I love these but they are smidge narrow and just narrow enough for me to return. Kinda bummed. Sooo cute.

It is a beautiful well priced bootie. Sadly I had to return it because my heels came completely out of the boot. It’s true I have narrow heels so this problem may be unique to me. Wish they had fit!

These are nice looking shoes, and appear to be well made. However, I’m not entirely sure what my American size is, so I ordered an 11, and it was definitely too big. (Deciding whether or not to try them in a 10, but am afraid that might be a bit too small.)

They were very large. I wear size 7 and never have issue with size but these have a good inch of space in the toes. The toe is also more pointy than I like. Will return.

This pair of Born booties was a bit disappointing. I can wear them for the day at work (I'm a hairstylist) but am ready to kick them off at the end of my shift. They are a bit of a looser fit, but not like a 1/2 size big. They kind of bend a funky at the toe are when I walk but that seems to be getting better the more I wear them. The style is nice, I only wear them with jeans, but they dress up the jeans nicely. Overall, I think they are worth the money.

I have bought this particular bootie 3 times and I’m getting ready to buy them again. Super comfortable but they do tend to show wear fairly quickly. You’ll need to care for them with shoe polish but they’re way too versatile to not have in your wardrobe.

I wish I could love this shoe - as it is about perfect in every way except the top of the shoe around my ankle is very large and I have small ankles so it looks like I'm swimming in these boots...other than this the color, fit and comfort would have been perfect - so sorry to return.

So grateful for Zappos free shipping and free returns because I was able to order 3 pairs of this boot in 3 different sizes to figure out which would work for me. I was so confused by the reviews because some said they were true to size, other said they ran big or small. Turns out that to me the 8.5 fit best, and I normally wear a 9 in boots. Even with a sock the 8.5 fit best for me. I'm returning them, though, because with jeans, which is how I would most often wear them, they just end up looking like cowboy boots. Not the look I was going for. Back to my search for the perfect brown boot.

These are very comfortable and made well but I preferred Born's Dallia instead. Can't thank you enough Zappos for making returns so easy.

Super comfy but not as cute as others that I tried on.

Boot was very comfortable and fit my foot well, regular size 8M. The shoe sole style through me off and the expense. I also tried similar short boots in Naturalizer and Rockport, this one was the most comfortable out of them all.

Fit perfect and very comfortable, I was a little worried about the back zipper but it was fine, didn't rub or bother me at all. It has a classic look that will never go out of style. Very happy with the purchase, the only thing I would change is the depth of the side V cut in the shoe, but not a deal breaker. I really do love them, so much I bought one in a rusty brown color.

This boot is attractive and comfortable. I am generally a 7.5, and my foot, heel especially, is narrow. I like to use my own inserts as well. The reviews indicated the boot ran a little large overall, so I ordered the 7.5. It was still almost a whole size too long for my foot. Even with the insert, the shoe was very loose on my heel. I am going to try these in a size 7 and see how it goes because I love the style and color. The distressed grey has a purple-brown hue to it that is both pretty and versatile. Just bummed I can't keep them and wear them now!

Loved these but my crazy left foot was having a tantrum. Had to send them back for a different BORN boot.

I have been eyeing these beauties for a while and finally decided to order them. They are just as beautiful in person; however I won’t be keeping these because they are just a bit too large. Not only did they fit large but they looked huge on my feet. I will be trying a half size down because I’d love to add these to my closet!

These are a true 10 - for me this means slightly tight on the front and a little loose on my narrow heel. I have a very difficult foot to fit. I have a 10.25 and need good arch support. I have these in a suede greenish color and love them. They loosen as you wear them. They look great with jeans and pants. Can be worn in spring or fall - a little chilly for winter in NC.

Love these. I stand the majority of my working day standing and these still feel comfortable by the end of the day. The brown color looks great. The heels are easy to scuff like other reviewers have mentioned. Overall, comfy and fashionable

I really like these booties. Easy on and off even without zipping and zipping. I like the minimalist profile. My only complaint would be that the zipper on the back of the heel flops up and down when walking making a jingle noise. This was easily fixed though, with some invisible tape to hold it down. Other than that, love these and I'm sure they will be a favorite go to boot.

After reading the reviews saying these tend to run large, I decided to hedge my bets and order both size 8 and 8.5 and return whichever one didn't fit. I am normally an 8.5 in regular shoes, and usually a 9 (sometimes a 9.5) in athletic shoes. When they arrived I tried on the 8 and it felt too large, so I didn't even open the 8.5; sadly they're both going back. I haven't decided whether to try a 7.5. That would be a new record for me, so my experience is that these shoes run quite large.

Love these boots. Wouldn’t mind if they didn’t dip so low on the sides but otherwise great.

Wonderfully comfy and beautiful shoes. Yet they're a bit too roomy, so I may return for a size down.

Sizing is good. I purchased one pair in black and one in brown. The black ones have to go back, just too tight on my crooked toes. The brown ones have more give so I am happy to keep them and enjoy wearing them!

These are really good looking shoes. The boot is more shoe than boot, and they are a little masculine for my taste, but I will definitely keep and enjoy them. I thinkt hey will not pair as well with a skirt or dress as jeans and a sweater though. The leather is really rich looking, and they feel good on my feet out of the box.

I am so sad that these didn't work out - the top cut into the front of my ankle quite painfully. I assume they are great on folks with skinny ankles! I love the look of them and considered suffering for a while in hopes that the ankle area softened up, but I decided it was too much of an investment to risk. :( This is my first negative experience with Born shoes.
