Great, just enough support while allowing feel for the trail.

Having enjoyed the Vapor Gloves (mk5 I believe), but thinking they lacked sufficient cushion for rocky trails. The Trail Gloves were the next obvious shoes to try - and they're perfect. They seem to be constructed great, and the Vibram soles do not lack for grip. Super lightweight, great ventilation, and I imagine they dry quick! I broke these in this weekend during a climbing trip in Southwest Oklahoma. They saw 10+ miles of trail, backcountry, and scrambling on varied granite surfaces. No pain or discomfort - I can already tell these will serve well for multi-day hiking. They are also perfect relief from climbing shoes, serving as a comfortable shoe to wear between pitches, and light enough that you don't notice you're carrying them. I just wish they had a loop on the back, so I didn't have to clip the laces. Great shoe, can't wait to test them for backpacking.

Super light-weight. Definitely feel the ground underfoot but not too much. Sole has a bit of springiness to it, seems to help with energy retention in each stride. I love the upper webbing/lacing construction, when tightened it really feels like uniform pressure around the foot, not right over top. Great shoes.

Hey, I love Merrell shoes, especially Trail Gloves! I specifically bought these for vacationing in Florida. Everybody needs a comfortable, super lightweight shoe when doing a lot of walking and hiking. Off the concrete right onto the trail! Talk about versatility. Looking for a trial spokesman? I'm your man and I can model. Hit me up Merrell, I'm 54 and in better shape than most guys 1/2 my age. Thanks for a great product, once again. Go Merrell or go home.

Big fan of Vapor Gloves for running but needed a little more protection for hiking. Trail Glove 6 were perfect. Hiked to top Flat Iron in the Superstition Mountains outside Phoenix. Pretty much a scramble over large rocks the last half and the Trail Gloves were great! Note- I wear a size 11 Vapor Glove but needed a 11.5 Trail Glove 6, the 11 was too small. Return was very easy.

Just received these, they are tight to get on, but, the arch support is the best I've ever had. I've had lots of othere over many years, fit is perfect with a little larger toe area and that perfect arch support.

Close fitting minimalist shoe. Super light and a great look!

Great for hiking. Size (length) runs slightly bigger compared to other shoes. Width for toes could be more. Very comfortable once worn in

Bought as gift for my husband for Christmas. He has had problems finding comfortable shoes that don't make his feet and legs hurt after wearing for a walk or just working outside for the day. He has loved them so far and haven't heard any complaints about them.

More of a low profile trail show than a barefoot shoe, but still well made and designed! They do have arch support and a fair amount of cushion.

I have been wearing these and previous iterations for 3 years now and nothing but good things to say about them. Light weight, not bulky, and I use them for every day to running.

Great shoes for minimalist wear on/off road hiking, some CrossFit Activites, and even light running. Note: they run large: I found .5 to a full size below my normal running, hiking, exercise shoes or boots.

Not a barefoot or whatever officianado, but I'm happy with them. I think they have just the right amount of tread/sole protection without affecting the comfort/flexibility.

I love these shoes. I am not a trail runner but purchased the shoes for better ground feel during the golf swing. FootJoy needs to take note.

I got these new Merrells in preparation for my family trip to Peru. I knew I'd be doing a lot of walking and I wanted to only take one pair of shoes that would be multi functional. I played basketball for a couple hours one morning, albeit with my cuado and his cousins who were not very good, but the trail gloves did the trick. I also climbed at a rock wall gym twice and used the Merrells because they didn't have my size in the rental climbing shoes. I'm very pleased and will be wearing these almost daily for at least the next year.

Love these minimalist Merrell. Have been limited to treadmill use but fit and support are excellent.

These shoes have fast become my husband's favorites. They are so light and extra cushy.
