I had to return them as the zipper in the back would not work with my foot it them. It kept breaking open when I walked and they fit perfectly so it was obviously a defective zipper.

I’m so sad. I wanted to love these like everybody else does but... there is no arch support. Also they are NOT so comfy. Kinda felt hard. And the biggest issue is that I can feel the zipper rub the back of my heel. For $120 they have to be perfect and they just aren’t. ?? I’d like to end on a positive note so let me say they are cute!

If you wear out the back of the right heel, and even some damage to the left, it’s caused by your foot position while driving. The color should be throughout the heel, not a skin added over a white base. If you really love the shoes, consider wearing other shoes while driving..

Super cute, but they were longer than expected and the leather was cutting into my ankle. Had to return.

Loved the style of this boot and the suede type leather but the sizing was all off for me..I normally wear an 8.5 and that size of this boot fit like a size 9...but the size 8 was way too small for me so not sure if the boot was marked the wrong size but I had to send them both back..really disappointed..

I've had the exact same issue as some of the other folks here, the bottom of the heel came off in a matter of months and I was soooo disappointed. I literally loved these shoes to death in record time. I tried to wear them anyway but they make a very loud clacking sound once the rubber comes off. For the money, it's just not worth it. I thought about sending them back to Born but in the end I just didn't want to go to the hassle. Otherwise, they were super comfortable, and perfect for my professional but mostly outdoors job.

I loved the look of these. Unfortunately, they were way too narrow for my wide foot. I also have a high instep, so I had to send them back. They look well made and comfortable, but this customer will never know.

I generally wear a 9 but got the 8.5 based on reviews indicating it runs large. I needed an 8. But I didn't like the style enough to try an 8, so returned it. I have a wonderful pair of tall brown Born boots that have a much cooler style in the foot. This one is clunky. Seemed comfortable, but hard to tell as it was too large.

Bought this on all the reviews of how comfortable they were but they were so ugly (to me anyway) comfortable, but really unattractive

Wanted to love this boot, it has everything I was looking for but it is at least a half size larger than all my other Born shoes or boots, maybe even a full size! If it fit I'd ordered a second pair I love the look so much!

I have this boot in several colors. They are extremely comfortable and cute. Unfortunately they’ve gone from my rotation of stylish boots to my knock-around boots in record time due to the leather heal wrap coming off exposing the white plastic heel. I’ve used a Sharpie to color the white plastic black, however there is no hiding the poor quality of the heel construction. If the heels were actual stacked leather this boot would be a home run.

The zipper positioni on these is just awkward. If the flap of theboot isn't just so it the zipper gets caught trying to put on. The overall boot is also quite short making even ankle socks quite visible with them. Very narrow in the toe box.

I love Born, but these are going back. They're cute, but they aren't the most comfortable. The toe box hits the top of my toe as the shoe flexes when I walk. Nothing major, but I'm sure I wouldn't want to wear them all day.

Very cute boots! Toe is too pointed for me and sole is too stiff.

Wanted to love these, and they seem very comfortable, but I have small feet and skinny ankles, and they looked like clunky rain boots on me.

Quality construction, cushioned foot bed, unique aesthetic but near-zero arch support. Very uncomfortable for me, since I have higher arches. An aside for folks looking for cool weather footwear, these boots comfortably accommodate socks.

Major kudos for Zappos unbelievable customer service! I bought a half size up (a 12, instead of 11.5) and wore them for a few days. They felt slightly big, but as I wore them, they stretched to the point of being unwearable. Despite being worn, Zappos allowed me to swap them out for a size 11. They felt snug on Day 1, but Day 2, felt fine. They fit perfect and are my favorite shoes!

Nice-looking shoe. However, the heels scuffed up pretty quickly, revealing cheap underlying material. They didn't hold up as well as an older pair by this brand. Rear zipper more awkward than side zipper in previous brand.

Beautiful black leather booties. The ankle cut-out adds a bit of style and updates a classic look. I found the bootie to feel a bit narrow, but the leather would likely stretch to accommodate my foot over time. I returned these because the ankle-cut outs hit my foot at an odd spot and caused discomfort. Additionally, the cushioned arch was misplaced for my foot anatomy. Also, I felt the booties made my feet look quite long, perhaps due to the slightly pointed toe, but that wouldn't have been a deal-breaker if it weren't for the other issues I'd experienced. Great with leggings, skirts, and dresses, it's worth ordering this bootie to see if the shape works for you.

These run a little large and are not femine looking..

I have 3 pairs of Kerris by Born. I just tried to purchase 2 more, but they're smaller/shorter than the ones I bought a year ago. I wear a 9.5 medium to narrow shoe and boot, but in these I've worn a 9M with a perfect fit. So I ordered the Cenere and the Denim blue. Both are too short -- the heel/zipper area is cut in at an angle which pushes my feet forward, making them too short for my toes. So unfortunately I'm returning both pairs -- too bad -- I just LOVE the style and back zipper and western look of these booties!

These look adorable, but they don't have the support that Born usually does and the soles of my feet were aching after only a little while. Too bad...

Not as comfortable as I expect from Born. Also the sides are very low - making it hard to find socks to wear with it... not making it a winter friendly boot.

These are very stylish, soft leather ankle boots and it seems they would be comfortable. However, in this case, Born has shown inconsistencies in sizing lately. Normally I wear 9 in Born but with this particular style 8 is too tight and small yet my heel keeps coming up as I walk and size 8.5 is too big overall. Very disappointing!

I liked the style but the fit was not amazing.
