I wanted to love these shoes. So very comfortable with standing. I have a weak arch/flat feet and need super support to help with overpronating. These shoes do try to correct the way I walk, but they just didn't have enough stability in the inner part of the shoe. My feet still rolled inward and as a result I got sore arches and then later sore hips. They did feel a little loose in the heel and there is also a seam in a real bad spot on the inner part of the shoe that rubs arch. The customer support and Hoka One One guarantee will keep me coming back looking for my perfect shoe.

I absolutely loved the Gaviota 2; it was like walking on a pillow. When the Gaviota 3 emerged I was expecting the same cushion experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The cushion is "harder," and my feet, knee, and toe are hurting after I walk on them. Still hoping I can break them in, but am seriously considering getting a different pair with a softer cushion.

They comfortably fit my feet and every step feels like I'm bouncing on tiny trampolines... but they make my feet feel big. All my attention is on my feet and how big and bouncy they feel.

I loved the shoes however I have an old knee injury and wearing the shoes aggravated it for some reason.

The shoes are comfortable enough but I can't wear them all day due to these running smaller than the previous version. And what's with the shoestrings? Both these and the Gaviota 2 ha e shoestrings that are ridiculously long.

The profile of the shoe is so much clunky or than what I'm used to. Still trying to find my "footing".

My right food is much smaller than the left foot. Very comfortable on the left foot but slips on my ankle! So far not sure this is the right shoe for me.

I've had several pairs of this shoe previously in both Gaviota 1 and Gaviota 2 models and have been extremely pleased with them. Just received the new Gaviota 3 but am returning them. The new model is longer and wider than previous models in the exact same size, so the shoes are too big on me. I ordered these online, but once I realized they weren't going to work, I went to a local store that carries them and tried on 1/2 size smaller to see how they fit. They still felt different than my previous Gaviotas even in the smaller size. The support in the arch is hitting differently and is more stiff, making the shoe is not quite as comfortable for my foot. They have no give in them at all. If you like very strong support in your arch, you may really like it, but it did not work for me. I tried on the Clifton model while I was at the store and bought a pair of those, and I like them a lot. Very supportive, but also comfortable for my foot. I've always been very happy with the Gaviota so I think this is just a function of this new version just not being best option for my foot but the Clifton model so far feels like it's going to be a great alternative choice.

I don’t have have my shoes with me to take pictures of. But after less than a year of purchase and using these shoes for occasional walking only, the rubber soles are coming loose. I loved these shoes but considering how much they cost, this should never happen. I’ve had shoes for YEARS at a way lower price point that’s never done this. I’m not investing in another pair.

I was in gym class and I feel off the low steppers. Next thing I know when I would walk the soles would make noise. So the soles had torn somehow. I don't know if it happened in class or my every day walk to the Metro. Either way I had t had them for 30 days when it happened. I am doing my review late. I still wear them but the torn parts are noisy

I purposefully got these shoes bc they were supposed to be the best for high arches they just gave me callouses in a little different spot but I still don't have the arch support to walk on my whole foot all of the pressure goes to my big toe and the bone behind an make callouses

These have a small, tight toebox. I am a runner (around 10mi/week) who stretches and warms ups before each run. These shoes have caused my feet to hurt and I now have shin splints when I haven't before. I am so sad. Should have stuck with the Arahi.

I wouldn't buy this shoe again because it didn't have enough arch support for me. I have a very high arch and the shoe felt flat inside. I think the overall shoe was great quality just not the fit I needed so I returned it.

I considero the product isn't bad but for my flat flexible foot it didn't help. It was hard where it was supposed to help in my foot.

I love, love, love my Rincon 3's but with walking so much thought I'd try an even more supportive shoe. The second I opened the box I knew they weren't for me. They looked so clunky and kind of ugly I knew there was no way I was going to keep them. I sent them back for a refund, I don't even think I put them on. I pray they don't ever get rid of the Rincon because they are perfect for me.
