Impossible to zip. Zipper too stiff. Also, 1/2 size too small. I bought an 8.5. I always wear a 8.5.

This is a great looking boot but that zipper in the back is rough, very difficult to get zipped up and an ultimate deal breaker. Returning.

I love all shoes Born, this bootie was just too stiff in the front and hurt my shin to wear it, it had to go back.

These boots are really cute but the leather looks worn out after not much wear. I wouldn’t recommend these if you want them to last very long.

I have this shoe in a size 7 (although I normally wear a 7.5). Fits well and I love it! However, I ordered the same size in another color and couldn't get it zipped. It felt more like a 6.5. So I ordered the 7.5 and it was huge..fit like an 8!! What is going on with Born? I have seen other complaints about inconsistent sizing. I also ordered the Dallia and it was narrow and tight even though a have a slightly narrow foot. Not sure if I should order the Kerri 7 again in hopes of getting a real 7 or a smaller 7.5. Additionally, the color of the Distressed Tobacco was very different on each size. Geez! It should be easier to buy a new shoe of which you already own multiples and know your size. I reduced the stars for this reason.

At first, I loved these boots, enough to order a second pair!, however, my first pair’s leather was so soft and stretched so much that they felt sloppy and too big after a short while though i continued to wear them a lot until worn out. I ordered a size down for my second pair but they were mostly unsatisfactory, essential back zipper on one of the boots broke not too long after purchase. All in all the quality for the price was not a great match up.

Fit & size are fine. Disappointing that Born uses plastic heels with a 'wood-look' sticker on it. It peels off quickly and renders the boots useless.

They fit fine but the back zipper pull flapped audibly against the zipper itself with each step.

With all the positive reviews, I was surprised to have such a bad experience. The top edge of these was so stiff and sharp that I got painful red lines around my ankle just from walking around my living room for 5 minutes. Right back they go!

Not as comfortable or supportive as I had hoped. I have had them for just a few short weeks and am disappointed in the overall comfort of the shoe. I was looking for a casual but stylish shoe to wear on the way to the office and the weekend but these went from being "okay" at first to "not all that pleasant to walk in" in just over two weeks.

I am a long time Born devotee. However, these shoes are too tight, they don't look as sharp as I would like, and the back rubbed against my heel. There was no way they would work. Shoe makers: every single shoe doesn't need a zipper. These would have been better with an overlapping stretch panel on the sides.

Beautiful shoes, very comfortable. Sadly, after one week of normal wear (walking in airport, city, home), the heels got two dinges that show white material beneath. It's very noticeable and unsightly.

They fell off my feet. I was stepping out of them and slick on the bottom

These are the worst Born boots I have ever tried on. Narrow, especially in the toe box. The zipper feels cheap and is hard to work. The leather is stiff and feels almost like cardboard. And the heal has this fake spray on stuff that is supposed to look like suede but instead looks like craft craft felt. I doubt it would last even minimal contact with real life wearing conditions.

The size was too big, but the zipper did not work.

Loved the look of this shoe but had to return it without trying it on because the zipper was faulty and I couldn’t get the shoe on.

Just look like trowels on my feet. Uncomfortable across the top of the foot. Sticky zippers. Returning.

Zipper was unusable, too sticky/stiff so couldn't easily get boot on and off. Defective zipper or poor quality? Hard to say. Returning these, unfortunately.

The soles squeak loudly on any surface except carpet. Tried 2 other Born booties and neither did this - they have a different sole

I received shoes that were obviously returned and previously worn. The toes and heels were scuffed and soles cleaned up. Zappos you need to do better. Wanted to exchange but no longer available in my size. Now I need to be inconvenienced to return the shoes.

This was not the color I ordered. I ordered distressed taupe and received dark red.

Love the pair that fits. Knowing these ran large, so ordered two pairs: 1/2 size smaller & full size larger. The full size larger fits perfectly! Normally wear size US womens 8. The perfect fitting pair I'm keeping is size 7! Feel real good & love them!

this boot came in a box with the word "defective" on it. why on earth would they sell that?!!
