They were a bit too small, smaller than the trail glove 5 so I would buy them right at my usual size. I use them to play pickleball

Took it mud running up and down a few mountains. I am pleased with the overall performance and quality. However, there is a bit of an arch in the shoe, if it were flatter, this would be a 5 star review.

Compared to my trail glove 4, a little hard to get on (so far, maybe they'll get easier with more use). Once they are on, they are wonderfully minimal. I like the color a lot more than I thought I would. The blue is a nice touch

Overall I have been satisfied and feel the marketing and description of the shoe is accurate. I was hoping for an easier time slipping them on and off however once they are on they are very comfortable. They have recently been my go to like hiking and even some trail running shoe. I would hope in the future for some spikes or grips for more slick rocks or loose dirt, so far no issue merely a desire of mine as I have hopped from rock to rock on a dry day no issues thus far

Got this shoe a couple weeks ago for day hikes and wearing around town. The fit goes with the name. They really do fit like a glove. Super light weight. Lots of arch support, I was concerned almost too much at first, but they do flatten out as you get moving. Tough, firm rubber soles that grab the earth and stick to rocks when scrambling. They honestly get more comfortable the longer I walk in them even started biking in them. Wouldn't expect any less from a Merrell shoe.

This is not a barefoot-style shoe, it is a minimalist trail running shoe. If that is what you need, it is a great shoe. The arch support is significant, but I don't mind. I am using it for cross-training.

I would say to order a half size larger than the trail glove 5. Description suggests to order same size as the 5. I should have returned the 10.5 for an 11 but was to excited to do so. I figured with a little break in they'd be fine. I ended up ordering an 11 in the navy blue as well and they fit perfect. Not as comfortable out of the box as the 5 but love the trail glove functionality and style and these will do just fine. I have the last 4 iterations of this line and feel this is the best looking model yet!

I like that the fit is snugger than the TG5s, I also like that the tread seems more aggressive. I wish there was less arch support out of the box, but I know it will pack down with wear, as it did with the TG5s. I noticed there is a 1mm drop. It's not much, but I wonder why not 0mm. Overall seems like an improvement over the TG5, but would like 0 drop and less arch support out of the box.

I have had these for a little over two weeks now and run about 25 miles in them along with a number of gym workouts. I have owned many previous versions of the trail gloves and these may be my favorite ones yet! They give a much more supportive feel around the arch and the bands attached to the laces create a wonderful glove like feel but still allowing your toes and forefoot to move naturally.

These run both narrow and short. I would have returned them but I wore them outside.

I own or have owned 4 other pairs of Merrell hiking boots/shoes/trail runners, all in 8 1/2 M, which fit well in both length and width. But the 8 1/2 M in the Oakcreek has noticeably more room in the toe box and is a wider fit in general. Usually I like to wear thin socks, but I need a thicker sport-sock for a snugger fit in the Oakcreek. And the arch support is not as natural-feeling as my other Merrells. Otherwise it has all the trademark Merrell characteristics...minimal break-in period required; fairly comfortable out of the box; almost a cross between a hiking shoe and a sneaker; looks good; sole has good grip. Oh, one other minor complaint. The laces could be about 2" shorter. Almost as if Merrell supplied the wrong laces.

Bought in February, starting pulling apart in October (shoe to outer sole). Expected to last longer, have other Merrell shoes, usually last years, just need to change out inserts, so disappointed with this style. I only wear 3 days a week on concrete floors inside... But, very comfortable for work, shoe laces are too long for the style.

Positives: Vibram sole, enough protection for most trails, side impact protection as well as impact protection for the sole, decent ground feel, heel is not too wide, and wide forefoot. Negatives: a little tight in the midfoot, prefer more traditional lacing instead of loops, arch protection comes up nearly halfway up the side of the shoe.

LOVE the look and feel of this shoe. Has become my everyday shoe around the house, out and about and short walks in the neighborhood. Decided to post a review to warn others about what I would call premature wear of the lining and collar on the inside of the shoes behind the heel. Right shoe is completely worn through the inner lining and left shoe is not far behind. Never happened on a pair of 8-year-old Merrells I used quite heavily for many of those years. Tread wearing out on those but that is to be expected. Bought Merrell again (2 pair of Oakcreek in different colors) based on that first experience.

A little bit too large say 1/4 inch at the toe. Same size as I had before which were Merrell Continuum and are still the most comfortable shoe I have.

I really like the Trail Glove shoes. My latest shoes, the 6, just didn't last as long as I would have liked. Tore out a shoelace eyelet after 6 months of not hard use. Looking carefully at the other holes, it looks like those are going to pull through soon, too. Hopefully, the 7 is better made.

Very narrow fit, should be mentioned in size description. I don't have wide feet, chose medium and having problems putting the shoes on. Once I get them on they fit tight but very comfortable.

I bought these for trail runs, but they are incredibly narrow. I even went up a size but it didn't fix anything. I have been running with Vapor Glove shoes for years all in the same size. These need to be redesigned. Merrell doesn't seem to care and will only charge you money if you want to swap these for shoes that were designed with attention to detail. Swing and a miss, very unfortunate

After many years wearing barefoot shoes i can confirm that this one is not a barefoot shoe. The sole is thick and the arche support is uncomfortable high. I just can't feel the underground. Anyways the shoe is nice, good quality, beuatiful design, and the shoes are comfortable for running, but the toes feel a little squeezed.

Arches feel very high despite the shoe being marketed as a barefoot shoe. I expected the thicker sole, since this is a trail model, but the high arch was unexpected.

It is a good show but it is not a true barefoot shoe. It should be advertised as a minimalist shoe, not a barefoot.
