So far I love these hiking shoes. They kept my feet dry and were very comfortable

Lightweight and comfortable. Very supportive (even for feet with loads of issues) and required virtually no break-in period. Highly recommend if you're looking for a lighter hiking shoe!

I bought these shoes for work. I'm an OR nurse always on my feet. Merrell's were recommended to me by coworkers and I was not let down. My feet are not as sore by the end of a 10+ hour shift and I live that their waterproof.

Definitely a good hiker and waterproof

These shoes were comfortable the first time I put them on. There was no need to break them in. Around my ankle, they have a close, sock-like fit and this reduces the chance of rubbing and chaffing. I love them!

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Not hiking shoes, all shoes. I'm out there hiking, 10 miles in on rugged terrain, through mud and shallow creek crossings and I feel like I just put on my house slippers. Absolutely amazing. I bought a full size larger than street size because I wear toe socks and my feet swell on longer hikes and they fit perfectly. They cleaned up very nicely after a very muddy hike. My husband got jealous and orders his own.

I walk/hike with a black lab every morning 3-5 miles in all weather. I love that the Bravada fits like a sneaker for every day, but is built for hiking in all weather and trail conditions. I will be ordering more than one pair!! Highly recommend!!

Have bought both Merrell shoes and hiking boots before. I was looking for something just like this so when I got an email about this shoe. I bought it! I wanted something that fit like a sneaker but could handle a little hiking in the woods a few miles or so. They are amazing right out of the box they were comfy no break in needed. And they grip the dirt ground well so no need for me to worry in the woods. They aren't at all stiff like a hiking shoe so don't worry. But if you are looking to do a lot of hiking with these and your Someone who always ends up rolling your ankle on a rock or stick like me might want to stick to your Moabs for the added stability. But if that's not a problem for you than you will love them to bits! I love these and look forward to putting them though everyday wear and my daily local hikes in the woods.

I wanted to wait awhile to give these shoes an honest, time-tested review and they have not disappointed since the day they arrived a few months ago. There was no need to break them in and I have worn them for several activities from long walks along a rugged creek path with my dogs to hiking up steep, rocky hills after a heavy rain in Northern California, where I live. They are much more lightweight than a hiking boot and don't have that clunky, chunky look the way true hiking boots do, yet they are much more sturdy and supportive than a regular walking/running shoe. I definitely would purchase this again and am waiting patiently until the black pair comes back into stock my size :)

Took them out of the box and hiked 5 rainy, muddy miles today. My feet stayed completely dry. These shoes have great support for my high arches. The sole has great traction & grip, especially on rocks and slippery surfaces. The higher ankle has more support tha trail runners, but is so much lighter than a hiking boot. I would highly recommend these shoes!

I never hike but is this shoe better than Brooks for running and gym activities

I just got my Bravadas today, put them on, and they are so comfortable. My feet are totally encapsulated in support. I usually will have to take out the insole and put in my arch supports, not with the Bravada, Thank you for making a shoe that really fits!! I love them.

I am an active 66 year old woman and in recent years traditional leather hiking shoes have caused me pain in my instep. I have been looking for a waterproof hiking shoe that is a cross between a sneaker and a hiking shoe. The Bravado waterproof appears to fit the bill. I was impressed that the shoe is quite substantial, providing good support but soft and flexible enough to keep my foot pain free.

I usually don't treat myself to new sneakers but felt I needed to. It has been a very wet spring and needed good shoes that weren't boots that I could wear in the rain. These are comfortable and the perfect color for me. I'm so glad i spend the money! Might even buy a second pair!

They fit perfect, I have only been able to walk up to 3 miles, but hope to get some hiking in soon. They are very comfortable & I love the colors.

I've been searching for a pair of trail running/hiking shoes. These are perfect. They fit true to size. So comfortable and light. Again, I have never been disappointed with my Merrell footwear!

I love the concept of this shoe, my only issue with it is there is a really tight seam on the tongue that goes over the top of the middle of your foot. You can't adjust it. The shoe is too tight and narrow mid foot to be able to comfortably wear this shoe.

I could tell as soon as I put these on I was going to like them. They're light, and not clunky on my narrow foot.

This is the first time I have bought a pair of Merrell shoes. I am a brooks running shoe fan. I love my new pair of Merrill's. They are sturdy, very comfortable, and provide the upmost stability of my foot and ankle. The soles of this shoe have soft spike like projections which provide good stability and cushion on uneven surfaces. This added structure on the soles of the shoe really do provide protection for the soles of my foot when I'm walking or running. It cushions and prevents the bottom of my foot from slamming onto the pavement. I use the shoes for walking, and some running. They shoes are made very well and with high-quality material. I would buy another pair and I would recommend to anybody who has considered switching from Brooks to Merrells One thing I would wish the company would do is get some help in coordinating the colors of your shoes. Maybe try some softer colors. Thanks Merrell company !

I got this since I work in a doctor's office an go on walks during my lunch or after work. I did have to put my arch supports in them to help. But they are so comfortable on my walks an around the office. I look forward to putting more work in on them. I just hope sizes get restocked too. So I can get another pair one to leave at work an one for home life.

I hike often along trails in the park near my home and on longer hikes with my dog. I've used tennis shoes or running shoes for a while and I really wish I'd gotten these shoes sooner! They have a wide base and good grip which allows better balance than I've ever had. They are immediately comfortable without having a wearing in period. I've only had them for about a week so far but with as much as we're out walking along creeks and up trails I'll get great use out of these. I got my regular size and found them to fit perfectly.

Love these shoes. They fit perfectly and are comfortable. I have a very high instep but doesn't seem a problem with these shoes. No rubbing or discomfort. I love that they are waterproof. Got them for my daily short hikes with my dogs. Puddles not a problem. They look good too. Very happy with them.
