It was just the right balance between flexibility and sturdiness for semi-tough trail walks

I got these shoes for trail running but they're so comfortable I wear them everywhere, in particular for walking the dog. They give your foot complete freedom to move naturally while providing a touch of arch support from below. They hug your foot so there is no slipping, but it does not feel tight or restrictive.

Very comfortable Running Shoe. I have been training in them for 3 years. I wore a pair during the Spartan Beast I completed in 2021 at BadLands off road park Indiana.

Excellent minimalist running shoes. These are the only running shoes I have worn in the last 14 years. I wouldn't use anything else.

I purchased these shoes only two days ago along with another pair and I already have them due to incredible processing and shipping. These shoes are really light and fit true to size. They seem well made and are a great replacement for my current Merrell's.

Took a little bit getting used to but my Trail Glove 6's are now very comfortable for walking and light running, without socks. They definitely run a little big, so good advice to order 1/2 size smaller.

I used to alternate between these and the Vapor Glove 5 on my daily runs. I have now been leaning towards the Trail Glove 6, as the rock plate gives me extra confidence as I shuffle through my local Pacific Northwest trail runs.

I have had a number of Merrell Trail Glove iterations, and 6 is thus far my favourite. I love the minimalism that continues with each model, and the functionality. I am a size 10 and these fit my flat feet very well. I am a long distance trail runner, and have always had a hard time finding minimalist/zero drop trail runners that can keep up. Merrell Trail Gloves came into my life about 5 years ago, and I have never looked back.

Merrell Barfoot Shoes are the Best Barefoot shoe out there hands down. I made the switch to the barefoot shoe lifestyle about 12 years ago and have never looked back. I tried a few other brands that claim to be barefoot along the way, but nothing has ever compared to the Merrell Barefoot series in comfort and function. Make no mistake I only wear either the Trail or the Vapor glove in what ever I do; So these guys are on my feet everyday from work (Office & Jobsite), to training at the gym, on the trails, road runs, races, tri-Athlons, adventure races, playing sports, playing with my kids, coaching, hanging out, going out, what ever the occasion these are my go to shoes. Barefoot is more than a shoe style it is a lifestyle choice. It will change your feet, strengthen your ankles, lower calf muscles, adjust your stride, etc. back to what it was meant to be before we all started wearing shoes with heals so thick that you can't feel the ground you are walking on and have so much cushion that it causes heel strikes when you run. Since changing to barefoot shoes and correcting my running posture I have never had the likes of shin splints or any real foot/lower leg pains again, Once you get thru the initial use of your foot, ankle, calf stability muscles that you don't use in the "traditional" athletic shoe... They will be sore for the first few weeks as you restart to use the muscles that you have not been using since you were a toddler... It is smooth sailing and you will not want to turn back to those old overly padded ways again. So just my 2 cents for whom ever wants its, but once you go Barefoot you will not want to go back.

As advertised; fits like a glove!! Noticed a little heel bias; as if the weight was lifted off the front of my feet and placed more on the heel. Super light, super comfortable and extremely well built. I will probably buy a pair for each of my household. They are that awesome. Seriously.

I actually bought these shoes in order to fit my 197 cm (6'5") self into an ultralight aircraft for flight training. I find that they are pretty comfortable just walking around the hanger and movement areas. Barefoot shoes are not my type of shoe, I prefer something like the MOAB, but these are surprisingly comfortable and capable.

These shoes lasted through years of vigorous running and cross country backpacking. I've worn them down to nothing and still run in them comfortably everyday. The arch was a little weird and lumpy at first, but after a few weeks it felt perfectly tailored to my feet. You can feel every nook and cranny and subtle difference in ground texture like you're barefoot, and the vibram outsole still offers plenty of protection from sharp gravel, rocky mountaintops, and debris covered trails. They also work great as water shoes and dry very quickly. They are flexible and as light as a feather. They are still super comfortable, but they have gotten so raggedy from the years of use that I have to say goodbye. 6/5 stars!

Don't be fooled these shoes are not a barefoot option. Glove like fit with arch support and protective outsole. Offers little in way of proprioceptive feed back. A good arrow in the quiver of minimal sneakers.

Great pair of shoes for travel. Brought them because they pack so well and are comfortable enough to wear all day. It would be nice to have a removable insert or perhaps a metatarsal and arch support built in.

I use them for driving my vintage cars. The pedal boxes are narrow and I have used my Merrell Trail Gloves over the years to drive my cars and kicking about.
