Our dermatologist recommended this company because my husband and I work outside and we want to protect our skin from the sun's harmful rays. We have been wearing the hats for 3 years now and never go outside without them on! They are light and breathable and dry very fast. We not only wear them at work, but fishing and boating too. They also come out of the washing machine very clean.

The Hawaiian sun can beat down on you. First time I saw this hat was at the beach, a swimmer was wearing it. It looks good, is comfortable, and weighs almost nothing. It dries in a few minutes after wearing it in the water and you can roll it up and stick it in your purse. I absolutely love in this hat. The first time I saw it was at the beach, a women in the water was wearing it. I asked where she got it and I ordered it that morning. The hat is so light and comfortable, my sister in law stole it from me. I had to buy more, my husband took it as well, I must have bought 10 of them. Recently a lady at the beach asked if she could buy it from me. I have taken my hat to NY, Ireland, and China. (Lost it on a bus in china, but lucky for me, I brought along another one). If you buy this hat you will be very happy. I do not have one complaint about this hat. I bought many other hats until I found this one. I bought it in a number of colors. It looks good on everyone.

Great hat to wear whenever you are out in the sun. It is so comfortable that you forget you have it on. Really like all the different colors....will go with whatever you wear!

I'm a professional dog walker and am in the hot sun 8-10 hrs a day..I purchased this hat at my local REI to get the sun off my neck...I have had this hat a year now and it shows no sign of wear. It's very comfortable and worth all the money to keep protected.. In fact we are heading down to Key West, FL in a few weeks and I just purchased one for my wife.

During the summers I work music festivals throughout northern California that last for days and start early and end late. Many times I stand in the sunshine where tempatures can reach up to 107 and I have no opportunity to seek shade. The adventure hat has saved me from burning to a chrisp. My entire head and neck are fully protected until the sun reaches the horizon in the late afternoon. This hat, after extensive usage, receives my highest recommendation!

This hat provides excellent sun protection, particularly for the neck. Good for men and women who have short hair!

My husband uses this hat for work at an upscale tennis facility in Florida. Fills all his needs and now the other employees have also gotten them. Sun protection is important in Florida and the Cruiser hat is easy care, lightweight, practical (chin strap), and good looking. My husband uses his for work and play!

I wear this hat nearly every day during the spring, summer and early fall months and LOVE it! It keeps the pesky sun-glare out of my eyes and off the back of my neck. It breathes well, so I don't feel overly hot from wearing it. The best part is the chinstrap so it doesn't blow off, which is wonderful on windy spring days. My kids also have the kid-version of these and have worn them during the same periods for two years now. We all love them!

I am a PE teacher in Arizona and I use this hat a lot! I just got a new one after having my first one for over 7 years. Not only does it protect from the sun, but it is so lightweight that it doesn't make you sweat. I have tried a lot of hats and this one is the best for sure! I have recommended it to many other people. I even got the children's versions for my 2 kids. We will keep using them for many years to come.

I first found this hat in a surf shop years ago and it has been my constant companion since. I regularly get compliments about the hat. I love the sun protection factor and have recommended this hat to literally hundreds of people. Everyone in my family has at least one and we use them for all outdoor activities. I have owned this hat for over 10 years and still have the same one, that's how durable they are! In fact, I love this hat so much that each member of my family has one. I have used this hat on casual afternoons in the garden, on dive cruises, while hiking in the Grand Canyon and Arches National Parks. The one thing I notice each time I wear my hat is that when I look around, people around me are sweating and squinting and having a terribly overheated time (we live in Sacramento where it gets 110 degrees in the summer). While everyone else is "suffering" in the heat, I am barely sweating and do not feel anxiously overheated. I recently went hiking in Arches National Park in Utah and wore my hat as well as my women's classic shirt (with no sunscreen on my arms) and stayed cool and well ventilated the entire time. I highly recommend this hat to anyone and everyone! It is so functional, travels so well, fits in your back pocket or cargo pocket and makes such an amazing difference in your day, and your skin's health!

I bought the hat for my mother-in-law, for her traveling and sun activities with the children. She loves it and uses it for all her sun activities. I gave her another hat for more elegant occasions, so that's the only times she won't wear the adventure hat.

I just bought a convertible. and the Adventure Hat keeps the sun out of my eyes and off the back of my neck and most important of all stays on my head in the wind with the chin strap! I also like that I can fold and Velcro the flap up off my neck if need be.

I wear this gem fishing - it is light and breathes beautifully. Good fit - nice long arms that don't bind or bunch. Longer length that hits at the hip.

When you need protection from the harsh sun in New Zealand's summer this is just the trick. As an active walker and traveler this hat is first off the block and into the suitcase. My biggest challenge with any hat wear is perspiration. A changeable sweat band would benefit the hat and help keep washing to a minimum for the complete hat. With an aging population the peak gives great shade to the eyes, with sun being a major cause of Glaucoma, this hat is beneficial for that protection.

This is the perfect hat for the active person. We will be using it all summer as we Golf, Go boating,fishing, Hang out with friends ta the club. Tis hat will be with at my side all summer. I really like the fact that you can fold it up and store it in its own travel bag.

Hat is lightweight and definitely blocks skin cancer causing UV rays. Try to produce one variation without embellishment and in camo for hunters.

A gift that I use almost daily for several years. Protects me from sun all year. Lightweight. Fits in back pocket easily when I am in shade or inside. Stays on in high winds. I sit on it with no harm. Washes easily.

I got an adventure hat 12 years ago. I am still wearing it but it is starting to look worn and the brim is not as solid as it use to be it has started to catch in the wind. So I replaced it. The style has changed a bit but I still love it. I have worn my old hat whenever outside be it camping, rafting, doing yard work and even to an outdoor wedding (I got a lot of compliments!).
