Lousy Laces on Lovely Lavender Shoe The shoe is fine. The laces won't stay tied. Esthetically, the laces are very nice. But, come on, you had one job -- and it wasn't looking pretty. I'm going to swap in the laces from my old sneakers.

New Balance is a good fit for me but these didn't work unfortunately. True to size, comfy and my custom orthotics fit. Great! But then I walked across the room and back. My heel slipped dramatically. If your heels are even slightly on the narrow side this is not the shoe for you. They are going back. Love zappos excellent customer service as always!

These are great - except if you have boney ankles like I do. The side rests just at the bottom of the ankle bone - so, ouch.

This is a good looking shoe and the color is not actually gray but a cross between gray and lavender. In wearing these around the house for a few hours, I found that the width of the toe box wasn't big enough for my wide feet with bunions. I ordered my regular size 8.5W but found the ball of my foot started to get numb after wearing. I was hoping these would work for me but they have to go back.

Arch support non-existent. Materials felt cheap and artificial. Otherwise, pretty color.

I like the shoe very comfortable and true to size, however after 6mos mesh pulled away from front leather the shoe is not too small plenty of room in toe

I have worn New Balance for years but I am disappointed with this shoe. I have worn 12M for years. These shoes are too short. I wish I had realized this before I wore them outside. My toes hit the end of the shoe, particularly on downhill walks. There is not much cushioning and no arch support. I have added inserts but the shoe is still not very comfortable. I really can't recommend them.

Neutral color, not garish. Unfortunately, this shoe caused severe heel discomfort and aching feet, so I returned. I would say the shoe is true to fit, true medium width, moderate arch support. Not for someone with weight issues, plantar fasciitis, other foot issues related to bone injury.

Last fall I got the New Balance WW411 in black and absolutely love it...the fit of the shoe was perfect. I tried the WW411v2 in white because the WW411 was no longer available. It is a very nice looking shoe, but for me, this shoe does not fit as well as the original. It felt a little wide (I wear a narrow), not quite as sturdy, and not nearly as comfortable, so I returned it. That being said, I have to compliment Zappos on their customer service. Ordering and returning shoes is hassle-free. Thank you!

Even while wearing extra thick socks, these shoes did not improve with over all comfort. Heel was rather wide. Quality is not really there.

The overall quality of New Balance products has deteriorated in the last few years. This is most evident in the more flimsy materials used in their manufacture. I have to replace my New Balance walking and training shoes every 6 months and that didn't used to be the case. Because they are the brand which fits me the best (wide width) I'll continue to wear the brand while I search for alternatives.

I ordered my usual size 10, narrow. Too short on left foot. Ordered size 10.5 but the shoe needed to be narrower to fit my foot. Just didn't fit. I have to walk a lot in New York City and need a good walking shoe. Love New Balance, but just not this shoe.

I bought this shoe because the description led me to believe it was roomy in the toe area, and I thought the mesh fabric would be comfortable. Not so, my toes rubbed to the point of soreness such that I can't wear them all day any more.

This shoe stretched too much for my foot. I have a wide toe box but more narrow ankle. I usually wear this brand for trail running. This shoe didn’t feel much different than the athletic shoes I wear,, just a different material. Personally, I felt I wasted my money on this shoe. If you have a wider foot, it will work. It was very comfortable at first. Arch support was good until the stretch. Good traction in the kitchen.

Length wise the shoe fit. Width was given as narrow, Shoe was only narrow in the middle. My heel came out of the back of the shoe. Front part of shoe was to wide. I have very small narrow feet. It was to bad the only narrow part was the middle. I really did like the NB (:

I could tell as soon as I took the shoes out of the box that they were not a narrow shoe. Disappointing. It did look like a quality shoe but the size was way off.

These do not feel like leather. They seemed much shorter and narrower than would be expected. Narrow toe box.

I was so hoping to like this shoe after reading the reviews. I found that there were problems for me within an hour of wearing the shoes in the house. The D width was good but the toe box narrowed in the front of the shoe not allowing my toes to “spread out” as they have in other NB shoes. It was good that the sewn upper parts were not rubbing on my toe or toe joints. The shoes felt a little narrower than a D width size would imply. I have had other NB D width shoes that worked well. Also, almost immediately when I was walking around with the shoes my left knee (chronic orthopedic issues) starting cracking and popping with every step. This had not happened with other NB shoes. For these reasons, I’m returning these shoes. They may work for you, they just don’t work for me. Back to the drawing board. I hope I can get the NB shoes that I had prior. They were unavailable. Fingers crossed.

New Balance USED to make shoes I could wear with my narrow feet. These were just a bit too wide in the heels and very stiff feeling around my ankle. I had to return them as I know the leather would stretch in time, making them much too wide for my heels. The stiffness would have eased with wear, but I cannot bear a shoe that does not fit well. This style had a decent amount of toe room. My last pair (a different style leather NB) had a too-narrow toe room area (even after time for stretching) and gave me sore feet.

These were great shoes when I first got them and I wore them for about 6 months. Then the stitching began to unravel at the toe and I had to get rid of them. I was very disappointed because I had liked them a lot.

Looks just like it does on the website. Way too narrow though.

I typically wear NB in a 10N. This shoe felt big, perhaps because of the large toe box.

I wear New Balance but the size 8W that I received in this style was narrow and tight.

shoes were light weight but they hurt my feet on the top and my heels kept slipping in the back.
