Was really disappointed with these. The first time I had them on my heals hurt so bad. Was a little better at the end of the walk.

Pretty shoe but I had to return it because there is a tight strap that was rubbing on the top of my feet.

These shoes are beautiful!! Great color!! I love so much but they hurt my feet so much!! Not comfortable at all!! Been meaning to call and see what I can do. Cause I can't wear them and they are like brand new. Sitting in the box. Which is a shame cause they are very pretty, just not for my feet!!

I wanted to like this shoe, but the material is crinkly and noisy. I could hear it with every step. It was also too tight in the toe area and I don't have wide feet.

Wanted to love these, but couldn't get past the rubbing on the ankles. If they were about 1/2 inch lower, they would be the perfect shoe. I have the winter boot version of these, and they are fantastic.

I bought these in the hopes of wearing them for my job which involves a lot of walking. I never have had an issue with shoes being too tight on the tops of my feet, but I had that problem with these. There is a stiff material halfway down the tongue of the shoe that rubs on the top of my foot, and its a material that won't stretch out over time so there is no way to break the shoe in. They also squeak with every step I take which is quite annoying, but I would have tolerated it if I didn't have the other issue with the shoes. I also am a size 9 in the Moab style with room to wear slightly thicker socks if I wanted, but these fit smaller so I should have purchased a 9.5 instead.

I have had several pairs of Merrell shoes, but am disappointed with this one. While the fit is great and the other features are as advertised, the waterproof feature lasted only about 3 months. The "waterproof" feature was the main reason I purchased this shoe, for my light hikes. Today, my socks and feet were soaked after walking through only wet grass. In addition, my cousin has the MOAB shoe and the very same thing has happened, no longer "waterproof" after only a few months. This is so disappointing. I will hesitate to purchase Merrell shoes again for this reason.

Would have been great, but not made for a wider foot. Too narrow and tight across the middle of the foot. A wider width option would have been awesome.

I have an average foot. Sometimes I do have to buy a wide shoe, but not usually on tennis shoes or even snow boots. These definitely run small, I couldn't even wiggle my toes and putting the shoe on was a struggle. I would like to say that, even if the fit a little short they are VERY comfortable, as I was walking around my house. I just wished they made them in 11.5. Had to return.

I wanted to like this shoe, but my feet just were not having it! I like the colors and the look, but I tried them on in my kitchen and stood only about 30 min before my feet were killing me :( They weren't as wide as I thought they might be, and the arch support was too much for my semi flat feet. Needless to say as much as I wanted to have these, they ended up going back.

I bought these shoes to replace heavier hiking boots. They are attractive & I appreciate looking down on hikes and seeing them. They seem to fit well and were comfortable when I tested wearing them around the house. However, they are very painful for me to wear on hikes - and unfortunately it does seem to be a "breaking in" issue.

I was so looking forward to getting this shoe I put it on right away. Unfortunately, the plastic where the tongue is attached is higher up (a shorter tongue) and was rubbing the top of my feet leaving marks. It was quite stiff and I didn't think it was going to stretch. I don't have exceptionally high arches and I don't wear a wide, so this really surprised me. I also ended up with a blister on the back of my ankle (I guess I'm not used to the higher back) so I sent them back quite disappointed. The shoe itself would've been comfortable otherwise and I liked the look, the feel and support, but that short tongue made it unwearable for me. This is the first Merrell shoe that I haven't been happy with so I promptly ordered a different style to replace them.

I do not have a high instep. I had a Hard time getting foot into shoe. Tight at top of instep. Once foot was in it was very comfortable. Unfortunately. I winded up returning them because of the tightness.

Bought these for the beach and the garden. I needed something that was comfortable, waterproof and I didn't really have to worry about. They are exactly that - while walking sneakers are not necessarily my style, they are extremely comfortable and functional... and my son thinks purple shoes are fun!

This shoe was a mid ankle height and hit both ankles bones - not comfy for me. The colors that I choose were much more muted in person compared to the online picture.

I got these shoes to walk my dog in the morning when the grass is dewy. I was tired of my feet getting wet from regular shoes and I didn't want to wear rain or winter boots. Water gets in through the top. My feet and socks would be so wet by time I got back from a 1-2 mile walk. I had to put the shoes in front of the register or leave them out in the sun for the rest of the day and they still wouldn't dry completely. I was bummed. I never walked in puddles with them. I gave these two stars because they are comfortable and look nice, but they definitely aren't waterproof enough.

.. only had for less then a month and one of the tabs holding the laces broke

I bought them because of the great reivews, but for some reasons, they didn't work for me. They hurt me after mile 3. I bought my usual size and these run a little small. So sad because they look great.

I purchased these after falling in love with the mon-waterproof version. I expected a similar fit, but these were tighter and the ankle height cut my foot just under the ankle bone. No blister, just straight to torn skin! Be prepared to break these in. I have to wear in short spurts so that my skin doesn't suffer. I've gone through a lot of band-aids trying to break these in. They are really stiff. They are tighter and hurt my bunions where the non-waterproof version fit perfectly and comfortably.

Very nice boot except NOT waterproof. Walk through grass just a bit tall and your feet will be wet. I am disappointed.

Very uncomfortable. I'm disappointed, I expected more from Merrell. Haven't tested if they're actually waterproof, as claimed.

The quality was not what I've grown to expect from Merrell. The one piece tongue is sewn in strangely and has ridges that rubbed the top of my feet when I tried them on. I was very disappointed and returned them unworn.
