Love my new boots and thanks to other reviews and Zappos help, the size is perfect. I would definitely recommend this item. I'm taking them out for a walk in the snow shortly !

I ordered these boots after researching shoes for comfort and support because my heels hurt on a daily basis. I LOVE these boots! They were immediately a great choice after wearing them the first day and not wanting to take them off because my feet didn't hurt. What a wonderful thing! Also, the red is so much fun and I got several compliments on them the first wearing. I wish all shoes were this comfortable and supportive.

Nice looking, easy to get on and off— will add a more cushy insole, but good support and warmth— lightweight— could be a bit wider for me, but just won’t wear really heavy socks. Very cold Wisconsin winters, so will be great for that.

I've had these boots for 3 years now. They are lightweight, warm, and cute. I would say the support is pretty good, inside the boot, and they are definitely comfortable to wear for the day. I wore them just around my (medium) city, to the park, running errands, etc. The top of the foot is not waterproof, so if you wear them in deep snow be sure to use a waterproofing spray or else moisture will seep in and wet your feet (I know this from experience!). I took off a star because the sole of one boot cracked this year--three years after I bought them. It split all the way through the rubber outer sole and up into the fabric inside. Needless to say, wearing them in ANY wet weather now gets my foot wet. I'll keep wearing them when it's strictly dry but now I have to get a new pair of boots that are actually waterproof on the bottom, ugh. I thought they would last for more than 3 years of pretty tame wear.

Bought as an alternative to a Land's End boot that I had to return as it rubbed my right ankle raw. Very happy with this gray boot! Nice square toe box, which I prefer as I get older. Plenty of room for extra socks. Have only worn in 20-30 degree (F) weather but warm so far. Good arch support. Cute. Hope they last me for years to come.

Very pleased with the look and feel of these boots. Taking them to NYC soon to try out how warm they are but they feel like they will meet my expectations. Can't wait to use them.

I purchased a 1/2 size larger per a recent review given. Worked great. When it’s very cold you need to wear warm socks. Temperature was 25 felt like 14, snow and a wind of 28 MPH. I wore nylons, long socks and a wool pair of socks and my toes stayed warm. Without two pairs of socks my toes were chilly.

I normally wears wide width shoe, but these shoes fit perfectly.

I tried on many boots, even other Columbia boots, and I found these run wider. I normally wear a 9-9.5 D or 9-9.5 wide, but other brands that came in a wide width were too wide. I sized up to a 10 so I could wear thicker socks in them. I am excited to try them out in frigid MN weather as I watch my grandchildren in their ski races. It can get slushy at other times, and the waterproof feature will help in both cases.

Absolutely love these Ice Maiden II! I normally wear and 8 1/2 and I went up 1/2 size so I could wear thicker socks. Columbia is the only winter boot I will buy and the price is great! This is my 3rd pair. I bought the brown ones. Don’t hesitate-you won’t be disappointed. !

L O V E ...so cute and very comfortable! I bought the elk color. I am a true 9 but bought a 9.5...I like my boots a bit bigger. I just wore them around the house and they are very warm which I will need for Montana winters. Highly recommend! I won't buy any shoe if it's not comfortable. Hubby likes them too :)

I've only worn these boots once, but it was the true test in over a foot of snow. Other than them being a little short (for over a foot of snow!), they are AWESOME. Super light weight. Comfy. Good tread. And stylish to boot (pun intended!).

I was looking for something easy to slip on and off and tuck pants into for quick trips to the mailbox or to take the dog out. Jeans tuck inside easily and they look good with jeans or leggings. I was happy to find something in this price range

Like style because it does not make foot look like your wearing a moon boot. The black color has black furry lining which is classy. However, the sole of the boot has an unusual shape that rocks your foot forward over the toe prematurely causing extra strain on ball of foot. Returning for this reason only.

My foot felt cramped. And I ordered a half size up from my normal size.

Love these boots!!! They just arrived yesterday and wouldn't you know, we had a freezing rain storm overnight. Tree branches broken, ice glaze over everything and I had to walk my dogs. Great time to try out these boots. They fit perfectly, even with a pair of thicker socks. They were comfortable. They gripped the frozen grass and wet ground. They were warm and waterproof. My feet didn't get cold or wet. I know I will be very happy with these boots, and at such a great price!!!! Yaaa, Columbia

Was really prepared to love these boots after reading all the reviews...and they are very cute. Unfortuantely, I have to send them back. I ordered a half size larger in order to wear thick socks, and that was a fine idea (maybe not necessary but OK). What I had trouble with was a strange rocking motion when I walked (from back to front). This could just be me and my old, odd feet...but I finally decided these boots would not work for me. Ordered the gray color and it is very cool. Continue to love Zappos service!!

After reading the reviews, I decided to order an 8.5, when I am usually an 8. The 8.5 is just about perfect- it has plenty of room if I want to wear thicker socks (although they are so warm, I doubt I will ever need to). (8's probably would have fit me okay as well). They are light weight, and the laces allow for me to cinch them up or leave them a little roomy. Took them out it snow, and my feet were definitely the warmest part of my body. Highly recommend.

These are GREAT! They are super comfortable and my toes have never even gotten close to getting cold. They're even cute! They are extremely true to size. I wear an 8.5 and that's what I ordered. I probably wouldn't wear super thick socks with them though but you really shouldn't because you don't want your feet to get sweaty.

Very comfortable and will be super warm, could tell as soon as I put them on. Great construction -- what you'd expect from Columbia Outerwear.

Super attractive boot, not too heavy and clunky. Slightly too short and there's something kind of stiff digging into the top of my foot at the joint at the base of my big toes. I think it's the stitching, but not sure. I'm hesitant to go a size up for fear of losing the not strong enough for my foot but better than most boots arch support.

I bought these on recommendation from my daughter, who had already been through the process of trying on many different pairs of boots. I wear 8.5 in a dress shoe and 9 in a walking/gym shoe. I got the black pair in size 9 so I could wear a thicker winter sock. The major selling point for me is the removable insole, so I can replace it with my custom orthotics. They are the most comfortable insulated & waterproof boots I’ve ever worn. I walked our dog in 25 degrees weather and my feet were so comfortable and warm, I didn’t want to take them off. I highly recommend!
