Slim fit, very warm for MN winters. Only complaint is that the zipper is difficult to get started. I'm a little concerned problems with the zipper may only get worse.

I had tried this parka on in the store and fell in love with it. Ordered online to get the color I wanted. This jacket is the perfect length to keep you warm in the winter. I was worried that since it was thin it would not be warm, that is not the case! This jacket warms up fast and keeps me toasty warm. The only reason why I did not give this jacket all 5 stars is because some of the feathers seem to work their way out of the seams, this is noticeable on my jacket since the exterior is black. Other than that, I love this jacket and would highly recommend it for cold winters!

This coat comes with quite a bit more room (as In boxy cut). I love the color to I didn't feel like Frosty the Snow-woman, overtime I step outside this winter.

This is a very cute jacket but not for me. I am 5'2" and about 110 lbs, and I ordered a small. It fit fine, but it was so long it hung about 2 inches lower than the bottoms of my knees. Way too much jacket. It seems very nice, though, if you are a taller person.

The coat keeps me warm, is comfortable to move around in and fits well. However, it sheds a ridiculous amount of feathers. My clothes are covered in them when I take off my coat. Yes it's down and they all shed to an extent but with this coat it is excessive. My Esprit down coat which I bought 15 yrs prior for less than half the price did not shed nearly as much and was just as warm. Would not recommend this coat only because for the price I expected better quality.

SOOOO cute but the Medium didn't close in the chest by a mile so I ordered in a Large and it was huge all over. I agree with another reviewer that an hourglass figure doesn't work well with this coat which is too bad as it is warm and cozy and I would have loved it to fit.

Pros: I like the fit. It has some shape so you don't look like a marshmallow :-). I like the low profile hood - not too bulky. I also like how lightweight it was and still warm. I stood outside in below zero weather for a few minutes and it felt warm. Cons at least for me: It was a little long - it hit in a weird place so you would hit it when walking and I'm 5'7". The sleeves didn't have enough elastic on the ends so cold air could go up the sleeves. And, the sleeves were long on me (I usually have the sleeves fit a little long but these were pretty long). Big Con and reason I returned: I noticed it was shedding feathers quite a bit for only wearing around the house. So I ended up sending it back. I didn't like the shedding and for almost $300 I didn't think it was worth the risk to keep it. I do have a 3-1 Triclimate North Face Jacket which I love however, this wasn't a keeper for me.

I received this coat through work. It is beautiful, comfortable, and super warm for Northern Minnesota. I love the length and hood. The fit is a little tight in the chest and I am not all that big. However, feathers started coming out on day one. I have had it for about a month and they are coming out of every part of the coat. Very disappointing. I wear this to work at a bank and feel unprofessional covered in feathers. The zipper also has to be perfectly aligned to work.

Love the length, the warmth to weight ratio, the fit, the sleeves (though not at all stretchy) meet the requirements of my monkey arms (5'10" and 140lbs), but the feathers just don't stop. They peek out oh so timidly and the next thing you know there's a full feather on the ground, or on your clothes, or in your hair. I think a more durable fabric might help, no?

This jacket is beautiful and warm and I loved it all year last year. So many complements, too! But I got the white color, and when I machine washed it, like the label says.... gentle cycle, cold... it turned BLUE in spots. And the zipper broke. I expected more for the price.

I bought this jacket for a winter trip to Germany. While it met my expectations for warmth, attractiveness, fabric and comfort, it was very unflattering. I initially thought the cinched waist would make my waist appear small--it looked like a curvy, attractive fit online. However, below the cinching, the jacket does an exaggerated flare, which made my hips look enormous. All I could think was, "I look like an Oompaloompa!" Wanted to love this jacket, but I was jilted. Maybe someone SUPER slim who needs a little hip enhancement would find it more flattering. Unfortunately, I'll have to return it.

I am a petite person and have the hardest time finding coat that are the right length and narrower shoulders. Miss Metro is huge in length and always preferred fabric of metropolis along with fit. HOWEVER!! Can we get more creative with the colors? Hoping this would be in a shade of blush or pink for a chnage. Many comapy's carry. Thesecolors are drab!

The zippers are often difficult and get stuck. Feathers constantly come out of the parka. I would recommend another parka or jacket.

Love this jacket, BUT I HATE the white feathers all over my clothes. Not sure I'll ever buy another one because of that! Which is a bummer because I definitely would've if not for that.

This is a very casual jacket (thick, plastic bulky zipper) that is very thin and lightweight. It is long which I like, but too thin and skimpy with the down. In addition, I could not wear this with nicer casual clothes (in my opinion) because of the zipper. And I agree with previous comments, feathers were already coming out of the seams.

I always wanted a jacket like this so I begged my mom to get me it. She was resistant because of the price but she got it for me for Christmas from Dick's. The feathers come out EVERYWHERE! There are feathers on all my clothes and in my car. I'm already looking into getting something different.

I bought a blue color online about two months ago. I like this color, it looks so nice on me. The problem is down easily comes out, they stick on my clothes. The Northface should look into this issue and improve qualities. Otherwise, you have no customer.

I wonder if people wear this type of coat have feathers come out. I bought it online about 2 months ago. The feather come out easily. They stick on over my clothes and even on my car seat. I am going to return it. The North Face should work and resolve this issue for improving your products.

I wear it everyday that it is below 20 degrees.

I love This jacket. Looks great on and keeps me warm. The only con is the feathers come out very easily and gets everywhere.
