I thought they were way to small, but when I finally got them on, they became quite comfortable. I look forward to warmer, dryer weather. Walks with the dog have been great though.

One of the few hiking shoes that fit. I have a very wide foot, most are too narrow. Good for modest OR hiking

Not as comfortable feel on the bottom of my foot as other Merrill's. I'll probably need sole inserts.

Arch support is nice, i use them for my kettlebell work and some 3 mile treadmill runs. Tight getting into them but good for overall fit and feel.
I have been 10.5 since high school and both merrell shoes I recently had to get in a size 10

Fabulous minimalist footwear. This is my third time buying these and each time they've lasted 2-3 years. My only complaint with this iteration is how the final shoe lace holes are weirdly too high. Like if I'm tying them quickly, the laces will go behind the top of the shoe tongue. Otherwise fabulous for the price.

I've purchased so many pairs of Merrills ive lost track however I love everyone the only reason I have these a 4 instead of 5 is they are not only wide but seem to be super wide

I bought three pairs as I wanted to find a new alternative to my aging NB MT10s. Just arrived and they look awesome. Put them on and larger toebox that I liked .... BUT the arch support is going to be way too much. Not sure if my feet can adjust as it is very pronounced. Deciding if need to return now.

I go through a pair of hikers every 6-12 months and have purchased many Merrell shoes in the past. This model is slightly wider and not as nice of a fit as the previous ones I've owned. I was also looking for a shoe everyday walking in winter but they are NOT good on ice. Might have to pack them away until summer! Otherwise overall a good shoe, Merrells are always reliable.

Most shoes are too narrow for my feet. Ended up getting the wide version of this one. It gave my feet enough room after wearing them all day

The trail glove continues to be my favorite shoe. They have made some changes and I don't think they are a good as they used to be. The toe box has gotten narrower and there is less flex in the sole out of the box. I really wish they would go back to the wider toe box from when it first came out 10+ years ago. Regardless, still the best show on the market in my opinion.

These are snugger to put on, but you feel locked in once they're on your feet. I was afraid that they were too narrow judging by their looks and snugness in getting my feet into them. Happy to say that they are only slightly narrower than my other Merrel's. Very comfortable on long walks through the city.

Shoes wear great, plenty wide. Hopefully they won't discontinue these shoes

Once broke in these shoes are very comfortable. They give great support in the arch and the sole grips well

Same fit and ride as the 5 with a bit better grip / tread on the outsole. Not sure I understand the benefit of the new lacing system... feels a bit overcomplicated to me and makes dialing in the tightening a challenge in that area of the foot. I also hope the web straps that hold the laces last the 400+ miles I plan to log in these shoes.

They're perfect for trails but for sand climbing they tend to be slippery. Overall, great shoes to hike

I got a pair of these a few years back and they quickly became my daily drivers when it got warm out. Easy to slip on and walk out the door, comfortable enough to wear all day no matter what I was doing. The bottoms are VERY grippy, which was great for hiking or walking around, but wasn't great for my disc golf game. My OG pair lasted 3 seasons and I'm buying another pair!

Have worked great for trail runs in the mountains and long coastal hike including over lava rock. Somewhat slippery on my MTB pedals though.

Comfortable, good grip in Sequoia/King's Canyon NP. Put a lot of miles on them and feel never bothered me.

They seem super sturdy and are super comfy, just wish they were a lil more breathable, it's 106 in Texas right now. Well worth the purchase, don't wear my Nikes anymore, they've been replaced.

What i like: They are light. They keep you close to the ground while still protecting you from it. They fit nicely once they are on. They look nice enough to wear as casual shoes with jeans/shorts.
What i don't like: There is some elastic across the top of the foot. With some previous Merrell low-profile models, i could leave them tied and slip them on and off. For these i have to untie them and stretch the tongue open with my hand to get my feet in. It does get a little better as the elastic wears over time.

I bought a pair of Trail Glove 6 last year, and have run close to 1000 km in them since, on all surfaces, including long stretches of road. Typical run is between 10k and half-marathon distance. I love the 0 drop, thin sole, which gives good feeling and direct feedback, while not feeling quite as brutal as more extreme barefoot shoes do. I have a bad back, but have never experienced any pain since transitioning to the Trail Glove. I'm about to order my next pair. One negative point: the shoe is starting to tear up on the side, at the junction between the sole and the upper part. I still expect to get a few hundred more km out of this pair, though. I would still rate it as my best running shoe ever, with a solid margin.
