This is my first pair of Merrell's I am now sold! I was worried about ordering online due to not knowing my size in this brand, however I followed the size chart and measured and they fit perfectly! These shoes required no break in period, I went for a hike right out of the box and had no issues. The stability they provide is unmatchable for any other sneaker, they feel like a boot on your foot, (without being heavy or bulky). Yesterday, I was able to test their waterproof ability while trekking back a muddy creek trail and my feet stayed dry! Love these!!!!

The first day I wore these sneaker/hikers I walked 3.4 miles with no problem. I had a knee replacement 8 weeks ago and wanted shoes that would support my recovery as well as absorb some of the shock while walking. These shoes did all of that. The tongue of this shoe is attached to the sides of the shoe which makes it easy to get on and adjust for tying. I couldn't be happier. I'm going to purchase a second pair to have for reserve. I highly recommend them!!!!!!!

I got to wear this on one good hike prior to our Stay At Home orders in CA. Now I find myself wanting to put them on for walks from my home and the urban trails I know just up the street. The Bravada is so hard to put into words, because there is nothing like it. The shoe itself for wearing is SO comfortable. The upper is soft and flexible, what I like to call 'bouncy'. It's roomy, but still holds your foot in place. The thick is rugged, thick, and trusty. These are all words you could only know and understand after wearing them! Highly recommend!

I'm a brewer and was in need of a comfortable waterproof shoe. The Bravada has been an excellent choice. With them being waterproof and lightweight and breathable. These are far outperforming the previous shoes I've had.

Comfortable right out of the box. Good support. The sole is much more flexible than other hiking shoes/boots. The collar is higher than a sneaker and lower than a boot - keeps sand and gravel out of your shoe.

My first time wearing my Bravada's was on a 4 mile hike carrying the kids. Instantly, I loved how comfortable and flexible the shoes felt- no "break in" period was required. I was able to hike for several miles without any rubbing, stiffness, or blisters. The thing that really sold me on the Bravada's was the grippiness of the sole. I was able to confidently hike up and down steeper rocky slabs, navigate gravely sections of trail, and move easily over slippery, wet logs. The color of the shoe is great too. These are a keeper!

Solid, grippy, and comfortable. These will be my "up north" pair of all around shoes.

Great shoes for cool/rainy weather. I bought for a vacation in the tropics; we were expecting rain during our hikes. It did not rain after all but I feel they would have done a great job because they are super warm on my feet.

I bought a pair in the aluminum color because they were comfortable as a casual shoe and I've always liked Merrell shoes. I decided to buy a second pair in blue, but after only a few times wearing them, the lace hook at the toe of the boot came off when I was lacing the shoe.. There is no other way of hooking the lace, so I will have to try to improvise a solution because the shoe won't fit properly if I can't lace it correctly. Very disappointed in what was a really good shoe.

I found my feet did get a little wet in the rain. The fit was excellent & true to size. Very comfortable.

Poor SupportGreat Support
Wore these on a recent trip to New Mexico and did a few easy hikes in them. Great support and great tread - didn't feel like I was going to slip on the rocks and I couldn't feel the ground at all as we hiked over rough terrain. I have issues with my Achilles and I was worried that the heel would bother me, but it was fine and very supportive. Can't speak to how they hold up in wet conditions. Plus they're cute1

All of my other Merrells are a size 9 M and they fit me perfectly. These waterproof shoes fit small and I have had to return them. Will size up and try again. I am also disappointed they don't have a rock plate which is safer for hiking.

This is a great hiking shoe with excellent grip for rocky trails. I wish I had bought half a size larger! They aren't as comfortable when I wear thick socks.

Looks are great just wish they had a white pair. Comfort level 4 because where the tongue is sewn it is too tight causes top of foot to ache after awhile. I have two different colors in these and they have the ability to put arch inserts in which is wonderful!!!!

Hiking on the Northshore, In northern Minnesota so far. Walking in Canal Park in Duluth. Like that they are a cross between a sneaker and boot with solid ankle support.

Love Merrell's but these needed to be broken in. The first time they rubbed by the back of the ankle and tore the skin away. They are a good show with a lot of support. A little slippery on rocks and wet surfaces.

These shoes are so comfortable, but my feet still get really hot. I was hoping that the shoes would be cooler for summer trail walking.

The fit was too narrow in toe box and returned but felt great otherwise, looked good too. I have an old pair beat to death but still wear them hiking. (Even worn on winter with heavy socks.)

Comfy and almost perfect but the tall ankle part rubs so you need tall socks or pants to be a barrier between. Short socks dont cut it. But they are water proof, light and definitely grippy!

They are comfortable but they rub if your socks are too low. They also bunch when you tighten them

Being from Minnesota, wearing socks is a must in winter. Tight with socks. Wide option would have been a better choice for me. Great product otherwise!!
