Have one of these in each of my cars as well as my purse. Lightweight, easy to carry & chin strap keeps us together. Perfect for my recent sun related issues. Easy to clean. Goes well with most items in my wardrobe. Breathable. Love this!

This is the second one I have purchased. One thing I don't like about sun hats is that the brim in the back gets in the way. That is one of the things I love about this hat. You get the wide front brim that blocks the sun, and the back just covers the neck and doesn't get in the way. I also like a chin strap that keeps the hat from blowing off. The only thing that is odd to me is the elastic in the back. It sometimes feels a little tight. But all in all I love this hat.

Like: Functional Dislike: Does not stay seated properly. It needs to be adjustable.

This is not a flattering style but it works really well in the sun to keep cool so I am keeping it.

Love this hat on my kids but don't love it as much on myself. My ears bump into the brim which irritates me and the 2023 colors are totally boring. The good news is that I tried my daughter's hat and it fit! Maybe I have a small head?? Never thought so before but at least I can exchange for a kids hat that doesn't hurt my ears and has a fun pattern.

Why not white . Black is too hot - white matches everything - other colors are too much

Wish they could make it it in just white -matches with anything also a real light grey

The hats are great. But, I'm irritated with the service. I bought 2 hats and one was too big. The receipt and policy state they will replace for no charge. I mailed one back with specific instructions and they did not honor the policy. They credited my account less an amount for shipping or something. Not fair. I then had to reorder the hat at full price. You need to fix this situation.

Great brim but the band is quite hot in warm weather.

wish I could go with this product for sun protection but the mesh lets the sun through

Very disappointed with the quality of certain aspects of the hat, especially because it was expensive. The sweat band inside the hat is only 3-4 inches wide on the front, inside of the hat. The band is flapping around, barely sewn or bonded in on one side of the material. The adjustable band on the back seems to very thin and a cheap material.

I've had two, but they both wore out on very top of head. The material simply frays and rips open.

Medium is too large for smaller heads like mine. I have been wearing a Sunday Afternoon hat for gardening for at least 15 years and I believe it's your Adventure Hat and I love it. It has a few stains on it but it still works. So I thought I'd buy a new one and I did. I ordered a Small and received a Medium. The fit was not the same, the top was big and loose - too much extra space that my head won't fill no matter how I tighten it. Overall not happy. I will keep using my old hat.

I really want to like this hat. It is a great color and appears to be well made, but it is too large for me, looks dorky on me (of course that is only my own opinion), and the brim hangs too low and obscures some of my field of vision.

I have had SA hats for years, really love them, my oldest (at least 12 years old) finally ripped, as I wear it every day walking in the Tucson desert. I got a new one this year and the sweat band is only 6 inches long and curls out when off and I have to manually make sure it is against my forehead. Also I bought a large and the adjustment strap does not stay shortened so I can't make it fit right. Please fix!

these run larger sized So my large size is much larger than a regular large I should have gotten a medium This means the hat is not so comfortable

The fabric on these pants is light an airy with a great light texture - perfect for the office in warmer climates. The Problem is the fit. They are cut like men's pants with no hip and thigh room whatsoever. I even ordered a size up hoping for the best. They may work for someone with thin limbs, but these pants were a no go for this curvy girl...

Practical, very light, good ventilation. Only bad aspect i found is that its material feels so much thin, and light for a sun protective hat. It looks thicker, and robust on the pictures.

I bought an older version of this hat from a travel catalog years ago. It went everywhere with me & I adored it but foolishly lost it. I was thrilled to finally find it again but the new one is nothing like it! The brim is way thicker and stiffer, so you can't fold or pack it, and it squeaks very weirdly! The back elastic makes it much less comfortable and the way the back curtain" attaches is much clunkier & overall much less flattering. I am so sad I will have to mourn the old version forever."

This is a good all around hat for outdoor activities. I like the velcro in back. It would be a great hat if the brim was a half inch longer in front, there was a way to velcro up the back neatly (so it didn't look a little dorky), and the sweatband didn't make it feel a little uncomfortable in front.

The Derma Safe Hat appears to be discontinued, what a shame. That hat had side ventilation panels that could be covered up (for full UPF 50 protection) or revealed. This new hat does NOT allow one to cover the side ventilation panels and hence allows sunlight to come in through the vents. Am surprised they could claim UPF 50 with this design.

I have several ultra adventure hats that I love. The adventure hat has a non-breathable fabric that causes me to sweat and overheat. In addition, there is no seam in the brim for compact carrying -- go with the ultra.

The sizing is off, so large is way large So when I cinch it to my regular large size the hat is crimped and odd at the back The inner head band is not there Only a sweat absorber in the front, the the hat does not sit well on my head Shame this loss of details, and oversizing

An 'Ultra' adventure hat would keep the regular adventure hat brim-width and cape dimensions, and add a folding brim (excellent improvement, it makes it packable) as well as other features. (I have to wear my glasses all the time, so the sunglasses holder feature is useless to me.) This version has a narrower brim and cape and doesn't provide adequate sun protection. The adventure hat has great sun protection, but isn't easily packable (brim creases when rolled). Disappointed, I will be looking elsewhere for an effective sun hat.
