I bought these at my son's request for his father's day gift. He loves them. He wanted them early for a hunting trip and they did not disappoint him at all. He said they worked as expected and no blisters.

These boots are true to fit, comfortable and durable. Break in period was 1 day.

This is a great boot, my third new pair. I have only good things to say about this boot. The soles are firm but flexible and do not slip on wet surfaces. They provide all season comfort, keeping your feet dry, with excellent arch and great ankle support help prevent sprains. The plastic lace hooks hold laces in place and prevent slipping.

I have worn the Quest 4 gore-Tex boot for 2years. Never have I gotten a blister and I average 4-10miles per week since I owned the first pair. I bought a new pair last week and slapped them on brand new for a 20mile south rim to river hike in the Grand Canyon. Bright Angel trail was flowing water at many points and I was able to blaze through water and land with only minor lacing adjustments at phantom ranch between descent and ascent parts of the 9hr hike. These boots are so light and comfortable I have hiked more often than ever since I picked up these comfortable hikers. The high top protects my ankles and keeps me sure footed. Not a single blister. I did wear sturdy wool hiker socks but I think the boot makes a difference too.

This is my first pair of Salomon's and was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the boots right from the beginning. I have put a few miles on them in the short period of time I have owned them and they just keep getting better. The lacing system keeps my heels locked in and my feet from sliding around inside the boot. All in all these are great boots and can't wait to put more miles on them.

wore out my first pair after 8 years of constant daily use working construction in summers and at the ski valley in winter. My feet were never cold, wet or uncomfortable.

I purchased these boots for my husband as a gift. He was thrilled. Th boots have great support and are extremely comfortable. He didn't even have a break in period. Very stylish also.

True to size, super comfortable, and very lightweight

I hiked in these shoes for the first time Saturday on a rugged 5.6 mile mountain trail and they did great!!! Hoping they hold up. Love the ankle support. I had been using Keen boots but the glue they use on soles was not doing its job.

An incredible well built hiking boot . Hardcore sole , extremely confortable without the need of extra in soles , superb ankle support , extreme waterproof .. there's absolutely nothing bad that can be said about this war ready boot .

I've been wearing boots for well over 40 years, tried all different manufacturers and styles and these are the most comfortable and well made boots that I've ever worn! I work construction and am on by feet 12 to 14 hours each and every day and I really like the feel of these boots. These are definitely worth getting, you won't be disappointed.

Once you figure out getting them stitched just the right way, not too loose, not too tight, then they fit wonderfully. At times feels a little loose in the back heel, but thicker hiking socks may help. Sturdy but not too heavy. Warm but not overheating. Good summer boot when I typically hike in Salomon winter boots all other 3 seasons. I appreciate the firm lace hooks and easy on/off heel loop. I hope Salomon continues to make good products over the years and their quality doesn't decline.

My husband love this boots. He said it's the best boots for hiking and for work. He said that his feet and his knees don't bother him as much anymore since wearing these boots for work. Hope Solomon keeps making these boots.

Aesthetically pleasing, good fit right out of the box. They were comfortable to walk in and stand in around town without having a break in period. The first hike I took them on was 16 mile trip with a weighted pack, I wanted to see how they handled before taking them into the mountains and desert this summer. They handled the rocky terrain well, very stable underfoot.

I bought these boots a couple of weeks ago and they are very comfortable. I have not worn them to work or hiking yet, but I can safely say they will work well. I previously owned a pair of the Quest 3 boots and they were the best boot I had ever owned. I am looking forward to put these to the field test as I am certain they will be just as good as the others. I recently purchased from other brands and ever time I received them, I returned them because there is no boot like the Salomon Quest 4.

This is what hiking boots are all about . The construction inside and out . Durable sole , durable outer leather , keeps your feet dry , ankle support is superb .. can't say anything bad about this product

I am very happy with these boots. I have owned them for about a year now. I have made tons of diferent things of these. From very light mountaineering and mid mountain to forest light hikes. Even brought them to a sky trip and worked excellent. Very good contruntion overall and the perfect equilibrium between a heavy and very warm mountaineer boot and a more light hiking boot.
