Felt uncomfortable and unstylish

I find the New Balance fit okay through the width, but the toe is short. I have always worn an 8 WW. However, the shoe is shorter than it used to be and hits at my toe with no room. I have to contemplate ordering an 8 1/2 now to get enough length

I have very wide feet now after many foot problems. Anyhow, I have been trying to find a pair of shoes that are right for me after many trial and errors, I thought these were the widest width one can get in these shoes. My fault, the men's 813 does come in 6WW. I got the women's in 4ww. The men's and women's are basically the same ugly shoe. These shoes in the 4ww are still very tight in the toe box for me. Other than that, I find these shoes to be very comfortable. I have an old pair of the 813 and I could wear them for hours. But now the toe box is too small. They do have bad laces and are hard to lace way up, as other reviewers have noted, but for the price if I get it in a wider width, they will work.

Finally a shoe that is made for an extra wide foot. The toe bed is rounded and not pointed like so many shoes made in an extra, extra wide. They are not the most comfortable but my feet fit in the shoe so this is good. The leather is warm and my feet sweet immediately. I would recommend this shoes if your feet are very wide.

These are nice shoes EXCEPT for one thing: The back of the shoe is too low. It made it hard for me to get the shoe on. Even worse, the shoes wouldn't hold on to my heels as I walked, and my feet kept slipping out. A smaller size wouldn't fit, so that's out. I'm putting the shoes in the mail to Zappos today.

Unfortunately, these were a tight fit despite being wide width. Plus, the new way NB marks the shoe number on the tongue is really ugly.

I tried these as an alternative to the 928V2. These ran quite narrow, but did have a round toe box. They felt narrow thru the ball of the foot. I did have to return these.

Wish the 840 shoe was still being made. It was my favorite. This is no match for the quality and cushioning of the 840. Must send back.

The color was too muted, the fit seemed too large, and the shape seemed too flat footed.

Not a comfortable show. I changed the shoe twice and after 5 days on a cruise my feet were so sore. Unfortunately I can't send them back. This was my first purchase from Zappos. I doubt that I would ever buy from them again.

Not much available in 4E, this one is. It's cute, but hard to wear for long. Strong support, no cushion.

This shoe does not fit like a narrow at all. It is actually wider than some medium width NB shoes. Also short in the toe for size.

These shoes seemed to lack cushioning and they slid up and down on my heels. I tried using the outer eyelets at the top in order to make the shoes more snug, but the eyelets (metal) pressed into my feet and were very painful. I am returning the shoes.

Felt a full half-size smaller, both in width and length. (I’m an 8.5 M). As some others have commented, shoelaces are cheap. Also, didn’t have much cushioning; didn’t seem like they would be comfortable even if they fit right.

New Balance/Brooks leather shoes have been my go to shoes for over 30 yrs and of course their styles change slightly. But lately I’m having trouble finding a pair that fits & made as sturdy as my last ones. This particular style has fewer eyelets & fewer support bands. I tried to find more expensive styles but no one has them, not Zappos or Amazon or New Balance website. I’m trying another brand but they are such a mess getting exchange or return. I appreciate well made shoes and am willing to pay if needed. I know I usually pay around $150. Is this a supple chain problem? Very disappointed.
