I have a high instep in both feet and so I always order wide shoes! However these slipper-shoes have a tight fit on the instep - to be sure they stay "on" while walking, I believe. Anyway I had difficulty slipping then on. But once they were on, they were wonderful.

Shoes were immediately comfortable. Fit is great. I am very pleased with this purchase. Not sure about longevity , but so far so good.

I like these shoes. The only drawback with them is the insoles, which I replaced. I have another pair of Merrell shoes with "floatpro" insoles that are way more comfortable.

Nice light shoe but when I tried it on indoors it was a size to small and my gait was leaning inside. Would likely be a great shoe for an individual that is 175lbs or less.

Bought these shoes a year back, have used them for general light hiking when boots were unnecessary
Issues after a year;
After a year of use, the rubber outer sole has started to lose adhesion to the main shoe, the water proof lining has run its course despite re-proofing. The back heel portion has worn thin. Some of the issues started popping up around there 6 month area but they shoe remained functional until the water proofing failed
Not the most supportive in rough or overly wet terrain. But comfortable and easy to break in. Good product for cost.

Good, too much support. I like the idea they're trying to achieve, but there is too much arch support.

Like the feel of the sole. I found for my foot shape the toe box could be a bit wider but overall an nice product

These are the same quality, athletic shoes that Merrill is known for. They fit well, they are comfortable, and they are durable. One thing that is different, and it is a complaint, is that the laces are significantly longer than I am accustomed to. Even when I double bow them, they are still too long and frequently get in the way when I'm power walking.

Very good shoes but not enough wide compare to older trail glove models

I have purchased and worn every generation of Merrell Trail Glove from the Series 3 onward. I have been extremely satisfied with every version, even though the shoe evolved a bit over time.
I was initially skeptical of the Trail Glove 6 - putting them on for the first time, they felt harder and tighter than previous versions. However, after about 7-10 days of wearing them, the level of comfort increased as my feet and the shoes settled into their relationship. Now, I barely notice that I'm wearing them most of the time!
I wear my Trail Glove 6s all day long and engage in a variety of activities (mostly walking over 5 miles /day). I find them to be comfortable, suitable, and stylish for anything that my feet are required to endure. The only issue I've ever had was tread-wear on each pair; however, every pair has lasted me about 2 years with no problem.
I'm a big fan of this shoe series and Merrell footwear in general. Over the last 15 yrs, I've worn nothing else!

Trekked 98 miles through Europe with the Trail Glove-6 over the last eighteen days. Stable shoe and useful in all weather conditions.

A caveat, I have never worn trail runners before, and I needed to get used to them, now I really like them, but not every day.

slightly tight in toes and arch, this was all fixed in Trail Glove 7. After two years I lost some pieces of tread (again this has seemingly been addressed in TG7)

I have been used to running barefoot or minimal shoes, these are no minimal shoes, they got this intrusive arch support and decent amount of cushioning. They fit like gloves, but they are a bit cumbersome to put on.They offer much more support than expected, good for someone transitioning to barefoot running. Overall good shoes.

Great shoes, light & comfortable. Only problem is laces always untie themselves.

Excellent shoe and an improvement on previous models. Great stability without compromising the intimate barefoot feel. Great on trails.

I bought these online because i liked trailglove 4. I use them mainly for outdoor distance running. Per the merrel instructions on their web site, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller trailglove 6 than my old trailglove 4. At first I thought the new shoes were way too small but it turns out they fit like a glove. The sole seems a bit more beefy than before and there seems to be a stiffer midsole than the trailglove 4, which I hope loosens up a bit because I was hoping for more of a barefoot experience (I don't need support). The toe box seems a bit more narrow. With some more use I think they will stretch and provide a similar comfy "I'm barely wearing shoes". experience to the 4's.

Good looking shoes/sneakers with the arch support I need. Unfortunately, long ago and far away, I was in an accident and lost my Left foot from just behind the Ball forward. And, as, with most tie shoes, the seam where the lacing is attached to the toe/tongue is right on the surgical scar. I've learned to live with the toe turning up, but, I can't handle the resulting action of that seam. I live in hope that someday .....

Very well crafted shoe. Love the style but it is taking a while to break in. Very narrow and actually hurts my feet by the end of the day. I have had them for two week now and I am hoping they break in a little more in time.

I have a truncated left foot, amputated just behind the ball, from a mining accident. The ends of my stump line up with the end of the leather pieces containing the lacing holes, and the pressure on my tarsal ends is painful. The Merrill slip-ons that I have don't have that joint in the leather and are comfortable, but, not really designed for exercising.
I'd also recommend:
Clark Wallabees used to be a favorite, but I haven't seen them for several years.

I've had a few different types of minimalist shoes and most of them have such a thin sole that I feel rocks poking into my feet! These have just enough sole thickness to all but prevent this from happening all while giving the feel of comfort. They also have the most arch support of any other similar type of shoe that I've tried! I'm wearing the black version of them almost daily and my feet feel as good as they get. While I'm not a barefoot person and always wear socks and shoes, these have me wanting another pair in green so I can wear them when I work. I go through a pair of shoes in a season cutting grass, using a string trimmer and doing other landscaping work.
I have a pair of Vapor Glove 5 shoes that I ordered and for some reason they are creating pressure on the back of my feet and I haven't been able to wear them for more than 10 minutes!
I have to return them. This is where I wish they had a store front to do returns.
