Very comfortable shoe but definitely order a half size smaller. I ordered my usual 8-1/2 and an 8 based on other reviews, not really believing the 8 would fit. It was perfect even with thick socks. My feet were swimming in my usual size. Believe what you read!

These boots are cute, stylish and comfortable. I ordered half a size up so I could wear with socks, but they were way too big. Returned for my "normal" size and the boots fit great with or without socks. Very excited to wear these boots this season (and hopefully many more).

I ordered these in my usual 8, however, these were definitely about 1/2 size too large. I reordered in 7.5 and they're perfect! The color and style are just what I was looking for in an all-around Fall bootie. I'm concerned about other reviews related to the wear of the heel color but I'm hoping for the best.

These ankle boots run large, so I would order a half size down. They don't grip my ankle as snugly as I would like, so some of those orthopedic heel pads might help provide a tighter fit if the heel of your foot is narrow. Otherwise, these boots provide light arch support and are maybe just a tad wider than standard B width. I love the colors and the style. These look very on trend for this season!

Overall the shoes were nice, I just really didn't care for the tobacco color. I choice another Born style instead.

I love theses booties. They are perfect if you are looking for comfort and style. I normally wear a size 10, but they were quite long on me. I’m returning for a 9.5. The notch on the side is quite low (but a cute detail), so you will probably want to wear no-show socks or no socks at all.

Super cute bootie, I just couldn't get the zipper up on the back heel. I must need a 1/2 size bigger?

These are very nice looking booties, and I was sorry that they didn't work for me. I have a high instep, and wear orthotics, and found it impossible (literally) to get my foot into the boot because there wasn't quite enough space in that mid-area. The instep has always been a problem for me (even without orthotics) but it is the first time I have experienced this with Born. They otherwise looked to me like they are true to size, and width, and Born usually has decent arch support.

I love the look and feel of this shoe. However, I have a problem with a hammer toe on my right foot. The shoe was too snug through the toe box to feel comfortable. I usually wear a 9 1/2 M, which is what I ordered. I probably should have gone a half size up. I had to return them.

I should have paid attention to the turned up toe. I did not like the way these looked on my feet. The long turned up toe made my foot look big and I am a size 5 1/2. I think you will like these if that is the look you are after.

I bought these as my daily work boots. As a corporate pilot comfort is crucial. These boots are a bit large, but the extra space is welcome.

Beautiful boot! Fit to size and lots of support. I was prepared to keep this for a trip to Italy (cobblestone streets), but opted for another Chelsea boot that was more refined in style and versatile to wear with jeans or skirts. This boot tuns up at the toe similar to a cowboy boot and has a trimmed edge around the front of the boot that protruded a bit too much for my taste.

Comfortable and stylish. My only complaint is the zipper up,the back, difficult to close, awkward location.

Very cute but a little long by half size.

I have Morton’s neuromas in both feet, and I? recommend these shoes as a comfortable, stylish option, as long as you add arch support. I? love them with jeans—even skinny legged jeans. They are my everyday shoes and work well for an effortless put together look. The catches—these shoes have no arch support. Superfeet Go insoles solve the arch support problem completely. Other catch—it was hard to get the right size. I? bought a size 9 in the gray, which is a softer material than the black. The first black pair I? received had wrinkles in the leather application, so Zappos kindly exchanged them. The next pair I? received in a 9 was too small, especially in the toe box. I? ordered a 9.5, and it fits well—perhaps a little large in the heel, but a thicker sock can fix that if needed. Hope you enjoy them as I? do. And as always, thanks to Zappos for the great support.

Cute bootie, but seems to run a bit larger. I am usually a size 7 in Born shoes.

Read reviews saying these ran small, so I ordered a size larger than I usually do, which also was the same size my other Born shoes are (9.5). Big mistake as these were too big both wide & long. Reordered these in a 9 and they fit much better.

I use to have a pair of Born booties that I wore darn near every day for 3 years. I stand on my feet all day, and the booties were comfortable from day one. After wearing some other brand of booties, which leave my feet tired and sore, I purchased these. I put them on and immediately felt the superior cushion. I am worried about the stiffness of the leather however so I am returning them for a different pair of Born. Looking for the right pair, cute and comfortable!!!

I ended up sending these back without hesitation. For me personally, I felt the toe was a bit to narrowly rounded aesthetically. I thought they looked kind of cheap. I've had some luck with Born booties, it these definitely missed the mark. I did find them absolutely tts, and they seemed as though they'd be comfortable.

I was hoping from the other reviews that said these run large that these would fit my wide feet, even though they only come in a regular width. I wear a 7.5 wide or extra wide and ordered these in a size 8. I could not fit my foot into the shoe all the way, it was too tight over the upper part of my foot, and I definitely could not zip up the back! I think these would fit my foot in a size 9. Unfortunately that would be way too long for my foot and I would be tripping over the extra length. The material was sturdy and I liked the style. I would not recommend these to anyone needing a wide toebox or wider fitting shoe.

I bought these shoes for 8-hour shifts in the service industry. Good arch support! I'm a size 9 and I sized down to 8.5 per the recommendations on this site, but it seems like I really could have ordered either size. If the 8.5 was any smaller, I would have to send it back. I'll say that the slit in the side is unusually low (and an awkward length to wear the right socks with), but overall they are very comfortable shoes for when I'm going to be on my feet all day.

I wanted to like these. I like Born shoes- good quality and comfortable, The cut out on the side makes it different than a typical Chelsea boot, but just a little too different. They looked awkward with a skirt, but while wearing dress pants the sock peeking out of the cut out was just as weird. Sadly, going back.

This style did not provide the support to my instep that I was hoping for.
