This is the best sun protection hat. It's great for someone like me with fair complexion. I've had mine all over the globe and frequently people ask where I bought it.

Light and comfortable. Good balance between shading and unobstructed vision.

I love this hat, the flap keeps me from having to goop up my hair with sunscreen on the back of my neck. And although I don't typically look good in hats, I get compliments on how cute this hat is constantly. Its also interesting how I meet people everywhere with this hat. I have met them in Hawaii, Colorado, Grand Canyon, California, Yellowstone, and here at home in Atlanta.

LOVE this hat! I mostly wear it at the beach for hours on end. It is not too hot, and it is very light weight so it is extremely comfortable. The brim stays straight even if it gets soaking wet! The chin strap holds it on no matter how strong the ocean breeze is. If it were to come off (which it never has) it floats so I don't have to worry about loosing it in the surf. I have loved this hat so much that I have turned half of my family and my husband's family onto Sunday afternoons! Their products are so far superior to Columbia, which is who my family used to use. Not any more! The first summer before they got their Sunday Afternoons they were so jealous of mine! There is nothing I don't love about this hat!

I liked the sport hat so much that I picked up the Adventure Hat too. It fits well and stays put in the wind. I love the slide button chin strap.

This hat will be great for our upcoming travels because it will pack so well. I don't like the decorative band on some of the original colors and notice that it has been deleted from some of the new colors. Will you be adding a nice red color in the future?

Excellent design for most any outdoor activity. Back flap very effective at protecting neck, blocking sun; has velcro patch to hold up when not needed. Front brim reinforced to hold shape. Has vents on either side to help keep cool. excellent hat, I use mine for gardening and yard work.

I first wore one of these hats that my daughter had and loved it so much I ordered one for my husband and myself. We have a lot of sun as we live in Surprise, AZ. They are so light weight you hardly know you're wearing a hat. Would never buy any other hat.

I have had my Adventure hat for many years and it is still in great condition. I wear it on sunny days when I will be spending hours in the sun and it does a fantastic job of protecting me, as a result, my wife wanted wanted one too. In the past she had wide brimmed straw hats but this hat is lighter, less likely to blow off in the wind and is more comfortable to wear. It is also less cumbersome and easier to store so that you have it when you need it. She really likes her Adventure hat.

I just purchased my second adventure hat. My first one which I purchased a little over a year ago, has taken quite a beating. I have worn it practically every day including the winter because I do aqua fitness in an outdoor pool and I am extremely sun sensitive, even on overcast days. I would have liked to see it hold up a little better, but it still has a lot of life left in it and the performance of the sun protection has been so good that I bought a replacement to use outside of the pool. My original was the Primrose color which I liked a lot and received many compliments on, but it has been discontinued. It faded quite a bit but my my new adventure hat is the plum/grey combo which came yesterday and looks great. I wish it were made in USA.

I bought this hat for my father who often has to have skin cancers removed from his face. He loves it because it's cool, lightweight, and stays on when he rides his bike. I don't think there is actually any difference between the men and women's adventure hat which you might be led to believe because the online catalog lists them separately. However, the mailer catalog lists the same hat as being for men and women. A medium for me (female) shouldn't be the same size as a man's medium.

This hat meets my needs for cutting my grass and fishing in the sun. My dermatologist suggested I check for the hat I was asking about in the brochure he handed to me.

I use this as my gardening hat and my river hat primarily. I went to the garden shop a few days ago and nearly everyone there asked me where I got my hat because they wanted one. I've already had skin cancer so I am very careful about sun exposure. This is great because it's air-conditioned (vents) and it covers the back of your neck (which happens a lot when your bent over your flower beds. I bought these for my grand children, my parents, and my sister. They all love them. You will too.

Protects face and neck well and vents allow fresh air. I have various hats from SA and I keep this one in my suitcase.

I bought this hat in white/navy and chapperel/everygreen. I have had them for 12 years and can't live without them. They are the best I have ever seen. I used to Lifeguard and teach swim lessons and this hat protected me from the damaging rays of the sun. I have worn this hat in the chlorinated pool with no damaging effects to it. I use it for every aspect from hiking to gardening to just walking to the mailbox. I can fold this hat up and throw it in my purse and I abuse it thoroughly an it still looks brand new. The only reason I would ever purchase another hat would be for a color coordinated outfit and it would be this hat in another color. I love all the colros available but would love to see it in baby blue and a light rusty orange color. Best Hat I have ever purchased.

I bought the men's adventure hat for myself to use in the garden, however my husband took it from me. He works in construction outside all the time. Since he has been using this hat he does not have the red neck burn that he usually gets, and does not need to rub all the greasy sun tan lotion all over his face, ears, and neck anymore.

Great for outdoors working or fishing. Use this product a lot for both my wife & I.

I'm a professional dog walker and am in the hot sun 8-10 hrs a day..I purchased this hat at my local REI to get the sun off my neck...I have had this hat a year now and it shows no sign of wear. It's very comfortable and worth all the money to keep protected.. In fact we are heading down to Key West, FL in a few weeks and I just purchased one for my wife.

During the summers I work music festivals throughout northern California that last for days and start early and end late. Many times I stand in the sunshine where tempatures can reach up to 107 and I have no opportunity to seek shade. The adventure hat has saved me from burning to a chrisp. My entire head and neck are fully protected until the sun reaches the horizon in the late afternoon. This hat, after extensive usage, receives my highest recommendation!

This hat is great with a couple small exceptions. Really protects your head, ears, scalp and a lot of your face. If you water proof it, its also great in the rain. Only complaint is the brim can get creased and then depending on where the crease is located, it can interfere with open clear vision. I have two of these hats. My older one does not have a creased brim because I think I bought it prior to their putting foam in it for flotation. The old one can be folded in any way without damaging it, which is a big plus.

I admired this hat on a volunteer in a nature reserve near Las Vegas when visiting USA from London UK some years ago, bought it and have been wearing it ever since. I am great at losing things but the strap which is adjustable keeps it attached to me. What I really love is that it looks feminine as I really don't want to look like a man with peaked cap when I am wearing bird-watching gear. My glamour-conscious grand-daughter keeps trying to use it. It is practical of course, and I like it so much that have ordered another for a relation in London.

My husband teased me mercilessly when I bought one of these for myself to wear while gardening, and then he used it one day while kayaking and now he loves it! I need to get him his own for Christmas.

I was worried that the large would not be large enough because experience has made me wary of sizing on hats but it fit beautifully with a tiny bit of cinching in the back (cinching tab built in). Wore it immediately to do some yard work and was extremely pleased with the fit and sun protection! Order was on my doorstep within two days of ordering. Person taking phone order was helpful and pleasant.

This hat allows me to be out in the sun for extended periods of time without worrying about skin damage. It allows my head to stay cool and is a comfortable fit. Usually I do not like wearing hats, but this one is great!
