I was disappointed with this shoe and had to return it. I selected the white/pink style, but did not realize it had a mesh-like upper. Where the lightweight mesh joined the solid leather by the toe, the seam was rough and my toenail kept "catching" on the seam. I own the 411 in all leather and there is no problem; it's a great shoe. The problem was with the mesh-to-leather seam transition.

I usually always wear a 9.5, narrow width sneaker. I ordered a 9 & 9.5 narrow in this show. Kept the 9.5 but my heel keeps slipping. I've had to put heel grips in shoe. Would not buy these again.

I used to depend on NB for good quality, narrow trainers, but no more. I ordered these a full size larger than my shoe size. I normally wear a 9-9.5N and I ordered a 10.5N. These shoes are huge. They must be closer to an 11.5. I've added an insole and if I wear my heaviest socks, I can make do with them for running errands and sitting around but I am unable to use them for walking the treadmill, which was my intended use. Ironically, I ordered two pairs of NB trainers, different styles, both in 10.5 N. One pair is short and the other pair is, as I said, huge. I'm very disappointed in NB and their quality control. I doubt that I will bother with them again.

The front portion of the shoe is now too narrow, it squeezes the foot right at the first joint of the toes. I've ordered a Wide before for the WW411 (I guess "version 1"), which fit much better -- though a little snug near the front (pain-free!). The WW411v2 is painfully tight at the same point.

Yes, these are comfortable and supportive. But they look like orthopedic corrective shoes and I just can't bring myself to wear them. I am returning these. If style is not an issue for you, go for it!

I really wanted this shoe to work for me because I loved the color, and needed a comfortable all day walking shoe. I gave it ample opportunity to "break in" but it never did. This shoe rubbed the top of my foot along the side of the tongue to the point of blistering. I have a high arch, but never experienced this problem with other active wear shoes. They also made my narrow foot look freakishly wide. Back they go!

Wife wore these for about 10-20 times (purchased about a month ago). Really disappointed that the shoes starting to become apart. This is really strange comparing that 3 year old Asics held up really well in comparison. For example, the soles are losing their layers. Overall, the shoes feel too much "plastic-y". Not recommended, especially at the full crazy price. When I purchased the shoes, I was trying to use the $30 off coupon that was about to expire. Even with such a discount, these shoes are not worth it due to limited quality and similarly limited comfort.

Love the shoe but runs EXTREMELY small. Ordering a replacement in a full size larger.

The tongue seems to go much higher than in other shoes and the top "edge" is hurting my foot so I'm returning them.

The women's size 8 were not even remotely a size 8. In fact, one of them was so incredibly small it fit a child who wears a size 6 shoe!!! This makes me very angry b/c when I order a pair in a particular size, it may run small or large, but an 8 should never be anything other than an 8! If I recall, the last time I ordered multiple pairs of sneakers, they were really size 7's, which wastes my valuable time which is in very short supply. It is extremely unfair - even fraudulent - to offer shoes in size 8 that are guaranteed not fit (by a long shot!) b/c they are not size 8, but in the case of this order, a 6! This, I repeat, is not the normal variations in sizes between manufacturers but an outright lie as to what the size says. I may try Zappos again, but if I have further problems I am afraid I can no longer trust Zappos to deliver what it promises and Zappos will lose me as a customer. Please have your suppliers follow the correct standard US sizes (Zappos certainly has the market power by now!) This is a major waste of my time to have to order anywhere from a size 8 to a size 10 just to get a correct size 8, which I have never had a problem with until now. (In another recent order, my supposed size 8 fit a child of size 6/6.5!) ** Please don't say they run large or small - they don't "run" within the proper size range at all! The closest fit was a size 10, while I am actually a size 8! It's unfair to cause people to try on so many unnecessary pairs when proper sizing can eliminate illogically wide swings in shoe sizes. Plus, this has to triple the time and costs of Zappos in processing returns which would not be necessary if sizes followed the correct ranges.

These shoes are so comfortable, but they've given me the worst athlete's foot and put pressure on my Achilles tendon. I'd also like to state I've never had athlete's foot, EVER! These shoes don't breathe at all! My feet sweat and stink to high heck in these. :( On the positive side they feel great when I walk around as I stated before, so it's up to you what you can put up with in a shoe.

These are comfortable as can be, but... they have a nice diamond pattern that seems to be made by putting holes in one layer of fabric and backing that with another layer of plain white. This ends up having every single grain of dirt and dust sliding in between the layers, making the shoes look filthy in just one wearing. And that was across a parking lot and into curves. I was not hiking or gardening and the shoes look like hell. I have gotten them mostly cleaned by attacking them with a toothbrush and dish soap, but I don't want to be cleaning sneakers every day. I needed a pair of gardening shoes, so these will be them.

Had to exchange this shoe because too tight at ankle and at toe box when wearing thick socks. Not fond of the shoe ties. Will try the double wide EE WW577 New Balance next because of my flat painful feet.
