Coat is a great color, very light to wear but warm, everyone likes how it looks, many compliments. My only complaint is that it runs slighly small.

We've had some really cold windy weather here the last few weeks. This coat definitely handled the cold, snow and wind with flying colors. It is soft, warm and very true to size. I wanted to buy it last year, but it was sold out before I could get the color I wanted. If you want this coat...buy it now.

My college daughter loved this coat! She got it in time for a major winter storm. The coat was very warm, light weight, easy to carry around to class. The hood, protected her head and neck from the elements . The length of the coat came down just pass the knees. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COAT, TO ANYONE WHO WANTS WINTER PROTECTION!!!!!

As a Southern girl thrown into the harsh city of Boston, I truly thought I would not survive the winter. I found this coat last year and have not stopped raving about it since. It is truly the warmest coat ever. I got a size bigger than normal so that I could wear a bulky sweater or a scarf underneath if I wanted and still don't find myself drowning in it. It is a lifesaver to have, you won't ever regret this purchase.

So many people I know swear that Northface makes the warmest coats in the world. So I bought this parka since this winter is supposed to be brutal. The coat arrived and it is remarkably lightweight! You do not look like the Michelin man when you wear it. Very trim coat for the level of warmth it provides. Bravo, NorthEast! You live up to your hype!

I finally have a jacket that is very warm and protects me from the cold and the wind in winter! What is great about this jacket is that it also protects my legs which always freeze when we are out watching football games! I am finally warm & comfortable in the cold and i highly recommend this jacket to everyone!!

I love this jacket so much that I ordered a second color. So now I have basic black and my new Baroque Purple! Very comfortable, keeps me warm, and covers my seat! My favorite winter coat!

I moved to NJ and needed a super warm and versatile coat. The metro parka can be worn on walks around town or to work. It is so warm! I would highly recommend this coat to friends. I live in it all winter long. Thank you North Face!

I like the new Metropolis but the cut is definitely different than it was a few years ago. The fit is narrower and also a bit longer. My old Metropolis hit right above my knee. The new style is at or just below my knee so it takes some getting used to but all in all the Metropolis is a great coat! I had an XS in my previous coat but had to go up to a Small in this one.

Fits very comfortably, zippers and snaps work well. Very warm and cozy.

I our purchased this coat for the cold Chicago weather & for the stylish look & the color is just too cute with a cute scarf! Love it!
