I tend to be between sizes in Born, and these booties were no exception. My usual size 8 felt too large, while a half size down of 7.5 felt borderline too small. Other than that issue, the booties were a cute style and were comfortable. I might have tried keeping the 7.5 except I was looking for something warmer for the cold weather, and these were really just basic leather shoes.

Very hard time zipping and unzipping -even after trying to loosen it a few times.

Toe box too small and the leather is stiff. Had to return ?

They are huge. And heavy. Well made and good quality though. But I have to return.

Comfortable right out the box. True to size. But as others mentioned, issue with heal and leather not holding up. I even treated in spite of them being weatherized. They look shabby after one short seasonal use.

Loved the look of these, and they were very comfortable; however, the opening was too large around the ankle, creating a very large gap between the shoe and my leg/foot.

The fit and size is great. They were comfortable right out of the box and I did a bit of city walking in them while still new. I love the color and toe. The downside is that within 2 months the sole started detached from the heel and the "wood" appearance is fading off the heals. At first I thought I would be buying many more pairs of Born shoes but not now.

Very cute boot. Wide toe box without looking wide which I really liked. Rear zipper made it easy to get the boot on / off. Unfortunately, my heel slipped a lot with walking - perhaps because the boot is short or maybe it actually runs bigger. Glad for Zappos return policy.

Just a little roomy. Didn't care for the look.

Ohmagosh these are so fab looking but didn't fit quite right. One foot is larger than the other. Good for a solid 8.5. If your foot is any larger then it won't work.

They fit pretty good.

I want to love these but they just aren't my thing. Also, I have flat feet and I can feel the little inward tilt when I walk in these. They are getting returned.

Boot is ok. It's the color, texture I can't like.

I received the boots in a shoebox without a cover & the box label was correct with size 8 like the order I placed. They looked good & I wore them. After a while they felt kind of large. I looked at boot label inside & they were size 8.5! Surprise!

I have ordered Born shoes in the past and loved the fit! This pair felt larger than the size 8 label.

It was difficult to determine the fit problem. Just too big. When Zappos says I should buy an 8 1/2 medium, that's what I order. In an athletic shoe that's perfect. But dress shoes fit differently, so I keep having to return . I've had to return some real beauties, and it has frustrated me no end.

These are nice looking and I like the arch support felt nice but as soon as I started walking in them they slipped off the back of my heels and felt like they would eventually hurt my toes.

I need a better fit by having a wider toe area. After having for surgery, this fit just wasn’t wide enough.

These did not fit my arch at all, and the toe shape and vamp looked cuter in the photos than on my feet. The black leather was very smooth. Overall, they weren't keepers for me.

Way too much slack so your foot slides around. Love borns but these did not work for me.

These were way too big on my feet. I usually wear a size 9 in Borns but these were way too big. They also weren't flattering but that might be because they were flapping around on my foot. The leather is gorgeous and the heel was a good height. But had to return because I couldn't get the sizing right.

One boot had two deep scuff marks on the front toe area. Had to return. This boot is very comfortable, bought a pair 2 years ago did notice the heel is different on this pair. Born my favorite brand fits well.

Loved the style of these boots, but they just didn't fit. They were about a quarter-inch too long so my heel slipped and they were too wide. Overall, a little too big for my narrow foot.

I really wanted to love these, but they’re too masculine for my style. They’re quite long in the toe, about 1.5 inches longer than Lucky Brand booties. If they had a shorter toe they’d be perfect, but these are going back. I consistently wear an 8 in Born, and these fit perfectly in an 8.

Loved the style of this boot but it felt bigger and wider. Can't say how the support was as I had to return them.
