this coat is the perfect size, color and weight for walking in winter. I'm so pleased with the quality.

My new Metropolis Parka from The North Face is the answer to our cold Minnesota winters. I actually am looking forward to enjoying this coming winter without being cold. This parka provides both comfort, warmth, style along with a light weight. The weight of this coat is an invaluable feature for an older person like myself in that I am still able to freely move around in it and not feel encumbered by bulk. Thank you North Face for this wonderful product.

My first Metropolis Down Parka is in black. I have worn it everywhere! In all my years, and I have seen many, I have never had a more comfortable, serviceable coat. I waited until I could acquire an Urban Navy Metropolis Down Park. The size is consistent and the coat is so stylish. Between the two, I will actually enjoy winter in New England.

So happy that we didn't go basic black. The green is a much richer color than it appeared on the screen and that was a good thing. A little too warm for fall but the extra warmth will be appreciated when the snow starts to fall.

I think I'm going to love this coat this winter!!!

This is the second coat of this style I have owned and love both. Wore it so much that I had to dry-clean it 3 times so decided I needed a second. Great coat when driving and is so warm. Just dress it up or down with scarves.

I needed a longer coat to cover my legs at the stadium for cold weather Seahawks games. Great choice! My favorite thing is the double zipper.

This is the coat that every New England college student wants. It is warm, light weight and the perfect balance of fashion and function. From a mom' s perspective, it will keep her warm. Just make sure to write your name in it!

I waited 9 months to get my size and color in this coat. 2 of my sisters own this coat and love it. It is way too warm to be wearing it yet, but I tried it on and the fit is great and it will be fabulous for the cold winter months ahead.

Love this jacket! Been eyeing it for a while but it kept selling out .. Finally it's mine! I purchased it in the baroque purple color, which is beautiful. For reference, I am 5'3" and 125 lbs and purchased a size Small. Fits just right and gives a flattering shape. Does not look like you're swimming in it. But could fit a sweater or light sweatshirt underneath comfortably. Great purchase! Definitely recommend. Looking forward to wearing it once the cold weather arrives!

I am always amazed at how amazing any North Face jackets or clothes feel and look. I absolutely love my down parka jacket; it us comfortable, warm, and the charcoal color goes with any of my colorful scarves. I simply love it !

This coat has been perfect for braving the elements, walking between high schools for my next class. The length keeps my whole body warm and the fill is just right to keep me from overheating.

I bought this jacket when it first came out and I wore it out! This is my second one. It is so warm and comfortable, sometimes you forget you are wearing it and you just leave it on. It's light weight and does not feel uncomfortable even when its just chilly outside and not freezing. if you like to hike or walk a lot and are not keen on wearing the traditional exercise jacket I would recommend this one, I have hiked mountains in Korea in it and never once felt inhibited by its length. Also its great for layering up.

Everyone I talked to loved this jacket and now that I have my own I can say the same! In light of the polar vortex in the Chicagoland area this year, I couldn't have picked a better coat. The length is awesome, makes me feel warmer instantly. Hood is great, and the sleeves are long enough too. It's stylish and goes with a lot of things. I wear it to work but can also wear it for more casual things on the weekend! Very happy I went with this coat and brand.

I gave my husband a North Face jacket a few years ago and he has been so happy with it. This year I purchased the Metropolis Parka after Christmas for myself. Recently diagnosed with cancer we felt I needed a warm long coat. I have to say, the parka has surpassed my expectations. It arrived just in the nick of time when our weather went into sub below zero temps. I can't say enough how warm I have been and how very impressed I am with the parka. Its comfortable and light weight and toasty warm.

My daughter needed a coat for school. I don't think she has stopped wearing it yet!

Don't know how i managed without this parka. Not only is it beautiful, it is so light - it doesn't weigh me down like my shearling, and it can withstand the rain and snow. Now that i have one, i notice so many others on the street. A real lifesaver during this cold snap. LOVE IT!!!

I have been wanting this coat for years now and this year, I finally decided to get one. TOTALLY worth the investment!! It is the warmest coat I own and has come in handy during this "arctic blast" that we are getting hit with! It is super soft and I love the color. Great product!

I am not person who can afford many things because I live paycheck to paycheck, but I was blessed to be gifted with this coat. I LOVE IT!!!!! We just had that black hole of an cold vortex with -9 degrees, and I can honestly say I never had to worry about frostbite. Of course I had to make sure the rest of my extremities were covered, like fingers, toes, ears, etc, but I stayed really warm. I am never cold in that coat, I don't look bulky, and I don't get wet. It's really cute and worth the price, and I feel great knowing that something this useful and cute I am able to wear. Thank you North Face.

We bought this coat for our new college student and it has come in amazingly handy during this outrageously frigid and snowy MI winter. It's light weight, super warm and according to our teenage source, VERY fashionable! She loved that the NF logo was done 'tone on tone' so that it didn't, 'stick out and say look at me'. I love this jacket. It's warm and great quality. I thought it was a bit on the pricey side but now that I have it and the winter is so cold it's perfect. Much better then what I am used to wearing. Fits nicely. The length is too the knees and the sleeves are nice and long.

My daughter is a dog walker and this coat is perfect for her to keep warm in our freezing weather.

Bought this for the girlfriend and of course made the mistake in color but after the third trip to the store I got it right. It has been an average of 16degrees for the last week and she has worn it every day. Absolutely loves the coat. She highly recommends this coat

This coat is awesome. It's light weight, easy to pack, very warm and attractively styled. It's slightly fitted at the waist and does not look at all puffy. My daughter has the black and olive colors. She is 125 lbs and 5'3". I have the white and tan colors. I am 110 and 5'2". We both tried the small but felt the shoulders were huge so we ended up with the xs. We both use the snaps instead of the zipper.
