This is my 7th pair of Merrel's and it is most uncomfortable one. Sole is so hard it fells like they forgot to put that kinetic/ air cushion thingy. First time my feet are achy after wearing their shoes.

This newest iteration of the trail glove is no longer a barefoot shoe. The sole is thick with a painfully intrusively, high arch. I wish I'd have bough up more of the 5 when I had the chance. If you liked the old shoe, move on. It's no longer.

Just received a pair a few days ago. I had a pair of trail glove 5 and really liked them, and I'm probably on my 5th pair of vapor gloves which I still love,. But Trail Glove 6...No. It's not a barefoot shoe, it doesn't feel like zero drop, it's too narrow for my feet, and the sole is way too thick and inflexible. Why would you change a winning concept? I'm returning these. Hope number 7 is a return to what made the previous iterations great.

You have ruined a great barefoot shoe . Glove 4 was amazing Glove 5 had a few improvements and a few worse features ! But still in total wearable . Glove 6 is really bad . If you call me I can give you more details .

I've owned a dozen trail gloves because the true-to-shape fit and wide toe box, but these squish my toes. They are more narrow than previous trail gloves. Seems like Merrell has given up on their foot shaped shoes completely.

The original trail glove was the perfect minimalist shoe since then they haven't offered anything for a minimalist runner

A week after I got them I took them on Missouri trails and both soles came off the shoe

These shoes run a full size too small, and are far too narrow. I couldn't even get them on my feet. So much for a "barefoot" shoe. . .

Tight, high arch support. Not a bare foot shoe. If you liked the 4's, you won't like these.

Decent shoe with a significant flaw: there are straps that connect the tongue of the shoe to the laces. As a result, the shoe gives you very little ability to control how tight it feels, especially toward the top of the shoe. Pulling on the laces makes the tongue very very tight. I've had issues with tendonitis on the top of my foot as a result of tight laces, so not being able to have a looser fit is a fatal flaw. It's also a largely unnecessary one.

Of the many pairs of Merrill shoes I own, these are the worst fitting so far. It feels like the arches were moved 2" rearward very strange. They're brand new a going back!

The arch supports were in the wrong place so I sent them back. Then I wasn't given the full amount back. That was very not cool! If your product doesn't fit even when it was my size I feel I should have gotten the full amount back.

The toe box on these is far too narrow and what is with the rigid arch support? Maybe I'm just too used to wearing real barefoot shoes but there is no way I'll be able to wear these without significant pain. This is my first experience with Merrell barefoot shoes and I'm very disappointed.

I've owned every trail glove since the "2" and they've all been great shoes. Whoever decided to narrow the shoe and add in this arch support ruined this line completely. I hope the "7" will be a return to form because these shoes are awful.

I bought them a little over a month ago (order was placed on 7/15, today is 8/31) and the outsole (bottom part of the shoe) is separating from the shoe itself.

I've had this shoe for over a month now. At first they seemed quite comfortable but after a full month of regular use I'm getting terrible pains in the soles my feet. I swapped shoes to a pair of Saucony shoes I have and the pains went away. I have pretty flat feet and the pain these shoes cause is excruciating. I cannot recommend and wish I could return these.

I returned the shoe for the following reasons. The footbed was narrowed in this version making it very uncomfortable for hiking. The "tongue" was also separated from the side wall. When it was connected it was much easier to get in and out of the shoe. LOVED the trail glove 4, but this version was returned.

Didn't even get to wear them. They were far too narrow for my feet, which are super wide to begin with. I. Then discovered that Merrell doesn't make barefoot trail runners in "wide" any longer, so I can't replace the amazing pair I got about 10 years ago that now need replaced. I'm very sad about that. Guess I can't be a Merrell customer any more.

Five stars fr Merrell Trail Glove up to 5th iteration. Easily the best transition-to-minimalist shoe out there. The sweet spot between protection and barefoot feel. MTG 6 is built on different last. Gone is the roomy toebox. Bought a pair and returned right away. Shame.

Though I called the day I received my shoes to exchange them for a smaller size, I was told I couldn't. Merrell shoes do tend to be true to size, but this particular model was not. Now I have a pair of shoes I cannot wear because they don't fit.
