I am extremely satisfied with my new Trail Glove 6. The firmness & traction of the sole does great in the fine Arroyo sand of the Petroglyph National Monument trails.

I've owned probably around 20 pairs of Moab's over the years, all have been mid to high top. These are my first "standard" size shoe for everyday wear and walking around town. Love them!

Very comfortable!!! I have been wearing them very often and they felt great the moment I put them on. There's plenty of toe room and the support is very good.

These live up to their name, so comfortable my all around go to shoe, and I can't wear just any shoe, plantar fasciitis issues, usually need inserts, these feel so good on my feet, and they don't ache after wearing them for hours! Gonna buy another pair just cause! Love them!!!

Great shoe. Perfect for the leg day and deadlifts at the gym (flat sole, minimal arch support) along with being at home on the trail for 6+ mile runs! Sole is holding up well.

The Trail Glove fits, and supports like no other shoes, and they look cool. I have tried many shoes, and after a back surgery this is my go to everyday shoe.

I am an airline pilot. I already don't have enough room to bring everything I want. I can't be dragging around clunky, heavy shoes. I purchased the Trail Glove 6 on the recommendation of my son. I have not been disappointed. These are very light, very packable, and built tough to stand up to hikes on sharp lava rock in Kona. I was worried, when walking through sand, the shoes would quickly fill up with sand going through the holes. That did not happen. Highly recommend.

I wanted to try these shoes not for running but for cycling on my road bike. I have a Morton's "neuroma" (which is not an issue of a nerve but callous-like tissue around and compressing a digital nerve to the toes) between the second and third metatarsal bones (the ball of the foot area) of my left foot. After using clipless pedals for a few years, I began to have intense, excruciating burning pain in my left foot because of the "neuroma" after pedaling only a few miles. I tried different cycling shoes and cleats, but the problem is that all of the shoes that I found had the cleat-anchoring point pretty much right over the "neuroma". I tried using my cycling shoes with toe clips and no cleats, but I had the same problem with the anchor point centering pressure right at the "neuroma". So I bought the Trail Glove 6 as a potential shoe to use with toe clips. I have other trail runners, and those are very good for distributing the pressure across pretty much all of ball of the foot. What drew me to try the Trail Glove for cycling were several potential features that turn out to be true: Shoe height and width are not excessive (unlike my regular running shoes), so smooth entry into toe clips is facilitated. Outer sole is relatively smooth, so the shoe doesn't snag the pedal edges (another clip entry issue). The outer sole also has a somewhat uni-body design that aligns with the metatarsal heads, so pressure is very widely distributed across the ball of the foot on the pedal. Ventilation through the upper mesh is good. The shoe is somewhat stiff like other trail runners and the so-called rock plate gives the shoe extra support at the pedal contact areas. Although the shoe is advertised for sockless running, I'm using my usual cycling socks for extra wicking and friction relief. I'm using the shoe size I would normally wear, which seems just right with socks. And one other benefit: nice, comfortable shoe for just walking around off the bike - a pleasure with no cleats to deal with. I'm sacrificing efficiency with toe clips, yes, but my cycling is for transport fun and fitness, not competition, and definitely not for self-inflicted pain, so a lot of practical improvement for me with this set up. The general feel of the shoe off the bike is initially a bit of a surprise, because the heel is lower than other shoes (and reminds me of the 70's fad "Earth shoes" which were supposed to make you walk like you're barefoot on the beach and your heel is sinking into the sand). Trail Glove 6 is not that severe, but noticeably different from all of my other foot apparel, and in line with the concept of "barefoot" running. I don't intend to run in these, but if I had to, I think I could be happy.

Big step up from the trail glove 5. Better support, better sole and in my opinion a better look. Comfortable at first use. Solid shoe!!

I'm 68, and my wife and I walk 1500 miles or more a year, and we've been doing this for over 20 years. So I burn through hiking shoes. The tread on these Oakcreeks is robust and I like that for stability and grip. The structure is solid and the lacing set up is sturdy and since they only had wides it allows me to tighten up. On prior shoes, and I've had some expensive higher end ones, the treadwear seems to go in just 3-4 months. This is my first pair of Merrells, so I am anxious to see how they hold up, so far I like what I see.

Great right out of the box! I ordered 1/2 size up from my regular size. Lighter weight than my moabs so they work for everyday use. Love the color but would like to see more color options.

I was extremely impressed with the build quality on these Oakcreek's. They feel solid, the stitching is tight, and the sole tread is all you could want. My error was in choosing shoe size. All the sites said size is right, choose regular size. So I did. It only took about a 30 ft walk to see I should have gone with an 11 Med instead of the 11.5 EE I've worn for 30 yrs. After initial steps for fit check, I was distracted with 2 of my vehicles in need of immediate attention and that took far too long. In the mean time the box & packing had been discarded so I decided to just let these Oakcreeks sit. At some point I'll revisit another pair of Merrell's because I can tell that with a good fit I won't be disappointed. So my error aside, anyone considering a pair of hikers really should give Merrel a serious look. They really seem to have a lot to offer. imho

I bought mine half a size too big, but I needn't have worried. A week after buying my pair I walked 34 miles in 6 days on the streets of Edinburgh and surrounding towns. They were comfortable and light, no problems at all.
