This is my fourth SundayAfternoon hat which I wear during my work as a gardner/estate caretaker in a high plateau on the north shore of Hawaii. There is nothing comparable for overall protection, easy of care and good fit!

I used this hat for a two week hiking tour through Israel & Turkey. We were in the sun all day everyday during this trip but the sun was never an issue with this hat. It did get pretty windy and by the end of the trip the adjustable chin strap did start to give in but I was able to make it work. This was a good investment and would do it again if the need presents itself. Thumbs up!

I have never worn hats, I am not a hat person. But after seeing this hat and trying it on, it may be the solution to keeping my face from further sun damage. I have developed brown spots on my face, so I am needing to protect my face. This hat is lightweight and stylish enough to wear around. I have just received my order, and look forward to wearing it. I would love to see this Adventure Hat in dark red or a hot pink or magenta color.

I like everything about this hat, the fit, the style, and it does the job of protecting my very bald head.

This is my third one of these hats I have now purchased. I don't remember how I got the first one, but after tons of use I lost it. I found a new one at the fair, and made certain it was a Sunday Afternoons brand. I still have it and it works great but I wear it about 5 days a week during work doing pool service, so I purchased a new one for the upcoming summer. Of course I would love to get it cheaper, but the benefit it provides is worth the price. I've never been sun-burned anywhere on or around my face when wearing this hat. I set my dad up with one too for our river trips and it was literally like wearing air conditioning on our heads in the 100+ temperature. I must admit people don't say it is the most stylish, but that's mostly because stylish seems to be getting skin cancer on your face. As this mentality changes these hats will be more 'normal'. I will probably be buying my 4th hat in two more years and I'm pretty abusive with my hats and work.

I use this hat for almost everything. Have had it several years. A member of our hiking club recommended it. They got theirs in Hawaii. It was something I needed since I had skin cancer on my neck. I brought it with me after I got it and my dermatologist loved it.

Covers neck nicely while allowing for head movement & venting to keep head cool. Love color options but, ALL your hats need to be in a larger than 25 inch head size. I happen to have a Small size head but, ordered all our hats in the Large size to see which ones would fit my husband & the ones that didn't I'll be wearing. Which is OK being I wear my hair up in a pony tail.

I bought the Adventure hat to wear in Saudi Arabia. It is light weight, cool, and shades both my eyes, and neck. All in all a great hat.

I work outside and this hat is great for sun protection and although it has not yet reached the 90's it is cool on my head. Best of all I can wear this hat over bulky hair clips without any pulling, so glad my search has ended for the perfect hat for work and at play on the beach.

I bought an adventure hat 11 years ago and instantly fell in love with it and wore it every day to duty at lunch on the playground and any other outside activity; zoo, golf, ball games. That hat was my signature. Due to some circumstances beyond my control, I lost my hat. There was no question as to where I would go to replace it. Your hats are fantastic and I always get envious looks and comments when I wear it. Thanks for making such a high quality product.

I have had adventure hats for over 15 years and would still have my very first one except I lost it! I currently have three in use including one permanently in the car just in case. They are excellent hats for packing, carrying and wearing for sun protection. I wear mine in the water, hiking, walking....basically everywhere if I will be in the sun at all. Not the most stylish, but well worth it for the ease of use and protection.

Last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After going thru surgery I had to have chemo and radiation. Because of the drugs I had to stay out of the sun so I ordered an Adventure hat to cover my bald head. I was never a hat person but I love it!! It's so lightweight and comfortable plus it shields my head, ears, face and neck from the sun. I live in Tucson Arizona and the sun shines almost every day of the year. I have recommended your website to numerous friends and people I have met who are going thru treatments like I was so they too can benefit from your wonderful hats. Thank You!

I am an avid outdoor person and I love this hat. Without products like this I could not enjoy being outdoors in FL since I have skin cancer. I kayak, golf, go to the beach and anywhere else with this hat and I have no worries. If you have young, beautiful skin and want to keep it that way, buy this hat. PS I get lots of compliments on it as well!

There is an adjustable band which I like. It hasn't blown off yet--yeah

Use the hat everyday. I am retired and am outside all day. Keeps the sun out!!

I use this hat for tennis mostly but find that I want to wear it all the time. I like the colors and the fact that the hat is so lightweight. It gives great coverage but does not interfere with my game.

This is the best sun hat I've ever owned! I am allergic to sun. In March, I went to Jamaica and I took long walks - not in the shade. I put the flap down and my neck did not burn! This hat is incredibly breathable. My granddaughter got too much sun, so I lent it to her and she jumped in the pool with it - no damage done to the hat at all. The 4 brim is the exact size to protect my face. I can't recommend this hat enough and the price is fantastic! Thank you!"

The Adventure Hat is outstanding. The neck cover is great as it covers your entire neck. The hat is also very breathable. It keeps you cool -even on really hot days! Very highly recommended.

This is the first Sunday Afternoon hat I have bought. It has the best sun coverage of all the hats I wear. I'm out in my garden at least 3 days a week all day if I can. The hat is light weight and has air vents at the top. On days when the sun is hot it is very cool. The ajustable straps on the top back of head and chin make it great for windy days which we have alot in upstate NY. I like the terrycloth sweat band in the front of the hat also. Most important it has the uv protection which is so important for your skin and if you dye your hair it helps with fading also! I would recomend this hat if you spend many hrs out in the sun as I do. I diffently will be buying another hat from Sunday Afternoons!

I have owned my red adventure hat for nearly six years hiking and kayaking. Two friends went online and bought them after seeing mine. My hat is now faded and I would love a new one but where has the red gone? PLEASE bring red back! For safety's sake I like to be seen when I am outdoors.

This is the best hat I have ever had. My hometown rains 200 days in a year, I'm really not doing well with bright sun in Canada. I can finally go out with enough protection. If you see hundreds order from Canada, it was because I highly recommended it on a BBS :-)

I have 3 Adventure hats I use whenever I am in the sun. Gives excellent protection from the sun. One is dedicated to garden work because the material stains easy from dirt that does not wash out - this is the only drawback of this wonderful hat.

Having had three melanomas removed over the past ten years, I was in the market for a new hiking hat. This one is just perfect. It does have a wider brim than my previous hat which does obstruct some views, but for me - that is worth it! Standard shipping went very well - arrived faster than I thought it would.
