wind so it works in the wind. The front bill folds under HIGH winds, but I don't know if there is a way around that. If you can make the front brim not fold under high winds without making it pull your head off, you will have created the perfect fishing hat and I will be the first to tell every other melon headed fisherman in the world about.

I've had 2 of these for years and love them. Use on a regular basis for gardening and any other outdoor activities. I even wear over hearing protection headphones when on the riding mower. Just ordered the infant one for a friend and was going to get a new one for myself but was not happy at all with the color selections so decided not to get a new one for myself yet. Hope the color selection will improve.

I recently purchased the Men's Adventure Hat for my son. He has repeatedly "borrowed" my Sport Hat, wearing it throughout South America and on various camping and canoeing trips. He has been thrilled with its functionality and fit. Prior to heading to the far north (Yukon, Canada) to work in gold mining exploration, he had commented that he wished he had his own Sunday Afternoons hat like mine, but with a bit more sunscreen coverage. I think he is going to be thrilled when the Adventure Hat arrives in his care package!

I have had this hat for several years. I wear it when hiking/walking trails, greenways, and mowing the lawn. I often find that even the large size in other brand of hats are not big enough for me but this one fits well and has an adjustment to customize the fit. I have washed the hat several times and it has held up to handwashing very well. I recently purchased two more different styled hats and they appear to be made in the same quality way.

I have the Adventure, Sport, Cloudburst hats and the Sundancer and Sicily Visors. The Adventure is my favorite. It has good ventilation and great sun protection. The strap keeps it on in the wind. I walk a lot and this is my go to hat.

We buy these over and over again as they are comfortable, good looking and well made.

I use the hat all the time when I am outside. Whether I am working or when I am hiking. It has always been comfortable and protects my skin from the sun.

Use the Adventure Hat gardening and walking on the beach. Comfortable, light, breathes, shades great.

I bought this hat for wearing at the beach last year and found it easy to wear, lightweight, comfortable, and nice color (primrose/lavender). It's like having a parasol shading your face but you don't have to hold it. Stays put on windy days.

I wear my hat every time I go outside to do anything. I'll wear it when I'm mowing, watering, using my chainsaw, and anything else I do outside in the sun or wind. I read one review that said the brim would stay down in the wind--absolutely true! I live in Oklahoma and we have plenty of wind. I have some issues with my skin and my Dermatologist told me to get a hat that covers my skin from the neck upwards. This hat covers my neck(front & back), my entire face, and ears. He said it was a perfect hat for me. Love my hat!!!

Got my first hat so many years ago I don't even remember when, maybe around 2006. I use it mostly in my water aerobics classes in the intense Arizona sun 4-5x/wk. Excellent coverage from the sun, very lightweight even when wet, dries quickly. Easy to pack up for travel. I had the back flap velcroed up all the time and it began to tear along the crease from the chlorine and sun. Since I didn't use the flap, I just cut it off. Works just as well. Otherwise, very durable. The strings have been wearing out little by little over the years. Since I'm almost out of string and the hat looks a little beat up from so much use, I just bought a new one. You can always find one on discount if you're willing to wait. Even at full price it's still a good deal!

I am a professional gardener on Cape Cod who's been wearing Adventure Hats for work every day for four years. During that time I've had no recurrence of the basal cell skin lesions I'd had treated in the past. Nursery-owners and garden customers have asked where they can order these hats, and I now see them sold in local shops. They're comfortable, durable, easily packed into a work-bag and I think they look great.

I like that it can be used for jogging, hiking and camping.
