My new go-to sneakers when it's raining. Socks and feet stay dry even when I walk my dogs through wet grass. Took a few weeks to break them in. They felt really stiff and uncomfortable along the top at first, but loosening the laces and wearing thicker socks helped. I didn't need to size up like I usually do with Merrell hiking boots/shoes. Just wish they came in a wide width.

This sneaker as comfortable as my other Merrell products. I've not tried any sneakers before but I had no doubt it would be very comfortable. I have only had them for about a week so have not tested the waterproof ability yet. Merrell is a good product so I don't think I will have any issues.

I am happy about the purchase of the shoes. They are comfortable, as I expect a Merrell to be. Wore shoes all day long. My feat are happy. Merrell shoes never disappoint :)

Bought these for a week of hiking in glacier and did over 35 miles in the week and these shows were great. I tested them in the water and they were definitely water proof. A good buy!

Overall appearance was good except it's tight inside, hope they make a wider one. The shoelace hook broke when I was trying to loosen it, I ended up returning it for replacement.

They are so comfortable and they don't need any break in time. They are wear and go out of the box. I gave it 4 stars cause the make a crinkle sound when walking. I have a few light hikes of 5 miles each and they still make the sound.

Good waterproof shoes are key for my job. I was so excited to order these shoes. Not only were they waterproof the also were cute. Unfortunately they were way to narrow for me had to return and order my usual MOAB 2. I really hope they make these in a wide soon!

I really like the fact that these shoes are as clunky as other hiking shoes and can also be worn around casually. I definitely took the advice of others and sized up half a size and it was very comfortable. I wore this on a quick uphill hike for about a mile round trip and I was impressed with how firm my feet were planted as I was making my way downhill. Also used these shoes to ride my bike and it was very lightweight! Very excited to take these to Yosemite in the next couple weeks.

I loved everything about this shoe BUT, the fabric comes up too high against my ankle bones and it rubbed uncomfortably. Sad, but returning for a different pair.

I have a high arch and normal-wide width feet. I normally get a 7 in shoes. I ordered a 7 in these, but ended up exchanging for a 7.5. 7s were pretty tight and after less than a mile walk I got blisters. Took a 5 mile light hike in the 7.5s and felt pretty great! So, of if your feet aren't narrow or semi-flat, I would consider sizing up. Especially if you plan to wear wool socks with them. Love the modern design and stability, especially since this is my first pair of hiking shoes!

I wanted to love these shoes! I'd finally tossed my last Merrells, the best pair ever. The Bravada looked comfy. I was excited. It's been two weeks and I'm definitely still breaking them in. I was expecting no breakin period based on other reviews. My feet aren't happy enough in the shoes yet and I've been walking miles in the daily. Better but not their yet. I figure a month. They do see to be made well and are sturdy!

Fit is great! The shoes are light and durable. The waterproofing is excellent. Worn them around on some medium grade trails.

I've used these for both hiking and running thus far, very versatile! Comfortable and supportive while maintaining a less bulky shoe for just hiking. Love the waterproof feature!

I am happy with this shoe! I wore them around the house for a couple of hours, and my only complaint is a small piece of plastic sticks in my ankle, once I wear socks I'm sure it will be ok! Very comfortable!

Good hiking/walking shoe. Arch support not quite as much as Merrell boots, but I just insert orthotics. Good looking. Very comfortable right out of the box. True to size.

The shoe makes you feel snug to the ground and solid in rainy conditions. It's sturdy and I feel confident walking miles and miles with my trusty dog at my side.

Why doesn't Merrell make wide widths for womens' shoes?

I got these for my hike on the Inca Trail and they did really well initially. I would have rated these a 5 star until I got on to the wet rocks. That's when I found the rubbery soles did not help me one bit. I used hiking poles and my swift moves to keep me from falling down some shifty slopes. But I will say overall the shoes were very sturdy for what I needed in these trails over 4 days of hiking the Andes to get to Machu Picchu. I typically wear a size 9 and got a size 10. I found that I was wearing them too tight at tge beginning so I needed to let the shoe strings out to give in my hike. That helped quite a bit. I also wire smartwool socks to add in NY cushioning of my hike and to not get any blisters as we hiked between 8 to 12.5 hours a day for 4 days. It was pretty grueling but worthwhile. The shoes never tore apart and held intact. Again for tge mere suck of not having good traction on wet Inca rocks this would have been a 5 star rating.

These just did not feel good on my feet. I tried redoing the laces but they didn't feel good - one had a spot in the heel area that bothered me and they both seemed to cause pronation which is not a problem of mine. Liked the idea of a waterproof shoe, so will start the search over.

Why is the shoe SO narrow? I do not have wide feet. I am a solid B width for women, and I cannot believe how narrow the forefoot area is on this shoe. I could tell when I pulled it out of the box it was going to be too narrow. I do not understand how anyone can fit into these unless you have "pencil" feet. So disappointed in Merrell. These shoes do not even look like the normal shape of a foot.

Love the style and fit but the material makes a crinkly sound when you walk. At first I thought I had accidentally left some of the packaging tissue inside the shoes. Very annoying. I don't want to hear that when I'm hiking. Too bad, will be returning

These fit true to size but the light blue color was boring and the toe box felt like there was wrinkled material in it. I returned them.
