i find this newer style clunky as ever. i loved the originals but this shoe is heavy and clunky all around. the closures are even too much around my upper foot and no i am not that sensitive my foot hurts after wearing them all day. they are also extremely heavy.

The rubber is coming unglued from the bottom of shoe. I only wore them for 2 weeks. My first pair Gaviota 1 did the same things and sole wore out in 3 months. I use these shoes for work only. Stick with Bondhi or Arahi.

I have always worn a size 6 but I may need a larger size. I was out of the country and had to wear them. They feel too snug and I got blisters.
I am guessing a 6 1/2 or 7 may have been a better choice.

I'm on my feet 8 to 12 hours a day. Was doing a lot of 12s until recently. My first pair of Hoka's were the Bondi 7 and I LOVED them. The Gaviotta's however, made my left foot hurt the first day I wore them. I was able to sell them to a friend because she'd had the Gaviotta's before & loved them. Then she got the Bondi's & didn't like them.

I am wearing the product on my feet. This brand of show I am not impressed with. I purchased them off the HOKA website under the orthopedic catergory of their own website. They hurt my feet and make my knees constantly ache. I had to stop wearing them and buy another pair sketchers and wear them. These shoes are not worth what I paid for them.

I loved the Graviota 2 and the Clifton. I assumed I could trust the brand at that point and when my other pairs wore out I ordered the Graviota 3 and when I tried them on, I thought they sent the wrong size. very narrow in the toe box and tight across the foot. But I kept them thinking I was just lacing them too tight and since the Graviota 2 worked so well these would be fine. But they are not. My toes are cramped in the tip of the shoe, the toe box is much narrower than the Graviota 2 and the lacing system is a pain. For this price it's heartbreaking to eat that loss but I had to buy New Balances because I couldn't keep wearing these with the pain in the toe box.

I ordered wide shoes, but these were only wide on the rubber part, the cloth part was not wide, it pinched my foot.
I won't order anymore Hoka shoes, this is my second return, they are either too big or too small.

I prob won't get these again. They're comfortable but part of the soul started coming off after wearing twice. Such a waste of money.

i bought these shoes back in september to wear at a job where i am standing for 10+ hours at a time. they were awesome at first. but now, over the last couple months, they have become very uncomfortable. i work 10 hour shifts 4 days a week and i switch shoes every day to make them last longer. so i only wear these twice a week. but they are still sooooo uncomfortable. painful, even. only two or so hours into my shift, it feels like i'm standing on concrete. i've grown to despise them.

Feb 2022 I bought 2 pairs of Hoka Gaviota 3's, Womens size 7.5. I was excited to receive them as these have been a rare find with global shipping problems. The shoes were 1/2 inch narrower by measurement than my other two pair which are 2 & 3 years old. They are too narrow for me. I have been wearing Gaviota for 8 years for foot problems and they are great for stability and cushioning.

I loved, loved, loved my size 8 Gaviota 2 shoes. I have a wide foot and high instep and was perfectly happy with the Gaviota 2 design. But they finally wore down. And that model is no longer available. So I naturally tried the Gaviota 3. Sad to say the toe box on the Gaviota 3 is much too narrow and my toe (even in the size 8) hit the end of the shoe. Sending these back and will look for another model of the Hoka running shoes. So disappointed when shoe makers make unnecessary changes to a perfectly designed shoe.
I'd also recommend:
Keens and Birkenstock are my go to brands

Despite hating the colors, I loved my two pairs of wide-fit Graviota 2 sneakers, and looked forward to getting the Graviota 3 in wide in a better color. I'm so disappointed in the narrowing of the toe box for the Graviota 3. And to make matters worse, the lacing system for Graviota 3 is just awful. And with the narrowing of the toe box, I have to loosen and tighten the laces all the way down to the toes every morning. So I curse the ridiculous lacing system on the daily. Graviota 2 changed my life. I hated the colors, but they kept me on my feet for 10+ hours a day. I will willingly pay twice as much for multiple pairs of a true wide-fit shoe that's easy to lace up if you make it available in a wide selection of colors. Please, Hoka, listen to your people!

I was expecting a more Comfortable shoe. The shoe is nice and good for stability purposes but doesn't have a lot of comfort to it. They also have a high heel so you are taller. Not an issue for me but was hard to get use to. Overall I like the HOKA for stability but I will be trying a different shoe.

I selected the Gaviota3 because it's available in wide and I needed the stability due to hip and knee problems. This sneaker delivers when it comes to stability but I found my usual size ,81/2 Wide, too narrow to the point that I needed to get them off within 20 minutes after putting them on. My feet felt crushed. Keep in mind that I'm on the borderline of Medium & wide so the wide should have plenty of room, but it doesn't. I also don't care for the stiff fabric. I hope Hoka will redesign this shoe to allow more room in the footbed (a true Wide) and a more breathable fabric. I will be returning them.

I use these shoes at work, walking on carpeted floor only. The shoe feels good and comfortable.
My issue with the shoe is the inferior glued-on loops that hold the laces. After 10 uses, the loops came apart. I lace my shoes very loosely, so there was no stress on the loops.

These shoes are very comfortable and look nice, but the quality is poor. I only wear them for running errands or going on walks and my big toe started ripping through the top of one of the shoes (after only a few months). I ordered a size down in a different color thinking it wouldn’t happen again because my toe would be closer to the tip of the shoes. Turns out the smaller size is very uncomfortable and squeezes my feet. Need to return as a result.
Another issue I encountered was that a long, thin piece of mulch pierced through the sole of the shoe and poked me in the bottom of my foot. Very painful.

Absolutely adored my Gaviota 2s. They were instantly comfortable, and I wore them all day everyday. They solved my plantar fasciitis heel pain. When I wore them out, I decided I needed another pair, and got the Gaviota 3s.
Unfortunately, these shoes have brought back the excruciating heel pain I haven't felt in nearly 2 years. The sole is so, so firm. It has no give. The Gaviota 2s were a stability shoe, but the sole had a little give and cushion too. These also give me pain in my arch and outer foot. I wish I could return them.
This is making me wonder whether Hoka quality has gone down as they've become trendier and more popular.
I wish I could still buy the Gaviota 2s. Please bring them back!!
