It covers wonderfully, love the purple color!! Originally ordered a size too small, but had no issues with exchanging.

I have had this hat for about 5 years now and wear it every time I go hiking, fishing, or backpacking. It has saved my face and neck from the harsh sun! It is very lightweight and comfortable, but durable as well. I hike in the mountains of Colorado where the sun is brutal and hike about 200 miles/year, so that's a lot of time spent under the sun! I have the Blossom color, and after all these years of wearing it, it has held up very well. The only complaint I have which is more cosmetic, is that the color has totally faded to a blah looking pink. I liked the vibrancy of the fuchsia before, but now it's a very hazy pink. But I guess that shows how much the hat is protecting my skin as that damage to the color could've been damage to my skin that I have been able to avoid because of the hat! I work in a dermatology clinic where we do a lot of skin cancer removal and we recommend and sell this hat at our office. That is how I was first introduced to the hat. And after all these years, I can definitely recommend this hat! My head circumference is 22", and the S/M fits perfectly, even with wearing a Buff. It is nice that there is an adjustable strap in the back along with an elastic section behind it.

I love this hat. This is my second one. I lost the previous on my last trip to Europe. I had it for the last 4 years. Excellent cover. Fits flat in my carry on. Easy to wash. Great for the pool, the mountains, jogging or just going for a walk in the park. It fits in my big head very well, no other hat fits like this. And it keeps my face without sun spots. I have 4 children and they each own one of these... if they grow out of them, I buy them new ones. Most light weight full coverage outdoor hat. Love it!

I wear this hat so much people know who I am from a distance. I have been wearing this hat for so long that my family photo album is filled of pictures of me wearing this hat all over the United States, Europe, and South America. Anytime I am outdoors, I wear this hat. It is comfortable and cool. It's easy to take everywhere because it's okay if you squash it and put in your bag or pocket. I live in an area where the sun is strong most of the year and I firmly believe that this hat has saved my skin and probably prevented me from having skin cancer on my face and neck. I have washed it (hang it to dry rather--no dryer!) several times and it comes out looking great. Four of my friends/family/neighbors have bought one of these hats because they see me wearing mine all the time and they all love these hats too! I also like the fact that it fits many head sizes. I had a lot of trouble finding a hat that was big enough for my head but this hat fits great and is never too tight due to the adjustability of the hat band. Get one--you will not regret it!

I am totally satisfied with this hat! I bought it to serve one purpose: to keep the sun off my face and neck while I walked my dog in Southern California. I have very fair skin and was worried about daily exposure, especially during the summer. I have been wearing this hat several times a day for five months, and have found that not only does it keep the sun off of my skin, but it even keeps me cool as well. The chin strap has been invaluable when I run with my dog or when a random breeze hits us. The hat fits snugly but not tightly and has never blown off. I was a little bit hesitant to get something that looked like this, because I was afraid I would look dorky, but a) it's totally worth it because I'm protected from the sun! and b) I have actually received a lot of compliments and people have stopped to ask me where I got my hat. This hat is a dream come true and fits my head and my needs perfectly!

I love my Adventure hat! I have worn it daily this season as I own a lawn care company and it has been an incredible comfort upgrade as I work for hours on end in the sun.

I went from a baseball hat with a bandana on the neck to a river hat with a fully integrated neck flap to this because I liked the neck cover combined with a broad brim so air circulates under and through it. I wore it so much the material on the top disintegrated after many years of use and abuse. Now I'm buying another one. Exactly the same. Cream, because the lighter color reflects heat in the desert. I'm absolutely sold on these.

This hat gives good sun protection, is light weight and even folds to fit in my purse when I'm not using it. I also like the back flap for added neck protection. I've been using it for a few years and it holds up perfectly. I highly recommend it.

Wow!! I adore this hat. I live in South Florida where ball caps just don't cut it. I have Lupus and cannot be exposed to much sun but just love being outside. This hat allows me to stay healthy while still enjoying an outdoor lifestyle. I can't say enough good! I love it so much I ordered my toddler and husband one!

