This is my very fisrt TNF Parka and I love it!!!... it fits just right, it is very flattering and very warm!! I have no idea why I did not purchase it before :-( - Got lots of complements and already told a couple of friends "If you are planning to purchase a coat /parka, you beter go to TNF! they are the best!! :-) "

The Metropolis Down Parka is perfect in every way! It is stylish, lightweight and keeps me VERY warm on even the coldest Minneapolis day. It's great having a coat that keeps me warm from the temperatures and the wind from my head, past my knees, due to the perfect length. Based on the previous reviews, I purchased a size larger than I normally would and it was a perfect fit. Purchasing a size larger allows me to wear a sweater or layer up underneath the coat if I choose to do so. I would highly recommend the Metropolis to anyone who is looking for a warm and stylish coat to wear in very low temperatures!

I wanted this coat for so long! Totally practical, warm and lightweight. So easy to get in and out of the car!! Best jacket I have ever worn!!!

This coat is very warm, looks great and fits comfortably. I don't look like a Snowman in it! I really comparison shopped for this coat. It's pricey and I wanted to get it right. And, fyi, I collect Patagonia jackets so I had a bit of a big bias going into this decision. There's no question this coat is the best option out there right now. And I love the strings on the hood so it can be tightened down nice and warm or I can take it off completely. I highly recommend it.

Love my new parka! It is warm enough to keep me comfortable in the bitter New England winter and I just love the color. It is my second North Face jacket in this color. I had to order online since all my local retailers were out of my size in graystone.

This is a great jacket and keeps me warm on the coldest days in New England! The new design is great, I like the fit and the fact that the logo is in the same color as the jacket instead of white like last year's because it makes it more discrete and sophisticated. Only thing I wish it had was detachable fur!

LOVE this parka! Dress it up or down! I wear it over jeans and t-shirts to my son's games and over dresses and tights for fancier events! Bought it in Graphite to match everything, but love it so much, I bought it in Urban Navy, too! Worth the investment---classic style that I'll wear for years to come! Soft and cozy! True to size and flattering, not bulky like some down jackets! Love that the embroidered logo is in the same color--super subtle! Hope I can stop myself from ordering another color!

My daughter has been hinting at this coat for litterely 2-3 years and I have put it off for as long as I could! I knew she really wanted it because it came up with every winter season at the beginning and end! We were hesitant with the price ( for us it's a lot ) well it was worth every penny! She loves it and I'm sure the quality will mean it will last through many Minnesota winters! Northface has never let us down!

It is a wonderful jacket that is great for the winter! It is the perfect length to cover just enough of your body to keep you warm. The inside pocket is of great convince for your phone, or anything that you want to be sure not to lose. It also is perfect for those cold, windy winter days when you need to dress up!

My wife loves the light weight and warmth of this coat. She will get many years of wear out of it

I don't know why I waited so long to buy this coat. The fit is nice and snug without restricting my movement and is long enough to keep my legs warm. Plus, it is lightweight and not bulky. I find myself wearing it open when it is cold enough for a jacket and snapped or zipped when it is really cold. I love the purple color and even wore it over a long dress to a formal event. Sometimes all that matters is whether or not I am warm.

I was a little hesitant to spend this much money on a coat but it was worth it! The coat keeps me warm in the northern Michigan temperatures, is lite weight, and very comfortable to wear.

This coat was by far the best purchase I have made in awhile. Has kept me insanely warm walking across campus... I love it!

I spent a lot of time looking for "the perfect" winter coat/jacket. I wanted something at least thigh length. I also wanted a quilted coat that didn't make me look like the Michelin man, in a color other than black like everyone else has. I found this one and instantly loved it. It is cut on the narrow side, and therefore I needed one size larger, it is nice and warm, but not overly puffy, and the color is blue-gray. A little longer than I wanted, but that much warmer on windy days. It is "the perfect" coat!

I've been waiting to buy this coat, and finally decided to go for it and am kicking myself for waiting. I got the navy, and love the color. The length is great, and considering winter in WI started early this year I've gotten lots of use out of it already.

It's warm a great color and very stylish for a puffy winter coat! Love it!
