I used Zappos for the first time as a result of my daughter's recommendation. It was the first time I bought shoes without trying them on and walking around. She assured me I could return them without further charge. At 80 years old, it was so much easier to shop on line than at the mall. I was totally satisfied with my purchase.

I believe that these shoes will be just right for my needs as a nursing student. I have wide feet with short toes and high insteps and the fit seems quite good. The price is right and I like New Balance. Zappos' delivery time was expedient.

As always, the delivery service from Zappos is amazing! New Balance fits my foot perfectly. This is one of the few brands my foot Dr. recommended due to a bout with plantar facitis. When I wear New Balance I do not experience the pain and discomfort in my feet.

This shoe is what I wanted and ordered. Fits just as it should, good for walking the mall! Service was speedy, in fact a day ahead of time, which worked out for me. Thanks Zappos.

Great choice for people with foot issues, specifically peripheral neuropathy. The comfy fabric at the toe is so easy on my sensitive toes. I love them!

I bought these for my 97 year old mother-in-law. She thinks they are the greatest shoes she has ever had. They fit wonderful, ready to wear full time. A great value!

Reasonably comfortable sneakers. Have had trouble finding a comfortable and supportive shoe. After wearing them for 4 to 5 hours, my feet did feel too warm, but I think they will be OK in the fall and winter.

Ordered my normal size but shoes felt a little wide. I have narrow feet with crooked toes so always have a problem. My orthotitcs help with the width so will keep them. The color is more of a lavender than a grey which I like.

I ordered the white version 2--- (I liked version 1 better) in two sizes- ladies 9 wide and 9/12 wide. The 9 was still too tight on my right foot- just a little snug on my left. For years I was very 9 regular in New Balance-- The 9 1/2 wide is perfect on my right foot. It is a tiny loose on my left. So I decided to keep the 9 1/2 and am returning the size 9.

Unfortunately with New Balance, I am different sizes depending on the sneaker. I had foot surgery so now I sometimes have to buy the same sneaker in 2 different sizes to fit. That's how it was with this one. This size fit my left foot perfectly. I had to buy another pair one size up for my right foot. I prefferred the first version better, and just wanted to buy 1 additional pair, to use for my right foot. Of course, the origiinal pair has been discontinued. I am replacing the shoe laces for plain white as I didn't care for the ones that this version comes with.

I ordered size 7.5 but they were a little too short to be comfortable. I am exchanging them for a size 8. I really wanted the grey color instead of white, but the grey is out of stock.

At last, a leather athletic shoe again! Because I have a narrow foot, I need sturdy structure in my shoes. Leather shoes break down less than mesh or other fabrics. I normally wear a slim; the narrow width in this shoe is 2A, so the toe box is a bit sloppy for me. I can attest that this shoe is very comfortable to walk in. My morning walk is about 3 miles on a concrete sidewalk. I'll order this show again.

One reason I bought this shoe was that it was advertised as not being too wide in the heel with its relatively wide toe box. In length, the shoe is fine, but the heel is too wide. I will have to buy some heel inserts. I bought a wide size (for my bunions) even though I am borderline regular/wide so maybe the wide heel is what comes with the wide size. Also, the shoe was described as something that would pass muster as a regular sports shoe rather than looking like a shoe that diabetics wear. Well, this shoe may not be as obvious as some diabetic shoes, but it is still very cushy and big overall (for better comfort of course) and not as sleek and stylish as athletic shoes in general.

This particular New Balance walking shoe fit better and was more comfortable than any other I have tried. I maintain an active lifestyle and am on my feet throughout the day but because I have bunions and a fallen arch it is increasingly hard to find shoes that feel good. I plan to purchase another pair so I can alternate the shoes I walk in and the ones I wear all day. From the time I placed the order Zappos delivered in 3 days -- love the free shipping!

I first ordered this shoe in a B width, which usually works for me. The heel was very wide. Zappos C.S. rep. suggested I might not want to re-order, as the N width also runs wide. I tried it anyway. It is still too wide, and my heel slips, slightly. However, the shoe is true to size, and it's leather, which I really needed for rainy days, vs mesh. I am keeping them, and hope I won't regret it. I've tried heavy socks, but it's not enough to keep my heel from slipping...

I bought a 1/2 size bigger to beable to fit my own support orthopedic which fit but the shoe is a bit too big . I will wear thicker socks to take up the room. I hate buying shoes on line but the good shoe stores wanted way too much $$ for a good pair of walking sneakers. So far I'm comfortable with these.

The shoe is described as "gray", but it is more of a light purple. Back it goes.

Very comfortable walker in a pretty blue/purple color that is quite attractive! Yes, the heel was slightly loose but not enough to be a deal- breaker. I returned these only because I decided on a pair of Brooks Glycerin 16s and two pairs of the ASICS Gel-Nimbus in azure/white, and didn’t need a fourth pair of sneakers. I’m quite hard to fit and have nerve damage and many other foot issues, so was very happy to find three different styles that fit well (a big shoutout to Zappos).

I have a hard time finding sneakers that fit. My feet are wide with "fallen arches", narrow heel, and I have very high arches (on top of foot). I chose this style because they are leather, I wanted a breathable shoe, and stability for my overpronation. I ordered these in a half size larger than normal and in D width. The arch support felt good. I bought these in white. Style is subjective, I prefer a different look, but my choices are limited. The main reasons I returned these are the top of the shoe hit my high arches wrong and the heels are too wide. There was heel slippage and the feeling that my feet were moving forward while walking. Changing the lace to the last hole didn't help keep my foot in place. I don't want to ding New Balance because I have narrow heels and high arches. They are just the wrong shoe for my foot and they might work perfectly well for someone else!

Thankful for Zappo's free shipping and return policy as I buy 99% of my shoes from them. Once I get the shoe I always wear them for about an hour, true test to see how they will fit. These unfortunately were not wide enough. After about 20 minutes my toes started to tingle, so they were sent back. Since they did not have an WW I ended up buying a different style of New Balance.

Shoes were well made and the price is right. Unfortunately, I have a small narrow foot with a high arch. This shoe was to wide in the heel area even though it is listed as narrow.

This shoe fits true to size, and it has good padding for foot problems. The shoe is so comfortable I almost kept two pairs. However, I needed a shoe with more support for overpronation.