I've worn this hat for many years. When hiking in desert heat I wet the entire hat for evaporation cooling. Despite my years of poor treatment: wetting, scrunching, tossing in my pack, it continues to look good and function GREAT.

I love this hat. I take it everywhere I will be in bright sunlight. It has protected my sunburn prone face and neck for years. In fact, it protects your face and neck from downpours. I agree that it can be hot, as I have trouble getting it to fit my small head, hence the air vents are covered by my head. I have several of these hats in other colors and highly recommend the hat. I get compliments on the hat everywhere I go.

Well, I should have listened to the doctors years ago when they warned that my light skin, light hair, blue eyes don't mix well with the So Cal sunshine. Got treatable skin cancer (thank goodness) and was given the riot act, cover up. The doctor recommended this hat, and I couldn't be more pleased. I looked at other brands, but tried this first. I like it so much I now have a bunch of different colors, and my wife pulls one out when gardening too. This hat provides great protection and is so light I barely know it's on. And when it's windy, cinching the drawstring keeps it secure. And it looks pretty good too. Great product!

Hands down the best sun hat out there.. in SWFL, this thing is a life saver..

I have bought this hat over and over (I seem to lose them traveling)! It is comfortable, light weight, and protects my entire face and neck from the sun.

This will be my 4th and 5th hats of this model. I have a big head and good fitting hats are real hard to find that fit and at the same time are comfortable. I use them in the yard, walking on the beach and surf fishing. They are fabulous hats and last a real long time.

I really like my adventure hat. I have had it for several years. The front is a huge shade barrier even over your ears. The back protects your neck, but stays out of the way of the headrest when in the car. Recently I dumped over while kayaking and I lost my hat and sunglasses. After pulling the kayak to the side of the creek, I remembered the hat is supposed to float. So I went back closer to where I flipped over, and there was the hat! Floating. Alas the sunglasses were consumed by the water. I have to say, the hat dried quicker than my hair did. LOL.

I bought my Adventure sun hat about five months ago and I couldn't be happier!! I wear it most of the time when I outdoors playing pickleball [similar to tennis} for hours in the hot southern California sun...it gives me all the protection I need and the chin strap keep the hat in place even when I'm running around the court....the material is very light whch allow for good air flow and my face and especially my neck excellent protection from the sun....I only hope to see more colors for men and women......Wonderful hat !!!

Ok. So you really need to be outside doing stuff to wear this hat, I will take to Egypt and look and be cool. The adjustable ribbon won't stay in place so I used a safety pin. Won't do for running errands, you will look way over the top.

I LOVE my Adventure Sun Hat! This sun hat really helped to protect me from 100 degree HOT temps in Washington DC this summer. I highly recommend this hat and will purchase more in different colors. The fit is pretty true to size, but runs slightly large in my opinion.

I just received this hat, and it is truly wonderful. I'm allergic to the sun, and I have to wear, among other things, a good sun hat. Most are too heavy or get in the way (with the headrest behind me) when I'm driving. Not this hat! It's light, cool, comfortable to wear. It provides excellent protection along with excellent comfort.I love the fact that the under-brim is a dark color, which is much more soothing to my eyes in the glare of a sunny day. We'll see how it performs, but you may have, truly, invented the Ultimate Sun Hat!

Best hat ever. I am on my third one, as I keep losing them or giving them away. My daughter is on her adult hat now since she outgrew the kid hat. Good visors for eyes, cape for neck protection, lightweight, and portable!

This is my third Adventure hat. Great sun protection, comfortable and lightweight. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hat have Had first one for 17 years...washes packs well Works great n sun, wind, heat, cold Wash Wash by hand looks almost new. Second hat is just as great highly recommend for any outdoor activity from snowshoeing to kayaking to hiking to fishing water rolls off great sun and wind protection
