Nice hat, unfortunately for me runs big! Although I have a small head!

Love my hat. I have a small head and it cinches down to fit me. This is the 2nd one I've ordered. My first one fell out of our car somewhere and got last.

I love these hats, but this one is far more purple in person than the picture shows. Had to return it.

This is easily the stupidest hat ever designed for hiking in hot weather or for bird watching (the material, with the flap down is incredibly noisy!) The crown of the hat sits on top of your head, which means the side 'vents' collapse and do nothing. The sweatiest part of my head is always right by the supposed vents. It feels like being wrapped in plastic in the sun. The hat's only redeeming quality is that the flap does prevent sunburn on the neck. I will save it for winter only wear, but have had it with my head baking in this thing in the summer! I live at high elevation in the desert SW - maybe it works in milder climates or where the sun is less fierce, but it's a terrible, terrible hat here.

the hat I just received and have worn several times,is made in Vietnam. It fits nothing like the old one I have that was made in the USA. It is very stiff; the sunshade portion cannot be easily bent, like my old one, to avoid side sun; adjustment cords are stiff and very difficult to put in place. The brim stands out farther from the sides than the old one and allows slanting sun on my face whereas the old one does not. Not as good quality material--or anything. I would never recommend this hat to anyone.

This is the perfect hat if you don't mind looking dorky. I bought this hat years ago and wore it happily for many years, especially enjoying the large brim. When I lost that hat, I ordered a new one. Unfortunately it has changed in important ways from the original. I think the cap part of the hat is shallower so it doesn't cap the head as well. But, for certain, the ribbon and the buckle to tighten the hat on your head do not work together and slip loose immediately. The hat then behaves like a lightweight platter shaped kite and takes off from my head with the very slightest of breezes. The only way to keep it on my head is to constantly wear the chin strap. This might look OK in high mountain winds, but it looks DORKY on city streets. It WAS a great hat; but, no longer. Very disappointing.

Been wanting one of these for a long time but for some reason they never have small size available. Must be their hats are for people with big heads. That's OK. I'll find some comparable hat and tell everyone how good it is.
