I have worn the NB 811 pink ribbon roll bar shoe since it was recommended to me by my podiatrist. I am a nurse, working 12 hour shifts with osteoarthritis in my feet. I was having awful pain in other shoes. I had no pain from day one with each new pair of 811's I purchased over the years. No blisters, no rubbing, etc. The new 813's KILL my feet! I cannot wear them! I can't even get out of the house in them before my feet hurt. PLEASE! BRING BACK THE 811'S! They were a GREAT shoe. Very disappointed with New Balance for letting go of something SO GOOD for something SO BAD! :-(

Terrible. The shoes came with someone's used and dirty orthotics left inside. Someone obviously returned them and left them inside. There were no paper inside them. The shoes also run small and were too tight.

I have bought many iterations of the 800 Series over the years, but I had to return this pair because the construction changed. The tongue is much narrower and barely covers the opening when laced up, there seems to be less cushioning, and the shoe is no longer made in the U.S. I'm very disappointed that New Balance decided to make what was a great series no longer so.

Too boxy, clunky and yet too narrow at the big toe area.

I have worn New Balance 812 for many years in all the colors and the 813 is a cheap substitute! I am disappointed that New Balance has replaced quality for economics in their leather walking shoes. I need to find another brand.

I have a pair of this style number and size that I bought a year ago. The sole of the new shoe is significantly narrower than the older one. I had to return shoe

Over the years I have bought over 20 pairs of the various 800 series from NB. They saw me through years of teaching--great shoes. But now NB has downgraded the shoes for the 813 model--less cushioning, smaller tongue, sole with tiny, dirt-catching crevices, etc. A lower price is no consolation, and now I must sadly abandon the 800's and look elsewhere for shoes. Really disappointed in the New Balance decision to lessen the quality of what had been a great shoe series.

biggest new balance disappointment ever. could not fit 9 1/2 extra wide. Actually wearing 9 extra wide in 812. Doesn't make any sense. the tongue doesn't even come where it should. wore 811 for years.

I was told this was a replacement for the 811. It does not compare in any way. No cushioning at all no comfort whatsoever. The shoe is also so much lower around ankle so no support there. I returned them.

These shoes were a huge disappointment. They look OK, but they were stiff, felt 1/2 size smaller than the size, and the tongue does not lay flat, but sticks up.

I wanted to order another pair of 812's but they were not available so ordered 813. They are not nearly as comfortable. Not enough room in the toe area. I will be returning them. Sure wish I could get the 812!

Have had several pair of the 811 and 812 and loved them. The 813 slipped at the heel, my toes touched the end and the straps were to long. Returned them. Same size in the 577 fit fine. Have had several pairs of the 577.

These felt narrow for a 4E New balance no longer has the nice roomy toe boxes it was known for. The shoes were uncomfortable overall they felt stiff.
